really? that pos got first place...fucking japs.
WTF
It gets worse.
>>5764640
That was the greatest thing that came from this really.
You'll see a pattern in a moment.
Dokodemo Issyo shit and all Turtles are the most wanted Revos guys!
Besides Yamaguchi's best works Reycal and Vash...this was really stupid.
Nothing wrong with the Turtles but there are so many better things...
...and WTF
>>5764636
Ah I forgot Takeya-shike Jizai Okimono
Hebikera
Starts to make sense.
>>5764642
FUCKING REALLY??!?!!
Shin Getter 1, name and picture are not the same one, pic is New Getter (新ゲッター)
>>5764677
As in this guy.
Seriously WTF?
The only recent activity I see for the series is collaboration with MH Frontier G and Ace Combat Infinity...Is that it??
>>5764636
I remember when I got mine for 10 bucks from HLJ during one of their clearance sales years back.
>>5764677
OH YEAH MY BOY TOYOHISA MADE TOP 30!!!!
There this looks better.
I really hope Kaiyodo be smart and ignore the ranking order and Legacy the good Revoltechs that deserves it.
nov.2chan.net/y/res/3543565.htm
Hahaha Kaiyodo CEO calling out Reycal manga author for his cheap promotion tactics controlling the votes.
So there was one already planned for rerelease that got into the ranking coincidentally. I wonder who it is.
>>5764730
I'm a little surprised Raiden, PW Snake and any Evangelion didn't make it in.
>>5764636
well that was unexpected, considering she was one of the cheapest revoltechs i managed to get.
in any case, congrats reyca-
>>5764741
kek
>>5764744
I think that might also mean the people who wanted those didn't wait to get them. Raiden and Evangelion has already gotten a bunch of re-releases and redos without even being Legacy.
The fucking top 10 doesn't make any sense, especially with how the Turtles all shelf-warmed. King Gainer is a pleasant surprise, he is a very good figure, even though he's dated. Monster Hunter Rathalos armor, I'd grab if it got re-released.
>>5764773
Technically we are the bizzaro /toy/, since the 2ch futaba threads were first
So how does this work? Does the vote mean they are they only remaking the one in the top space? top 10? I cant read moon speak
>>5764636
Not surprised. Reycal is really popular among toy collectors in Japan if only because of the fantasy of handmade figures/garage kits coming to life.
Keep seeing images of people buying the sequel manga, Duo, every time there's a release, though it sees it's concluded as of the fifth volume.
>>5764851
Means nothing. They will use it to contemplate what to release so could be anything any number.
>>5764807
Vash and Gainer made it though and they had recent rereleases. It really is all over the place.
>>5764852
Is it actually popular? I thought that was all heavy twitter activity by the author triggering it.
Yeah it concluded, at least to a degree for his work. Jinki series is a mess none of them really concluded and he is starting another one.
>>5764863
Yes, yes it is. I mean nowhere near to the degree of mainstream shit, but the people who care enough to know what revoltech is and collect figures/build kits as a hobby likely know and enjoy Reycal. There's significant overlap into the shinki community too.
>>5764887
Yeah ok. I did thought Shinki had that corner completely dominated but nice to know Tsunashima's work is recognized.
I really want a Revoltech Moribito 2Go. Old figure is fine but a Revo could do so much more.
>>5764730
>no Echidna
>shit-tier Melona and pissbrat instead
I will never get my waifu will I? I am glad Vash is on the list because I sold mine and sorta regret it. It's probably the nicest Vash figure that will ever be made. Also glad to see some Assembleborg's making the list especially if they get a true retail release this time. It was impossible to get them for a good price when they were Kaiyodo store exclusives.
>>5764913
For AB they picked the 2 that were sold out so folks used their brain a little for that.
I'm actually surprised Melona made it, more surprised little Alice was there when you can still get the Legacy with no problem I assume.
Curious what the number of votes are for the lower ranks, because I didn't think anyone besides me would put votes into Dix Neuf.
>>5764741
source???
>>5764929
Random person on twitter.
Remove Dokodemo Issyo crap and TMNT and the ranking makes so much more sense now lol.
>>5764929
Wait, you're talking about the picture right?
>>5764636
I'm not surprised. I read three chapters of the manga ages ago and she is cute. CUTE!
>>5764954
She eats bugs though.
Mark 45 on display. Shiny.
Jarkroid had a third face part.
I thought only two since they are twins.
>>5764912
Well Tsunashima's a shinkifag too.
>>5764730
I'm happy the elric brothers made it in, hope they get rereleased.
