I'd bring my blue bull moose as the ambassador. I love simplistic figs.

Dude, youre using the version of my picture with the fucked white line on it, heres the fixed one for future use my man.

Oh, guess you're right. I was looking at it on a phone when I posted that. The blur in the back threw me off.
is anybody interested ib Lego animation?
I want to do this, but do not feel skilled enough. Made 3 small movies now. Did not have even tripod or remote shutter

Minifig ambassador of Brickania reporting in
>>5590297
It's an honor to server for your sideways land sir!
>>5585623
So I just bought myself those baby dragons from the Elves line this morning. Not even into the series but Jesus fuck they are just the cutest little things. The Miku one in particular has one of my favorite color schemes since she reminds me of the Seacons from Transformers and just looks so vibrant and poppy.
Anyone else loving the little buggers? I never really cared for any of the weird "cutesy" animals that the Friends themes have been doing but these guys just bring me back to when the Mega Bloks Dragons lines were in full swing and I just adore them.
>>5590323
You gotta get Ultimate Lance when he comes out for that arctic Batman, the trans-white armor will look great.
I love how the armor pieces seem to fit perfectly with superheroes and their logo's.
Now we just need Power Girl and her cleavage window...
I don't suppose anyone has the instructions for this thing, do they? I threw the magazine out like an idiot, and I can't figure out the bottom section/exhaust.
>>5590474
wish it was the full size horse.
>>5590511
I'm hoping they do a polybag generic hoverhorse with a robo-knight on it.
Anyone collect Orient Expedition sets here? I always loved them (early 2000s)

>Finish building first MOC
>Get near the end of it
>Missing 6 of one piece
>2 of another
>Have 6 too many of a third piece
>Also left with 5 random "one offs"
I thought I ordered exactly how many pieces I'd need, not sure how I've ended up with this.
OK /lg/.
Which head looks better? Left or right?
And yes, I am aware that his right leg printing may be off. I only paid a dollar for him and am happy with everything else about him.
>>5590846
I like the left one but it's up to you which design of deadpool you like, left is oldschool, right is newer
my mom has been threatening to give away all mine and my sisters childhood shit. So I went back home and went through stuff i hadn't seen in 14 years, most of it was junk... except for this beauty. Couldn't find the body or the rf wheel but the V8 and the 5 speed are all i care about.
Where can I find the nexo knights mag?
Does anyone know if Modok's head is in lego LDD? I want to try making a better body for him before I commit to buying the figure.
>>5590846
i like right because it has more personality
>>5590993
Forgot the image!
>>5590846
left all day my nigger classic deadpool is the best variant
>>5590993
use the new knight bot torsos from nexo knights, you could brick build some limbs
>>5591007
I was thinking of making more of a chair for him, make him a lil' bulkier.
Need to do some tests in LDD with the head though before I order parts since I have no Lego at the moment.
>>5591003
Yeah, thats what I went with. Modern movie outfit with classic mask.
>>5590972
>Where can I find the nexo knights mag?
Buy a copy from Polandbro
>>5591010
you could use a purple torso and arms and brick build the chair instead of putting a leg part
>That janitor minifigure from series 15
He looks pretty sweet with the fortune teller's hairpiece.
Straight outta Spinal Tap. Except he doesn't stuff.
>>5590995
>>5590998
>>5591117
Decided I'd go for a fully brick built figure, atleast then he can be huge!
First pass of the model, mostly going off how I remember him looking, going to do a second pass once I get together more reference material.
I can tell I'll be fucked for colours when I go to build this thing.
>>5591146
When I make him IRL the purple 2x1s will be replaced with single legs from the original figure.
If anyone can suggest improvements feel free!
>>5591148
the top anti-stud on loose legs is kinda flimsy- i'd recommend attaching the legs on the lower half
>mfw unable to afford a classic space set because people either bid to much a week before the auction ends or it's way overpriced.
At least I have 1 spaceman of each color.
>>5586368
Does anyone have the set in pic related?
Post pics of your classic sci-fi sets
>>5591213
I feel you, my man.
bricklink has posted that monster army set up for $20. surely that's not how much it will go for retail?
>>5591323
If it is anything like the other army builder sets, it'll be $15.
>>5591360
15 is much more reasonable. I'll probably be buying at least 3 packs so I can make a posse for Lavaria.
>>5586368

>>5591440
hey man, that bear's all right. fuck you
>>5591440
Holy fuck I just saw him on the box and about pissed my pants. He looks so out of place.
Last week an anon asked me for advice on shooting minifigs, so I put together this simple guide.

