And here's the "final" product, fresh out of the sink. The downside of removing only part of a side's printing is that the abrasion leaves a noticeable mark that clearly shows where the protective tape was.

Luckily, a couple minutes of vigorous rubbing with a "sweat-wicking" shirt polishes the abraded surface and makes it almost indistinguishable!

Like a few other people in this thread, I built an army of pizza workers. I only got one CMF before they finally disappeared from my area, so I was really happy to find them in the build-a-minifig bins at the MoA. Now I just need to get a few hats and we'll be ready for business!

/toy/ Soldiers,

I love Spider-Man, and I love Iron Man.

If you had to choose one, which hero has more fun sets? I want to collect both heroes' costumes, but I can only afford 1. What do?
>>
>>5686164
Spider Man. Plus when it comes to suit variations his figs actually have major differences unlike the iron man figs.
>>
>>5686164
Iron Man vs. Ultron is a cheap set if you just want an Iron Man, or Hulk Buster Smash if you want a decent set to go with him. There are lots of variants for Iron Man's different suits, but not as many versions of Spider-Man.
>>
>>5686164
>>5686168
Not to mention that if you are a completionist, there is one IM figure (shitty comic con exclusive. Printed head "helmet" versus seperate headpiece.) that you probably will have a hard time finding, and when/if you do, well......

Last time I saw one listed on ebay it went for over $12K.

Other figures that might give you issue are Iron Patriot (really bad prices) and Silver Centurion (also pretty expensive, glad I have an extra still sealed, put away for a rainy day/once in a lifetime trade)

Im pretty sure theres a couple spodermuns that are also just as bad, but not too sure, only just getting into collecting him now.
>>
>>5686168
The summer Spider-Man waves are making me hype as fuck, but as it stands right now, I have more Iron Man suits than Spidey costumes.

I have Heartbreaker, Iron Patriot, Silver Centurion, and a Mark 6 from that polybag.

I only have one Spider-Man costume.

>>5686171
I'm inclined for Iron Man because I can easily make a Hall of Armor for him, but I don't have a Tony Stark minifg for it. But Spider-Man's shit looks fucking way cooler than Iron Man.

I just can't decide ;_;
>>
>>5686174
I think there is only three rare spiderman figs and those are all CC exclusives. One of them is based off of the amazing spider man suit and the other two have had some sort of public release in some way. The other two exclusives are venom spiderman and classic spider woman. Venom's print ended up being used for the venom they released.

Once you get into third party and chink releases, you can make a pretty fucking impressive hall of armor. Also there have been a few chink sets released to go with that idea, like tony starks workshop and the armor removal "pods", not to mention hulkbuster sized sets (which there are three seprate chinese versions plus the official one, pic related is one, only posted as an example, not a shitpost or reaction to anything guys.)

My only complain with chinese iron man figs is two fold.

They can sometimes suffer from "long neck" syndrome (I think the....peg....hole? inside the helmets is too long, making part of the neck and even head stick out farther than normal. Get some chinese junk heads and file down the neck and its not noticeable.

And the other thing is "high faced stark" syndrome. The printings for his face are too high on the head. Easy enough replacement though, especially if you are just displaying them and they arent active, use a blank head.

I can tell you how to check for yourself if you'd like to look.

bricklink part # 20377c00pb03 is a swoosh skirt and legs for minidolls. But it is all printed up and in maybe a lime base color. Lets say you want the same style with different print or a different color. Take off the letters from the end. Everything after the first 'c' is replaced with an asterisk, then a dash, then a second asterisk. It will look like 20377*-* when you're done. Throw that in the search bar and you can see all the color variants of that mold. Some times you can get away with just adding a single asterisk, but sometimes you get other things in the search. Look at these two links below.

Looking at the piece, all the printing seems to be on outward-projecting surfaces, so heresy should be easy.

It's interesting that a lot of the CMFs have a very strong surface coat but relatively weak printing once you break up the surface coat, compared to older figs that have a relatively weak surface coat but a very strong printing. The pizza torso took a little while to get at, but once it started coming off, it came off really quickly. Meanwhile the REAL HUMAN BEAN jacket took a lot more abrasion despite being 10+ years old.

>>5686298
>Slice of life LQ about pizza delivery workers when?
It'll have to wait until after the slice-of-life about the office workers game I've got planned. And at least a couple more games. After last week's cracklink fix, I told myself I wasn't going to start any new games until I wrapped up at least one ongoing game for every new one that I want to launch. Right now I've got at least seven ongoing storylines.