>>5764989

>>5764642

>Melona 19th
>NINE
>TEENTH
>THOSE FUCKING CATS
>SECOND AND THIRD
>>5765127
Normies>degenerate otakus in terms of consumer base, m8.
>>5765147
You would think 1) Buying action figures, 2) Actively voting for it on twitter, would wean out the normies.
Is Dokodemo Isshyo still popular? I though that was long dead, or did someone pulled a twitter campaign.
The shit didn't sell at all the first time.
>degenerate waifufags on suicide watch
sieg cats
>>5765204
>The shit didn't sell at all the first time.
They still don't and go for less than 1000 yen on Mandarake. I can understand the turtles since those go for at least 7k now but not the Toro shit.
>>5764670
Why is Alice even on there when she got a Legacy re-release?
>>5764670
Damn. Surprised Layton got so low since I always hear people wanting a reprint of him. Oh well, I already got mine back when he was 900 yen.
>>5765327
I doubt a lot of those people knew about the whole vote going down but it's nice to see Layton is there.
>>5765381
And Woody. My original point was Metal Gear and Evangelion Revos didn't make it in, anon said because people got those already so didn't vote for them. But there are plenty of items in there that people would have by now. The results are pretty mixed between favorites and Legacy request.
>>5765494
>But there are plenty of items in there that people would have by now
And a lot of the ones up there are also dirt fucking cheap because they never sold for shit.
This contest was all fucked up. Hopefully they just ignore that catshit and the recent Revo Legacy's and re-release the more expensive ones on the list/ones that didn't get a Legacy.
>>5764636
should I feel bad that I've never heard of this character before? Not her source material, or as a figure. From the image I would have guessed she's related to KOS-MOS or something.
>>5765653
No, it's not like your expected to know every figures source material.
>>5765653
She is in the tier of no one but Kaiyodo would ever make a figure of it.
Short run manga, more of a friend of the family type deal getting Revoltech made. Yamaguchi made Jinki figure before. Assemble Borg (and Yamaguchi himself?) makes appearance in the manga.
Ugh, proving yet again the goddamn nips have no taste. I will never get my legacy echidna.
Any update on the latest Deadpool saga? Was that one cuck from Fwoosh lying about BBTS not honoring preorder?
>>5764681
The red on the one on the right makes it look like it's a cheap candy toy.
>>5766400
You're not wrong, they were cheap to begin with.
Guess I forgot the red wasn't painted on.
Either one of those being in the ranking is bullshit over the superior Getter 1 Renewal ver.
>>5766409
They should give us legacys of the two Go Getters.
>>5766424
Well they should do all Getters, I like them all.
>>5766441
I didn't wanna sound too greedy. We're just setting ourselved up for disappointment.
Anyone know what pic related is? Especially the middle one.
>>5766466
So they are customs. Middle is Revo Go altered to look like anime/initial design,
Other two are Getter 2 and 3 equivalent, Sho and Gai, 100% customs.
>>5766469
Not 100% Customs
During Getter Robo GO, the company Yutaka made a handful of toys for Getter Robo GO in 1991 to 1992
The holiest toy of them all was the Jikou Gattai Getter Robo GO, literally the first time ever there was a perfect transforming Getter Robo toy that had three vehicles that could form all three forms. Spring loaded fists, chromed parts and weapons, metal chain for a ball and chain weapon, the works.
It was re-released with optional Super Parts when Getter Robo GO went through a mid-season upgrade, the release of the Super Parts standalone is nearly impossible to find.
There are a few differences between the original run and the Super one, the most noticeable one is that the silver chrome on the original is replaced with gold chrome. Another change is the ball and chain weapon for Getter Gai from the original being an actual chain to a stick that looks like a chain. The last change that's noticeable is the reduction of missiles included, instead of four yellow missiles, Super came with two gold chrome missiles.
The Super version was released two more times, a clear version and a black version. These two versions kept the gold Chrome but either used translucent plastic or all black with the gold chrome.
One size down is the DX versions. Chrome and spring loaded missiles. They had one release of each Getter Robo, and each Getter Robo could be broken down to each ship. But each ship were dedicated to being either an upper body, lower body, or backpack.
Finally, at the bottom, the cheap option. Three robots molded in their main colors with little articulation. Economy class and almost forgettable, if they weren't in scale for the Revoltech Getter Robo Go.
>>5766653
Ah. Never seen the cheap ones, but very 90's. Reminds me of tiny plastic models that came with gum or ramune candy, many mecha properties went down that road.