2 of 2 but I might make a third one later

>implying soulless black eyes, all-white eyes, or the hollow studs would be better
>>5591461
>>5591462
Neat!
Sad thing is all I have to work with is an older Motorola Photon 4G smart phone, thus why my pics are never done well. I know, I can probably help alleviate some of it with something like photoshop, but sadly I dont have it installed and have ZERO experience with it.
Actually working on getting a larger space to take pics and a lightbox though, and there was some talk of my GF possibly getting her brothers old DSLR camera, so there is hope at least.
Either way man, big fan of your work, even if mine may have possibly annoyed you as well in the past. We all gotta start somewhere, right?
I did a thing.

>>5591509

>>5591499
>those pitch black suits
what are they going to a goddamn funeral?
A few months ago, an Anon posted about how when he was a kid, he use to imagine that minifigs were kinky, sexual deviants. He spoke about how he'd imagine the minifigs on boxes and in catalogs/magazines were up to kinky shit and that was the reason most of them were smiling.
He gave an example using the recently released Ferry set (60119). He said that if he saw that as a kid, he'd have thought that the ferry captain had fucked the woman during the crossing and was now smiling because he had got her number and was looking forward to fucking her again later.
So if that Anon is still lurking, I just have a quick message.
FUCK YOU!
I can't look at sets like >>5591409 the same anymore.
I saw the RV and I thought that's a great set, then I read you post and from then on when ever I've seen the RV I can't help but think that there's some shota shit going on. That some Lego woman has either kidnapped some random boy, or taken her own son out on the road so that she can fuck him.
Serieusly fuck you for making my mind dirtier then what it was.
>>5591529
I had to do with what they gave me.
Or maybe they're actually going at Jeb! funerals.
>>5591532
You are too impressionable and sensitive. Like, that post was pretty funny, but not memeworthy or memorable.
Also /ss/ is be/ss/t. Shoutout to /ll too.

>Step 1: Have custom built model
>Step 2: Accidentally break said model
>Step 3: Put model back together again
>Step 4: Have several pieces left that don't seem to belong on the model
>Step 5: Return to step 2 until you have infinite Lego
Everything I know has taught me this should be possible.
>>5591553
you posted this in the last thread, now fuck off
>>5591465
but black soulless eyes would suit a murder machine just fine
Besides that using any sort of 1x1 tile for eyes make that body look tiny, like it's for a cub.
>>5591383
I was gonna make a diorama of the caveman scene. I was waiting for the mystery machine to go on sale but once it did my local walmart suddenly sold all of them :(
>>5591553
I'm pissing.
So I ordered some stuff on BL 2 months ago and paid that same day. It was "shipped", or at least marked as such, a week later.
4 weeks ago I sent a message to the seller, asking for a tracking number, which he claimed to have included in the shipping, as I was yet to receive my order. I got no reply, so I messaged him again the following week.
I sent a 3rd message last week, having still not heard back from him, let alone received my order. This message was brisk and upfront, informing him that if I had not received my order or at the very least a reply, within the next week, then I would be leaving negative feedback.
It's been a week now since I said that message and still nothing. He's logged into BrinkLink a number of times since my first message, but each one of my messaged say they have not been read, including the last which I marked as high priority.
Is there anything else I can do? Would it be appropriate to file a Non-Shipping Seller Alert? What will that involve? And would it be reasonable to file the NSS and follow through with my threat/promise/warning and leave negative feedback?
My loot.
>>5591631
I would just file the claim and leave negative feedback.
Two months is way too long, and the fact that he is outright avoiding you means something is up.
>>5591532
Better yet, have a threesome including the bear.
What's the cheapest way to get theese knuckle pieces?
>>5591474
>still reposting shit
>>5591676
that color or in general?
>>5591678
sorry...
What's the difference between the '98 samurai helmets and the Ninjago samurai helmets?
>>5591650
Just checked his feedback, before trying to post my ownand I see he's already had his selling privilege revoked.
I've filed the NSS, but I can't seem to post feedback, which I assume is because of the revoked selling privilege.
Thank fuck it was only a small order, under $10.
>>5591724
You can still post feedback for someone with revoked selling priviledges. Most likely you just can't take certain actions at the moment, while the NSS is being evaluated.
>>5591681
I wish they were in black for this set.
>>5591735
I actually tried to post the feedback before filing the NSS, but I kept getting an error message.
>>5591676