>not to sound autistic, but how do you store them?

The minifigs that are part of ongoing games are usually kept together in bags with all the other characters for that specific game. Everything else gets broken down and stored by color (torsos), printed/plain/nonstandard (legs), standard smiley/non-standard (heads), arms (some with hands attached), and loose hands. The heads are grouped by type, so I've got a stick of mustache dudes, a couple sticks of ladyfig heads, etc. I did a part count of my torsos a couple months ago, which is how I know I have 400+. Not sure if I have enough legs to pair with all of them, however, so if I tried to put all the torsos to use at once I might have to cheat and use dress slopes for a lot of them.

there's one plane from 2016
a hospital and ambulance in 2012
one fucking polybag each for 2007 and 2009
the only actual medical line was in 2006
is it just not profitable or something because I want my fucking ambulances
>>
>>5686680

>>
>>5686607
>The platform is huge but that interior needs a shitload of work for my autistic taste.

It could use more depth, but it's certainly wide enough. Mirroring it so that there are two platforms, one on each side, doubling the interior space would be great. Even better if you can add an elevated walkway.

>>5686684
The last hospital was pretty decent, I have it. But yeah, there's not much medical because it's not very "playable" - Police and Firemen are much more active and thus take up much of the City line.
>>
>>5686674
Well then I have one other idea that will look a tad silly, but the pros are a thin paddle and an almost correct shape when you look at it from above. If you take the 44728 bracket and put a jumper on the top you can then put a bar into the jumper's open stud. Might be what you want.

It's speculated that we're getting a hospital, based on the new crutches and head-bandage pieces from the CMF Clumsy Guy, and some other piece I can't remember right now. Plus there are already syringes and Friends medical pieces in production. Now's the right time for an EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES theme.
>>

>Mirroring it so that there are two platforms, one on each side
I don't know if I want to do that. I might have a split-level thing going on, where the entrance to the station is on regular ground level and I'll make up the difference in roof area with extra parts.

If I weren't building shit right now, I would be cooking it up in LDD. Maybe later.

It looks better without the 2x2 round, but otherwise not too bad. Overall, looks like the oar is still the best solution, so I'll just use sticky-tack if I need to stick a pizza to it at a non-horizontal angle.

Thanks for the suggestions, everybody!

Here are a few quick ideas in LDD if you're still brainstorming yet. The round piece is the shield used for CMFs, I think there's a version without any printing on it and it should fit a newer 2x2 round tile with an "O" on the bottom.

Most of the price of the Nurse is that damn 2x2 chart tile. I lucked into mine (sans tile) when I traded for a lot of CMFs. Kind of surprised LEGO hasn't done another CMF nurse yet. A maternity ward nurse with a recolored papoose baby seems like a no-brainer CMF.

Well, I started thinking about it last weekend. I keep seeing all these guys like Jang who build a fuckhuge city spanning a giant table. Maybe starting out I will do this with a small table, but I think my end goal can beat the fuck out of that with minimal cost.

I figure if I do what I'm talking about, I can instead have say two cities and their outlying suburbs, giving me perceived travel, more modeling options and more purpose for running the trains.

Wuj Włajage: One of the most clever Wojtuś. He knows a lot about Lego Universes and how they work. Soon will have own Show: Ask the Wuj.

I think it is the main female lead, the imperial robot they come across and a random stormtrooper.

FFFFF- I need this. What a time not to have a Lego store nearby.

Maybe interested in the pilot, and at least the face on the pilot isn't fucking horrifying. Robot is interesting, but I won't be paying 22€ for it.

Still waiting for Boba

That's the best fleshie head we've gotten. I hope any other human figures get good heads too.

Also that droid is really cool.

When you guys pack a set you've built and you plan on keeping it together, how do you store the pieces? Am I the only one who reverse engineers the set and re-bags them as if it were a new set?

>and you plan on keeping it together

So I feel this is a bit overpriced, but a store near me has it at 33% off. Is it a good set?

i usualy remove any small/hard to find/usefull parts, then the remaining blocks sit around in large chunks in 'the tubs' until i need a part from them.

The jet's a solid build, and the helicopter's okay. Do you want the minifigs? Do you like the design?
>>

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I think DC's Big Three in one set is neat. Is there a jet just like that in the movie?
