I found an Aquaman head while I was out and about today, and discovered that the Mighty Mini heads are perfectly scaled for Mega Bloks minis. Only problem is the neck hole isn't large enough, but a little work to scoop it out won't hurt much.

This didn't seem that popular of a set. I don't know why- the ship is really cool, you get MC, Cortana, and the Didact. I got it mostly for the Didact, since I already had the previous Cortana, but the build for the Broadsword was pretty fun.

My Broadsword's Master Chief came with a missing leg, MB replaced it and there were no other parts missing. I don't know about the set being less popular but I would guess a reason could be less "playability" for older collectors. Kids will love swooshing it around and firing the missiles at things but it's not very conducive to battlescape dioramas and photo ops.
It's also a lot less iconic than many other Halo vehicles, if I had to pick between it and say the Sabre for shelf display I'd definitely go with the Sabre, heck even the Seraph is more notable to me but then again I haven't touched Halo 4-5 yet (and I'm not sure I ever will, 343 are bastards).

yeah i forgot about the splitscreen as i dont know anyone that plays halo anymore (I did love me some halo 3 splitscreen though). But c'mon doing one thing wrong and then you outright hate them, seems a little harsh, especially when its not entirely their fault (largely but not entirely), it was at least partly because the xbox one was weak.
Do you read the halo books or any of that extra stuff? i have really liked halo 4 + 5 because they are actually acknowledging a lot of stuff from it and having a bigger more connected story. I liked halo 4 multiplayer though i can definitely see why people didn't, But halo 5 multiplayer has been great and most people seem to agree, pesonally i'm liking it as much as halo 3, you should give it a go if you can get halo 5 cheap.

I've read all but the newest books, while I've enjoyed the additional lore I just feel the fight was finished at Halo 3. For me the splitscreen is a serious issue because me and my bro have played every Halo since the first that way, it reeks of a pathetic cash grab by forcing people to buy more xboxes and games to get that experience which is on top of the continuation of the franchise being a cash grab in the first place.
I probably will eventually play the campaigns just to see where the story went but that's about it, the multiplayer is dead to me if there's no local splitscreen. About the only thing 343 have done ok is the Anniversary Halo 2 in the MC Collection, but overall it's so buggy and caused me weeks of frustration with glitched achievements in the ODST campaign and they didn't include fucking Firefight...

Fair enough for someone thats really into splitscreen like you are i can see why you'd not be a fan of 343. I guess I gave them the benefit of the doubt about whether it was a cash grab as halo 5 has gotten tons of big updates and maps for free and everything else 343 has done they seem to be trying their best to make it as good as they possibly can, also i very much doubt that halo 6 will lack splitscreen seeing as how that is the only big negative i have seen brought up for halo 5.
Another reason its good they are making games is that if it stopped with halo 3 i doubt we'd still be getting halo mega bloks.

I know what you mean but in the legendary ending of halo 3 you do already see chief heading to requiem, which he arrives at in halo 4, plus we get to have linda (best spartan), kelly (second best spartan) and fred in the games which would never happen unless chief was leading them.
Also i always thought from how much the forerunners were talked about in the books that there would be something more about them in the games which is whats happening in 4 and 5.
You said you might play the campaigns of 4 and 5 one day, if you do, read the forerunner trilogy of books before halo 4 (or at least a summary) it will make a lot more sense if you do.

A lot of people use the Scarlet Witch AoU fig to put on their Ladybloks, I've done that and it's alright, but she's got a lot of hair that limits articulation.
I know they did figs in the same scale (and, presumably, with the same head joints) for Guardians, so I'd bet there's probably a Gamora head you could do this with, too.

There's a glitch that allows you to wield them, and I believe there was a Dual-Wielding elite in Combat Evolved. They're also shown using them in the comics and other media

I cannot say enough how impressed I am with the Destiny figures and designs. They feel like a "step up" from the CoD figures, the same way the CoD figures generally feel like a "step up" from the Halo ones (until recently, at least).
Warlock is an awesome figure, and could work as a "fantasy" spellcaster just by swapping the sci-fi helmet out.
Makes me wish they'd get a big license deal with Bethesda even more. Elder Scrolls figures using this "magic effect" block in different colors would be great.