>>5591720
>>5591786

>>5591532
You can't blame Anon, Anon, he probably grew up with Paradisa.
An entire theme dedicated to Porn Sets.
Good times.
>>5591833
On a side note, how did these rapey looking Dolphins never make their way into more sets?
>>5591836
My biggest gripe about Friends/Elves sets is that they have those mutated, cartoonish looking animals.
>>5591836
I hate this dolphin. It's clearly a Belivile animal not System. More round and cheeky.
We will never get prober blocky dolhin or that amaing animals that are in Lego Worlds like squirrel, gorilla or giraffe...
>>5591146
>>5591148
I think the model's pretty close to completion, I'm planning on rebuilding him to make better use of certain parts.
Again, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
>>5591868
the arms are a little bit rough, but i cant think of a way to make them better, so im just bitching
the feet are ALOT better though, and i like the base change.
>>5591327
That was my second LEGO set. Still got the parts, somewhat scratched after nearly 30 years, though.
I had my first day at the Lego Store last night! They mostly just had me greet people and get the hang of things. I did help some guests with my Lego knowledge, which felt great!
Sorry for the blogpost, but I've wanted to work at the Lego Store forever.
If any employees here have some tips, I'd love to hear 'em. I wanna be the best Lego employee ever.

Also found this nice pic while doing research.
FYI: Target's Cartwheel app currently has 15% several Lego Star Wars sets.
>>5591964
15% off, damnit.
Did this crown piece ever get released? It looks nicer than the crown helmet for when your king isn't actively in battle...
>>5591462
>>5591461
My man.
>>5590846
As with any Marvel figure, I always love a classic look like on the left. That's like the face emblem logo. But the right fits the figure body a lot better.
Also found this other pic.
>>5591973
Isn't this from that one 90's Deadpool comic?
The one with the alien of ultimate happiness or something like that?