>>5766653
How do you know this?
>>5764677
>Woody is 23rd
>on the request for rereleases of revoltechs
>the motherfucker who gets rereleased yearly at this point
>even remotely considered for getting yet another re-release
Fuck my existence, when are people going to stop with this shit meme?
Also
>danboard
Like anynody needs more of these fucking things in circulation.
>>5766870
Getter Robo is one of my favorite super robot series and Revoltech Getter Robos were at one time a glorious thing for Getter fan, because we finally had more wide spread releases of toys.
>>5764730
You had one fucking job Japan
>>5767369
I think I put the most votes into her. And fucking Alice makes it in, not even the Boosted form.
Damn it.
> no Alucard
Fuck
>>5767393
Alice's Legacy release shelfwarmed for like a year at the usual places. I just don't get it. I wonder if the majority of people voting for these are normalfags who only discovered it because Twitter or something. It would explain why the top ten is all Toro & Friends and TMNT. Reycal's only up there because the mangaka got his fans to vote en masse.
This whole contest is made of salt and bullshit. How the fuck could this possibly be the results? Are TMNT REALLY that fucking popular in Japan?
>>5767606
Reading Japanese threads, it seems many didn't even knew they got made. I think scalpers bought them all up and they went high priced immediately. Current show is out in Japan maybe and folks wanted a second chance getting them?
I saw American toys at Yodobashi a while back, didn't look like they were moving.
Is Reycal the one with the famed "neck" connector for QB tiddies onto other head?
/toy/ is a slow board and there aren't that many Revo /toy/ fans too. Revo general moves at slower speed than say Figma or Figuarts. There simply aren't that many of us guys.
I also bet that half or a quarter of Revo general regular here doesn't have twitter and don't bother to vote
>>5767606
they're fairly popular, though its more a strong cult following than it is mainstream prevalence. kinda like how anime is in the US, i guess. there's a shit load of TMNT doujin out there. the fan art scene based in it is especially huge. pair that with all the westerners who missed out on them and it makes sense, even if it does surprise even i, a huge fan of them.
>>5767775
Yes.
>>5767788
>there's a shit load of TMNT doujin out there
Oh God why.
>>5767784
You didn't need Twitter to vote. Clicking on the vote button on the site is what counted the vote. Tweeting about it was optional.
>>5767890
You sure about that? I clicked the vote tab on sites many times for different items but the option didn't disappear until you hit the tweet tab in the new window for 5 items. You needed to be signed into twitter to do that.
And their instructions said you need twitter and to follow their account to vote (that could be more for winning prizes).
Anyways, twitter seemed necessary to vote.
>>5767927
Not him, but yes the tweeting was entirely optional.
You are right that as per their instructions, the first step was to follow their twitter account, and then vote. I'm sure that was just to promote their twitter, and it was written on the site that the tweeting itself was optional and just if you wanted to participate in their prize lottery. I even got my Japanese girlfriend to read it to confirm it for me, just to be sure.
Besides, it doesn't make much sense to necessitate tweets. Counting tweets is a terrible system to tally and keep track of votes.
>>5767973
I might add that maybe being a registered twitter user was somehow necessary, I couldn't say. I was logged into my twitter account admittedly and got the tweet pop-up, which I simply closed without tweeting anything. It counted the 5 votes each time and then closed off. I should mention I voted both on my PC and on my tablet, essentially giving me 10 votes each day, so it seems they were limiting votes based on your IP rather than on a per twitter account basis.
So I can't say for sure if you needed a twitter account, that's entirely possible. But tweeting anything was not necessary.
>>5767973
But you can hit the vote multiple times for more than 5 items, and it didn't cut you off until the tweet button was hit for that item then completely when you did that for 5.
At least that's how I saw it worked. Yeah my Japanese is still good but I guess I missed that part I'm pretty blind.
So how did voting go down without twitter involvement? You just hit vote 5 times, close the new window every time and the site cut you off properly?
>>5767987
Okay you closed window and still counted hm. I did that too sometimes and maybe it did counted those.
I thought it was glitched and when I erase my history I could vote again lol.
I think there were some holes in the system.
I haven't got mine yet, but from what I can see Black Magician seems to be a must have for Revoltech fans.
Hero landing.
That neck movement.
>>5768011
The 2ch thread is having some fun but I'm willing to wait and see if they do the purple Dark Magician.
>>5768028
I'm pretty sure these movie ones are all we're getting. Or you meant figma because yeah I understand. I have no nostalgia and think the new one looks really cool.