The Warlock's neat, though the micro-figs seems to be made of a plastic that's slightly more rubbery than last year's. Not sure why.
And I was able to pull the candy Elite with Sarge. Just feel around for a bag with 2 figs. And the green Copperhead Spartan has girl-boobs, so woohoo for my first lady Spartan.

I'm assuming you've not played the game, but they're called the Fallen, and those guys are the Captain-class guys. They seem to come in three sets; The two small sparrow sets (that come with a Captain, a Guardian, and a small personal vehicle for the guardian. I think they're supposed to be $15 or whatever.) And then one comes with the fuck-huge spider tank set, which is like $70.

Halo Wars, Halo 3, and Reach have my favorite Sanghelli designs but I certainly would not mind them being remade, especially considering how dated the original figures are on both the Spartans and Elites.
I also saw the NMPD set at work yesterday, the Brutes look pretty good in the bubble window and if you wanted a bunch of Canon fodder humans it's gunna be a good idea to get it.

I've always been a LEGO guy. When I was a kid my parents got me a few Mega Bloks sets and in comparison they were garbage.
Mega's improved quite a bit but their blocks still definitely feel like they're of a lower quality than Lego. If it weren't for the awesome minifigures I wouldn't care for Mega Bloks at all.

For me, a cod mini fig fan, not all the vehicles look "organic".
I just don't like seeing an unnecessary dot where surfaces should be flat.
The mini figures can be posed in such a human way that those small things take away from the emmersion. I know, they are toys.
There are some vehicles that are ok like the sidecar motorbike, the drone that comes with the dog, there's the mini tank drone. There's also the seal personal diving craft.

You'd be better off buying appropriately sized model kits and toys.
The CoDBloks minifigs are about 1/32nd scale, the vehicles are 1/24. They look good next to 1/32nd figures, like Transformers, but they can't really interact with them very well, can't ride in them or anything like that.

The reason why I got into cod figs is that I was try to play a 40k game, but the damn pieces were so small and I just couldn't find the time to construct and paint.
Then I went to the store found these damn things that were so pose able and detailed that I cracked out on them. They were like mini gi joes with the kungfu action grip.
Yeah they were much larger than the 28mm but the customization on the fly!

Found the 2nd wave of Halo Heroes today, was just going to get Forge and Romeo when I noticed the Oceanic's BR is a new design (with awesome color scheme on fig and gun) and the Scout's AR has shark teeth like the old H3 flamethrower, couldn't resist. Feels like they could've done Forge's face a bit better but human faces have never been their strong point eh.

There was only one Romeo in the mostly full display case, there were a a few Series 1 mixed in too. Overall they didn't have much at that particular Walmart, overwhelmingly TMNT stuff really.

I think my favorite part of the truck and Jorge set is the advertisement on the ruins for a civvie Warthog, nice touch. Not sure how I feel about the Wraith's new look, I'm usually slow to embrace change heh.
Best to start with the biggest I guess, them sore fingers will handle a small set at the end better than a large one.

I know I'm in the minority here but for me the definitive John-117 came in the Floodgate Anniversary set. The faded olive compared to all the dark green Spartans previously seen in the line really set him apart, if MB were to release a newer version with the same coloring and armor I'd grant it equal status but we'll see.

Finished the Wraith, definitely more finicky than the Scorpion but really REALLY nice.
Was overall a bigger pain in the ass to build though, lots of internal building.

I have all the ODSTs except Mickey and seeing that he's in the NMPD Pelican set that I've opted to pass on I guess my squad will remain incomplete. I wish they'd made a better Rookie fig, the colors just feel off but he's the most generic of the group so he can be substituted easily enough.
Of Noble Team I have Jorge, Emile and Noble 6 in the newer figs, I'll get Kat eventually but they'll have to re-release Carter and Jun if I'm going to have a full team. It's not a huge priority for me though, I've slowed down significantly in collecting the newer waves and while they still interest me greatly it's harder to justify the expense and storage space. Hopefully I can free up some floor space for a nice epic-scale setup, been far too few and far between.