>Macy in flower swimsuit minifigure when?
>>5592141
macy in flower what now?
>>5592179
I found a Nexo Knights book in store today called Eternal Heroes.
It was basically the same story as the show but it had additional chapter with knights going on vacation.
Macy was wearing light red one-piece swimsuit with floral pattern.
>>5592104
oh shit that most mysterious of seaniggers is still the best.
I just now revamped my cthulhu-bot so it doesn't feature the blue tones anymore. Looks more coherent this way. Also added a new sort of posable wings
>>5592184
got any pics?
>>5592184
>Macy was wearing light red one-piece swimsuit with floral pattern.
PICS
>>5591868
Added detal to the back, lowered the hair and built some stubby arms.
Can anyone give me any tips on making small, articulated arms? It's the main thing stopping me from buying the bricks at this point.
>>5592203
>>5592206
I couldn't buy it today but I may do it on saturday.
Other knights were wearing matching hawaiian shirts and shorts (except for Axl who was wearing only grey shorts).
They went on boat cruise and landed on this guy.
>>5592069
It really is helpful, LQ. Here's a shot I took with your guide in mind.
Sooo noobiest question here? Is it worth buying from aliexpress or am I getting severly ripped off?
Because those prices and shipping fees look very enticing
>>5591394
I am almost inspired to try and copy the one on the right.
>>5592284
You're buying bootlegs that will hurt your hands to assemble, are manufactured with no oversight for toxicity, and don't look like genuine Lego parts.
That said, if you realize all this and don't mind supporting slave labor, go for it. I bought some on a lark, since five bucks is five bucks.
>>5591409
this summer, probably around july or something like that
Going to the Lego store in early May. Will wave 2 of Nexo Knights be out by then?
>>5592361
Nope.
So, uh, anybody have the King's Mech and Lance's Mecha Horse that can take a picture of the mecha mounted on the horse? I'd like to see how they compare scale wise...
>>5592351
I was more thinking of buying the Revan minifig since buying him on Bricklink is the only way of getting him now and he costs a bit much.. . but yeah its a shame since i can inly buy from bl and shipping is killing me
>>5591789
Arigato, anon-san
>>5592284
As someone who has bought a bunch from them, allow me.
Great prices.
Parts DO kind of have a different feel to them (although ive seen several people say you can wash them, its almost like they have a film on them from production) and you CAN run into some that dont fit together well (These were a set where its like "4 super hero figs and their useless confusing choices for vehicles, like captain america and his....go-kart of justice...."), but one of the bigger sets I got, a knock-off v-wing, the parts fit snugger than actual lego does, so your mileage may vary.
Colors may be a bit off. Depends on manufacturer really, but the good news is a lot of it is so cheap, you can afford to risk it a bit.
MOST of the single figs are perfect. Great prints, sturdy as fuck, and tons of characters and versions that NEVER got an official release and probably never will. Only figures I bought that were off were a set of trans-colored minifigures, THOSE were definitely brittle feeling and their arms fall off if you move them too much. Also any iron mans you get, they can either suffer from long neck syndrome, and for some reason china can NOT print tony starks face right. Always too high up on the head.
Shipping can and WILL take forever. Youre probably looking at at LEAST a month wait, but its the price we pay for getting knockoffs all day.
>>5592361
>living in a country where you have to play out Lego store visits two months in advance
Holy fuck anon, I feel so bad for you. I have two stores in 20 minutes driving distance of me.
>>5592411
>>5592418
AH, I can tell you for SURE the Revan is worth it, as that was one of the first figs I bought from Ali. payed about .80 cents for him, and he was PERFECT, EXCEPT the blade for his light saber was off, it was a MUCH lighter red. Replaced it with a standard lego blade and he was good to go!
>>5592421
>mfw a LEGO store is close enough that I go there at least once a week
>>5592421
I live in the United States, I just happen to be in the middle of Florida so the closest Lego store to me is the one at Disney World, which we visit about every 6 months. So I do my Lego store visits during our Disney vacations.
>>5592421
I live in the same state as a Lego store, but it's still five hours away. And it's just the MoA one.
>>5592435
Silly anon, that speaker won't do you any good in space.
>>5592448
The MoA one is pretty nice, though.
Wish the LEGO stores were like they were back in like, the 90's/early 2000s, though. Feels like they were cram-packed with stuff. Now everything is just along the walls...
Awwwwwwwwwww yis.
Its time.
>Just blew $70 getting the missing parts I needed for finishing a UCS Falcon
Well at least I'll be making it back, but I had to order from some European stores which I don't usually do. Probably should go grab one of those reproduction stickersheets from ebay too.
>>5592454
where'd you get the crow robot there?
>>5592540
Theres a guy that makes MST3K bots here locally. You can find them on ebay, he does batches of both kits and pre-assembled ones. They are pretty expensive, but so fucking worth it if you are a fan, and yes, they are fully functional puppets. I swear, the guy had access to the original at some point, and I am pretty sure he even got one of his letters read on an early episode of MST3K back in the day (How often is Ypsilanti Michigan ever mention in ANYTHING?)
>>5592442
Thats my closest store too! Make sure to find a friend who has a Disney annual pass for that 10% discount. All you have to do is show them an annual pass and they have a bar code behind the register they scan.
>>5592556
Apparently my Seasonal Pass counts for that discount, too, so it's pretty awesome. Downside: That discount applies BEFORE you get VIP points, so you get 10% less VIP points.
But whatever, I'm not gonna bitch about a discount.
>>5592552
They filmed the MST3K episodes about a 20 minute drive from where I live.
>>5592569

I think there's a lot of us MN guys around, really. I always hear people talking about the MoA LEGO store.
>>5592597
I'm from wright. I haven't been on 4chan that long so I haven't seen that but that's cool its strange to think theres bros near me
>>5592595
MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000) is an old show where the cast would riff on shitty old 50s, 60s, and 70s B-tier horror and sci-fi movies.
There were two main guys, Joel in the earlier seasons, and Mike in the later seasons. Basically, it was a skit show where one of the guys was stuck in space with a bunch of robots, and they would get sent really awful movies by goofy villains and they had to watch the shitty movies.
But they just sat around riffing the movies and making fun of how bad they were.
>>5592607
that doesn't sound very fun. its like watching someone talk while playing a video game and commentate on it
>>5592609
The thing is, you're not watching someone watch a movie
You're watching some watch a completely awful movie and make it relatively enjoyable
THAT takes some effort
>>5592609
These guys were actually good at it, though. And doing it some 20~25 years before video game commentators.
What is the chest piece named?