>>5768028
Sorry if I'm way off on this, but I came to realize it is Dark Magician in the States? Like it is the same one as Black Magician right ? I translated for Yu-Gi-Oh cards once for a job and had all these stupid rules like don't use words like demon and other religious stuff...but did they seriously not use the word Black for the reason I am thinking? How does that make sense.
>>5768036
>movie ones are all we're getting
Well damn. Hopefully WF shows something for the figma but I could double down for this Dark Magician once I can get more space if that doesn't go through.
>>5767999
Yeah it worked for me. Clicked vote, twitter window opened, closed it without doing anything, repeated 4 more times and then it cut off. I did this twice every day (maybe forgot a couple of times), once on my PC and again on my tablet, worked the same on both (cut off after 5 votes, with no tweeting).
So I just bought my first Revoltech figure with an Amazon Gift card I got. It was the Revoltech Woody figure, it's from some seller called AnimeWild and the shipping hasn't updated in 5 days from saying "Item has left seller facility and is in transit to carrier" on Amazon. The tracking number does absolutely nothing on the DHL/USPS website either.
Did I get rused?
Holy shit, Venom is awesome as fuck.
>>5769759
Nice composition and use of effect piece.
Try not to be too close to the edge of frame and it will look way better.
SS Venom Snake is a masterpiece everyone should have him.
>>5769768
Sorry about the close-up. Filthy plebeian 4s user here.
>>5769752
I've actually bought from AnimeWild several times. They sometimes use smaller parcel services before handing off to USPS. You shit is probably on it's way just fine.
>>5769759
Yes, yes he is.
What are the chances of there being more Star Wars revos? I'd kill for a FO Stormtrooper from them.
what are these and why are they so cheap?
>>5770407
Look like some sort of robots. Possibly from somewhere in Asia.
>>5770422
listen here
>>5770407
Name of the series they're from is right in the titles, Anon. They're cheap because I guess no one liked the series. They're supposedly pretty good according to some other Anon who posts here, but I don't own any so can't vouch for that.
>>5770428
thanks
>>5770407
In Japan they average 1000 yen each before shipping and fees.
I bought 8x MiG-21 to build a squad.
>>5770428
>>5770407
I guess that anon was me. They are great, cheap because one they were pretty cheap to begin with, like 2500 yen or less, and they made so many in a short period of time they sort of flooded the shelves.
Based on a Dojin game that got popular over time, Muv Luv. Non adult versions came out on consoles too, got anime made. I think Kaiyodo did them before it became anime?
Then Kotobukiya started doing models and so Kaiyodo backed off.
There was even going to be a Revoltech of the main pilot girl, had prototype shown and everything, but got cancelled.
Anyways, the Revoltechs are great try one you like the design of. Shiranui is pretty fun with the swords. They are like alternate history fighter jets. By that I mean instead of fighter jets this world made robots, but they have the same names and some design features.
What's the situation on Deadpool, still need a proxy?
It's already happening

>that's a nice looking revoltech; I heard they're crazy posable

This world is truly filled with enigmatic mongoloids who don't understand the concept of what they're buying and what they should be buying it for.
>>5770691
I wasn't a huge fan of the way they look but the arms do work wonders for getting into specific poses. Then again I feel those guys won't give it a proper shot when they actually get him.
You think people will latch on to Deadpool and go through all the typical Revoltech hate all over like it was a new discovery...
Wait till Spider-Man comes out.
>>5770969
>implying we will have the possibility
this line's pretty much ded outside of japan thanks to disney
Can anyone find a video review of Black Magician yet? YouTube gives me nothing.
>>5770691
man who cares what those idiots think?
>>5771953
I feel like these sorts of people who give nothing inventive a chance are the reason we see such low quality, standardized shit coming from domestic companies. I feel like Yamaguchi's approach and techniques are pushing the boundaries of what an action figure can do, and because these idiots can't take 4 minutes to figure it out and tinker with it, they think it sucks and want their horribly mediocre and conventional articulation like that of a Marvel Legend. They hold back progress
>>5771963
same reason why hasbro uses the same fucking body for 80% of the MLs
>>5771969
They do that for economics, or in other words, because they're cheap fucks and only care about the bottom line.
>>5769759
How did you manage to get Ultron's lower arm on Snake? I thought you weren't supposed to take it off.
How tall are the revolminis? I got back into Metal Gear and see there's a Solid Snake and Venom Snake.
>>5772474
they are about up to the shoulders of a normal 1/12 figure.
not as small as you may think
>>5772474
>>5772562
does Melona have the old joints?
