I think I figured out a potential for the next "wars" line. I doubt it's legit, but it's at least a thought.
What if it's something like the Duocons, Overlord and Magmatron? Transformers who split their alt modes? As now we know Overlord is coming, and if this is the case, he could be the flagship figure, like Devastator and Fort Max. The way the gimmick can work is you can swap alt modes to make a semi-custom robot. For example, a car becomes the legs and the jet becomes the torso, but you could make them universal for the figure class, and they can be swapped around.
Like I said, I highly doubt it, but it's just a thought. Overlord might just be one of the last Titan Returns figures.

Even Brave Max, who is one order of magnitude larger, would be 'only' about 250 meters.

- Limbs are the same, except Drillhorn which uses takara Nosecone mold
- instead of being Sky Linx, the center dude is Jallguar with an HEAVILY retooled Motormaster
- Leozack is a torso mounted legend class (I guess legends thundercraker mold)

I'm looking forward to it more than Combiner Wars. Combiner Wars kind of felt like a let down with all the repaints, they weren't exciting, and the combined forms were a bit lackluster in a few areas, and a lot of molds sacrificed things for the combined form. I feel like it's different here, as the 3rd modes for some, be it a base or a jet, it doesn't compromise the other modes.
Take Galvatron for example. I think the jet mode looks horrible, and while I don't like the obtrusive kibble, it doesn't compromise the other alt modes.
Guessing this is the best place to post this - I'm looking to put together a display of Autobot and Decepticons from G1 - is Masterpiece my only option that's available? I don't really understand the toylines, just want to put together a tribute to my childhood.

Anyone else that'd love a line of this? Legend sized Autobots vs. Voyager/Ultra/Leader Decepticons? I've been intrigued by such an idea ever since MP-3 Starscream was released and aimed towards realism. It made me wonder how a "realistic" scaled line would be.
Imagine, Autobots that have to actively struggle to beat a single Decepticon.Combiners would be a necessity to meet decepticons at eye-level, like the Micromaster combiners. Certain decepticons would be vehicles closer to the size of cars, like armored vehicles or tanks, but still larger, and could maybe combine with carrier vehicles to reach the standard Decepticon size. Transforming Autobot base-bots that transform into garage bases and similar hide-outs.

People are just naturally ungrateful and nostalgic. I keep hearing people cry about how much better things where in 2010, but back then everyone was whining about distribution, Takara having better paint, and so on, the same we do now. And it was the same in the UT days, too.
Right now the only really big misstep I'd say about his tenure is outright ignoring Beast wars on an anniversary year, but in all honesty, it doesn't sell, and the fandom has changed a lot. Before the 07 movie BW was recent enough that most fans where familiar with it; now with all the new shows and comics new fans don't revere it as much.