>>5772822
Yes. The 6mm joint quality might still be a hit or miss in those days.
>>5772830
Well that sucks. Guess I'll wait for a Legacy that may never happen.
>>5772908
>>5772910
What is it about fully functional multi-limbed characters that gets my dick hard aesthetically
>>5768040
It's not a racist reason. It's because Ameritards are religious and the BLACK MAGICIAN uses BLACK magic. So it's better to just say Dark
>>5772908
Dammit, now I want to do this.
>>5772928
You and me both. Currently waiting on this guy.
>>5772908
How did you do this?
>>5773029
Probably just drilling a few 3mm holes to fit the ratchet joints of the arms into.
>>5772969
That was the other reasoning that made much more sense, since I had to use words like fiend instead of demon.
Still pretty dumb, plenty of stuff use words like black magic or black mage and have no issues. Unless they got sued by crazy religious parents.
>>5772450
Its a cheat anon.
I replaced the whole arm (from the shoulder, since both of them use the similar double ended revo joint). The angle hides that.
>>5772830
Would it be more efficient to cannabilize another newer revoltech for the joints and use them on her? Considering with this poll we will probably never see any queen's blade legacies from here on out?
>>5773238
Sure. Cattleya should do nicely as she comes with enough flesh tone joints. If you can still find the 6mm joint pack Kaiyodo released long ago that would be cheaper. They are the same old joints but the quality is much higher.
>>5768036
I doubt a figma DM would poseability as good as this one. New DM looks alright, but I would have preferred the purp so it could match the same style as DMG when she comes out
Not really into Revoltechs that much, but I got a couple Revoltechs from one of those random grab bags from Mandarake.
Came with Lazengan, Gurren Lagann, TTGL, that soldier guy from Jin-Roh, EVA01 and EVA00.
But Lazengan's missing a fist, the Jin Roh guy looks like it's missing the weapons.
Are there bootlegs of em I can get just to get the parts.
>>5773966
Those 6mm joints are the old style, I managed to snag a bag at wizard world last year.
I should be getting mine today. Can't wait.
I wonder if he can hold Mark.09's scythe.
>>5775089
that would be a good pairing.
Damn, I hate that scythe for being so feeble.
Just got Iron Man in the mail and he is great, way better than I was expecting but he could have used a flight stand or some more accessories.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_6ehwwYDyM
How about this? looks kinda smart.
>>5775089
mines gonna be fucking ages. Was posted from AmiAmi on the 1st and only dispatched from outward office today
>>5776921
Well mine too. Fedex tracking was bullshit, a closer look it wasn't even in Canada yet but in the US for some reason. But said it was getting delivered yesterday. Now nothing. Did this because of the postal strike but I think EMS would've been here by now.
can someone explain to me why nearly every photo of mini venom has him in that weird hunchback mutant posture?
>>5777098
Because that's how they sculpted him. To look good in that position. If you take off his scarf you see his neck is all fucked up.
>>5776282
which one is it? I have been looking at some IMs revos but can't decide which one to get. I really want the MK2 but it's going for unreasonable prices for an old revo.

>that's how they sculpted him. To look good in that position.
>look good
hey man, if thats your thing i guess its cool, but fuck me this just looks wonky. i usually DO like yamaguchi
>>5777098
I thinks this makes people get the wrong idea at times. The photos are posed in Yamaguchi's style of posing. The figures are poseable enough he can take different style of posing but people think they are fixed in those poses for some retarded reason.
That might be the case for fixed angle cut joint figures, but with free range of mini joints or Revolver Joints it's not a real problem to pose them differently.
>>5775089

well assemble borgs weren't sold to gaijins before and the success of nexus has told kaiyodo that the world wants assemble borgs so they're available for order now.
>>5778181
What, you couldn't get them anywhere normally, like whats happening with Deadpool (apparently)?
>>5778187
No they were only sold on Kaiyodo's web store before Nexus
>>5778198
Ah, well, thats cool that they're gonna be available then, Anon.
>>5778141
Looks like they are not restocking sold out items, just supplying their own store's left overs.
That kind of sucks.
Hebikera is up too.
http://hlj.com/product/KYD12011/Sci
>>5778206
That's what the voting list was for. The ones that were sold out made it onto that one Legacy of Revoltech list.
>>5778234
They are not re-rereases as in they are not being reproduced again.
I am saying the Kaiyodo store is just shipping out the stock they already had left all these years.
Hence some AB are not sold because they've been sold out for a while.
>>5778230
Two made it in, doesn't mean they will get reissued necessarily.
>>5778141
I got hyped briefly, ordered them all and then canceled them a few minutes later after realizing a few of the releases I wanted most weren't available. The old ones while cheaper just don't have the ability to combine things into super pleasing non-clusterfuck designs like the more modern releases. Yeah Jarkroid costs 7000 yen but he's worth it. Especially if you own Nexus, Armoroid or the modern cycles.
As a few others pointed out these aren't necessarily re-issues either but instead overflow stock they think they can sell faster outside of the Japan only Kaiyodo Store. We aren't even getting ALL the stuff in the Kaiyodo Store. If these sell fast could we get more re-releases? Sure. When that happens I might grab a few that I want parts from.
At the end of the day...i'm happy with just Jarkroid for now. If the yen was in a better place (like 115-120) I might have considered the others.
>>5778276
I hope this will lead to some actual reissues. I'm surprised they didn't take this opportunity to reissue Nexus itself to go along with Jarkroid. Nexus have been sold out most places for a while now.
The non-humanoids are definitely meant for the parts while the generation 1 and 2 humanoids can only swap around limbs pretty much.
TMNT Leonardo & Donatello re-release!!
5378 Yen, October release.
Due to their high rank in the polls
....
.......
That's...way too fast...I'm doubting the legitimacy of that polls
Then again they did say ones already planned were in the ranking so maybe it was TMNT.
What this means for the others, like Reycal, who the fuck knows.
>>5778417
Oh forgot, PO starts July 8th.
>>5778417
>fucking October
could you not
>>5778141
Thanks for the heads up, ordered a few hades pods
>>5770921
exactly, If people care so much about an uninterrupted sculpt, buy a fucking statue.
So I've never had an Assemble Borg before and was thinking about picking this guy up, but the disassembled picture only shows like 3 revo joints.
Does it not come with any more than this? is that why its so cheap compared to one of the Nexus figures? Or is this just a misleading picture?
>>5779005
They are just showing you the "types" of joints it comes with. It comes with enough joints for the figure and more.
Here is the listing for AmiAmi to give you extra peace of mind.
>Joints Used: Total of 21
>(10mm Joint x5, 8mm Joint x13, 6mm Joint x3)
>>5779017
Awesome, thanks.
Def picking this guy up then
>>5779023
All the 2nd generation bad guys are awesome figures, highly recommended.
Should make interesting parts for Jarkroid too.
Man it sucks that Jarkroid will likely be the very last Assemble Borg figure, at least a new one.
I think it took 2-3 years or so to finally come out? I remember seeing info, drawings and parts pictures through several WFs
Ohh, Black Magician is actually sculpted by Yamaguchi. UC site said it was Matsumoto Eiichiro, but Kaiyodo's and the box says Yamaguchi. That makes much more sense it's text book Yamaguchi style body sculpt.
This guy has seriously fucked my standards for other figures. Hard to be satisfied with anything else now
>>5779352
I never expected the face sculpt to be that good, specially considering that it's a revoltech.
>>5779391
Yamaguchi really improved so that issue passed on by with Venom's release. It's not perfect but it's a major jump.
Is anyone aware of any reviews out there of the Revol Mini Ishida from Sengoku Basara? I couldn't find any photos for the life of me aside from the official stock photos and two they had up on my figure collection. I am really tempted to get him but want to see how he looks outside of official photos.
So don't buy from AnimeWild. I ordered from them on Amazon, they gave me a tracking number that never worked. The latest expected delivery date has passed. They basically told me "fuck ya mate" in their amazon reply back and now I have to go through Amazon customer support to get my $35 back for the Revoltech woody I never received.

Personally he is wonderful. Date has some extra parts on him that makes handling a bit annoying but Ishida has none of that so works really well.
>>5771756
He's are sold out at BBTS so no
>>5778254
Where did you find Panzer Puncher? He's not on hlj or amiami. Is he just sold out?
>>5779518
They aren't fulfilling those preorders.
>>5779510
Thank you based Anon, I seriously spent twenty minutes trying to find anything on my lunch break. Much appreciated.

You poor thing
Is the iron rust samurai skeleton out yet? It's already july.
>>5779519
I was talking about the Kaiyodo's web store. I think there isn't enough of him to be sold on other stores.
>>5779549
Yeah it's out. I skipped the rust ver. this time.
Turtles are up for preorders.
>>5779520
I put my order in at CDJapan, am I good? Haven't gotten any email about cancellation.
>>5779902
I think the only real way to know is when the figure is released, or close to release. Those sites will just follow what Kaiyodo will instruct them to do regarding international sale.
>>5779902
Email them and ask, amiami said they'd fulfill theres
>>5777697
revolminis are really under appreciated.
except for grey fox. fucking everyone loves grey fox
>>5770403
the figurats isn't far behind in terms of posability
>>5780558
>under appreciated
Very true. Most of the people who bought Snake weren't familiar with the brand they were buying and had no clue how to pose it properly. They also expected it to scale with 1:18 stuff, which it doesn't. Immediate bad rap from a lot of clueless people.
>>5780567
>>5780558
Revolmini are just too damn expensive for what they are. I can appreciate them as figures and still fill ripped off value wise. That scale just isn't possible in today's world where plastics and other material costs make it impossible to sell at a reasonable price. The first two releases were already pushing it at $25-ish shipped but from that point onward it started getting into $30-35+ when you could get figures in the 1/12 scale for a few bucks more.
Now 1/12 figures have went way up too but at the time the price difference between Revolmini and figma/Revo/SHF wasn't big enough to justify the smaller figures. Acid Rain, Hiya Toys and other 1/18-ish scale lines have the same issue. Hasbro has had to make massive cuts to articulation and paint in their line and they still go for like $13-15. GI Joe got killed off because of it too.
>>5780646
>too damn expensive for what they are
Your mistake is thinking size scale with price. It doesn't.
Only expensive Minis were aftermarket mark ups, otherwise they were cheaper and also went on sale several times.
The Minis had just as much parts and paints as most Revoltechs so yeah they were closer in price. Towards the end they went for higher quality so the price went up, but you were getting shit tons of accessories at that point.
They were action figures of similar complexity as 1/12, just happened to be at a different scale, 1/16.
And stupid Americans think they should be priced like cheap ass American 3.75 inch figures because they were closer in size.
Did they not understand Japanese collector figures >> American toys for pricing?
Kaiyodo took a gamble changing scale to see if they get new blood but it didn't stick. A shame really. Their Kinnikuman Minis were like the best ever made. Looks better than the SHFs for starts.
Kaiyodo likes their smaller figures so I hope it comes back in some form in a few years.
>>5780839
I just want a 1/12 MGS1 Revo Solid Snake. It's a fucking tragedy there still is no good MGS1 1/12 sized Snake figure.
>>5780839
>Your mistake is thinking size scale with price. It doesn't.
I didn't imply it should. I said from a value standpoint to a collector you could get 1/12 scale stuff for a slight bit more so that's why the line failed. You couldn't display it alongside 1/18 or 1/12 which is what most people's huge collections consist of. I wasn't saying the quality of the figures was poor, just the perceived value.
>>5780858
>perceived value
Yeah and that's the bias people have. Like 1/12 is better for instance. 1/18 isn't that huge in Japan so I don't think it was wrong to not be in that scale, Kaiyodo pick the size that was "fun to play with" and I think it works.
They released a good number of figures in a short time too so it wasn't like they had no buddies to fight with. Again it was Americans with their 2 or 3 MGS Mini complaining they were a head taller than their GI Joe collection. I don't think that was a huge number of people.
Like any Revoltechs, the line failed because people want Kaiyodo figures to be cheaper (now only possible for companies like Bandai), they hate Yamaguchi sculpts, they hate the quality in general, and the selection wasn't for everyone. Plus people still thought it had ratchet joints probably.
Revoltechs were just as small for the most part anyways.
>>5778141
So Assemble Borgs. These things look quite cool. I'm thinking of getting around 3 at the moment. Does anyone have any and can post some pics of some of the ones going up for preorder? Or any, really. Info seems to be quite scarce and i'm not quite sure where to look. Thanks!
>>5781242
You can navigate for plenty of images here for most of the ones that went up.
http://assembleborg.jpn.org/05_devilmorph/product/index.html
>>5781287
>Japs really do have the shittiest taste on the planet.
And yet collectors all over the world can't get enough of what they make. Yeah their taste sucks huh?
This poll targeted the wrong groups, wasn't promoted properly, unclear of intentions, had too many selection dividing up the votes, and so on.
I think the number of votes barely differs for like the top 100 Revoltechs, and first place was result of heavy campaign activity by the manga author.
>>5781335
Thank you! This is pretty much what I was looking for.
>>5781410
Recipes page is pretty fun.
>>5780142
So there's hope? When spidey goes up they'll let us have a small timeframe for us dirty white piggu?
>>5781506
Doubtful. This went up as a mistake and now that the licensing restrictions have been clarified it won't happen again. There is a number of items on AmiAmi right now that aren't allowed to be on the international site, only the Japanese site.
>>5771756
The same thing that happened with Bandai SW kits is happening with Revos?
>>5781627
Essentially, yes. Those are quite easy to get on Amazon though, through their fulfillment no less, so I imagine these won't get completely boned either. And if that doesn't happen, there's always ebay
>>5781622
Oh yeah? What else besides SW kits?
>>5779352
He is God-tier.
>find a Branwen with book on Mandarake for 9k
>only offer EMS or DHL
>postage comes to nearly £30 plus whatever jewforce will take
oy vey. at least it'll be fast
>>5782393
You better EMS anyway unless you like your package taking 3 months to arrive and looking like a gorilla played football with it, or just not arriving at all.
>>5782431
I've had decent luck with R-SAL as Royal Mail aren't terrible. Longest wait was a month, shortest was a week
>>5781335
Someone once posted what appeared to be a pretty cool assembleborg tittymonster. Anyone have that pic?
I really enjoy my monsyer hunter melynx and felynx but I have a question...its a pain to move the hands and feet up and down, I have to sort of turn it to a point where I can move it up and down, is this normal? there is resistance if I try to move the arms and hands up and down at other points and I am scared of braking the joints.
>>5782586
I also own figuarts and a few figma so I am not used to this guy of resistance, those cats are the first revoltechs I own. The sculpts are incredible by the way and although its sort of like a puzzle I can eventually get my cats in some really great poses, but it shouldnt be like that should it? the box shows some kind of instructions about the cats joints but obviously I can't read Japanese.
>>5782586
>>5782591
The pictures explain that you would normally need to take apart a certain area and twist the revolver joint to get it to bend at a specific angle but for the cats I never really sought it out.
Usually if I want the hands or feet to bend a certain side I just pop them off and rotate the wrist joint using my thumb and index finger. The joints for the feet on mine seem to rotate along so I don't need to remove anything.
It could be a case of your cats having stiff joints because I can move each of the limbs around without much resistance.
>>5782591
You can't understand the illustration on every revoltech box ever?
That shit is useless anyways.
So there is high resistance when turning the joint pegs against their holes? Like turning the joints them selves?
What you do then is to heat up the plastic receiving the joints, with the joints in them.
Use hair dryer or warm water. If there is a certain position that has the highest point of resistance, keep the joint at that orientation as the joint will press down on the heated plastic to loosen it up.
>>5782616
>That shit is useless anyways.
By that I mean unnecessary. You can twist the joints without taking off the limbs just fine.
The thinner muscle build of Black Magician makes me think Spider-Man will be a similar body mold.
Hip joint will likely be ball jointed, but then I wonder how he will put in thigh rotation. Best way would be just use the Revol Mini hip joints, then thighs can be a single unbroken piece.
>>5782775
I mean Spider-Man could use Revolver joints for hips like Raiden or the BM but there isn't enough room for the pegs so I doubt it.
>>5783776
The 2nd batch Jarknoids are the best ever.
No. 16 17 and 18. No.12 is okay too.
I haven't opened Hades Pod and I left it in Japan, so can't say if it's worth it, but should be fun if you are getting the Nexus Jarkroid
>>5782467
Are you talking about the rearranged female version of Nexus or Jarkroid? They didn't really have tits. Was it just using AB parts?
>>5783790
I don't know. I think it was green and red? I don't remember the pic that clearly, but it was definitely made of Assembleborg parts and only those. I think the revo joints might've formed the tits?
>>5783795
Is that one in the pictures?
https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B01I2Q3PJ6
>>5783795
>>5783800
Yeah definitely about this one.
I think I had a different pic, like a twitter one.
I've ordered 3 jarkroid already.
If it isn't that expensive I will definitely get 3 more.
>>5783776
Also you should really try and find Nexus and Armoroid. Armoroid is on HLJ still so that's easy buy.
>>5783814
If I have one complaint about the Assembleborg stuff, it's that I never see a face I like on them.
>>5783773
I didn't know I could be more excited for WonFes.
>>5783814
i saw armoroid selling for 20 bucks on a shop and thought i would get him when i walk back from the mall... someone got him before i did
BTW i love the villains one, especially acid worm
>>5783828
You reminded me to post this.
>>5783803
Oh it was this picture, I didn't see it because it wasn't colored.
Some Assemble Borg twitter pics I saw that was interesting.
That snake body looks amazing.