>>5592684
You're under the assumption he knew what the minifig was
>>5592687
Look up minifig hands. Find that color of hands in the list of things it's included in. Find that figure. Find that piece. Done.
>>5592687
I do. Just not the piece.
>>5591962
Why do the simpsons minifigs all look stoned?
Okay, this is officially awesome.
I redid the minifig guide from earlier. The images and text are a little cleaner, and I added a few things.

If anyone has specific things they would like illustrated in a third installment, let me know.
>>5593027
Lighting? Or do you just a lightbox?
>>5593031
>Lighting?
A pair of stand-up lights I got at a junk shop that have taken way too many falls each. I just knocked one of them over last weekend so I'm down to two working sockets.
Planning on getting some actually-brand-new ones this weekend.
>>5593047
I was going to ask for a zoomed out shot of your setup, how those baseplates and backdrop are arranged, but you beat me to it. thanks for the guide!
this is so satisfying.
i couldn't hold the camera, turn the drive train and shift gears but it's even better.
i have to get a motor and put a mirror underneath.
oh, and fully clean it.

>>5592727
Now we just need to see it riding the Mecha-horse and wielding the Clay sword.
>>5593262
I regretfully don't have either and can't afford them at the moment. Next month! King's Mech riding the Mecha Horse is 100% something I want to do, and I'm tempted to set up the King's Mech to dual wield the normal sword and Clay's sword.

I'm actually starting to work on a brickfilm. So the question is, how do you deal with the death of your party member?
What do you guys think of this little thing I am working on. Currently thinking of tiling the interior of the graveyard a bit more.
>>5593459
I like.
>>5592213
i think >>5591868 might be your best bet with arms
the problem with them being that at this scale is, the real biggest you can get an actual hand is the clamp you already used. so you're either going to use it, or do a simple mixel arm like either of these
(the dark grey on the blue mixel is a male tow ball, but the same piece exists in female, i just was too lazy to find one)
i personally would go with your earlier non towball option though, unless you really want him to have a range of motion/expression

Looking good. Maybe overkill on the streetlamps, though, and similarly you could perhaps add some additional, though not too extensive, wear and tear to the graveyard and road.

Make sure you advertise substitutions and repro labels appropriately. Fear the advanced autism of someone willing to drop dosh on a UCS Falcon.

Wow that's really awesome, anon. Makes me want to expand on my haunted house when I get the chance.

I've made the ambassadors residence.

What do I buy for Mr. Freeze?
Lego Dimensions Team Packs or Nexo Knights shit?
>>5593680
Nexo shit as the dimensions stuff is honestly a let down.
>>5593683
I dunno senpai, Doctor Who and Portal are really fucking neat-o.
Maybe the TARDIS set?
>>5593687
If you have the game then yeah those two are super worth it due to what they do in game but alone not so much. If you really thirst for a capaldi fig go for the actual ideas set plus it comes with smith as a bonus.
>>5593690
I have the game, and it's fun. But my compulsion for getting it is more OCD gotta get them all rather than getting it for the game itself, if that makes sense. I'm more worried about them running out of that shit and not having my game 100%. I even failed to capitalize on the 50% off fun packs they had + double VIP because I had bills to pay.
On the other hand, I love Nexo Knights, and all I have to get are Infernox Saves the Queen, Lance's Mecha Horse, Library, Fortrex, Ultimate Beast Master, Ultimate Robin, Ultimate Lavaria and Jestro's Mobile. I'm not too worried that these will run out soon since it's like, 3 months old or something.

Now if only someone would make an LDD for the Animated Series Batmobile, I'd love them forever.

Wow, my brain is stupid, but THANK YOU.
Incidentally, does anyone have some good Lego reaction images? I only have a few. (I have the Movie on DVD, if anybody wants me to capture some specific ones.)
>>5593700
Cannot unsee now.
>>5593807
God I hate that part of the lego website I tend to find a lot of the LDD files I have open to the public on there. One of the main reasons I don't give them out all willy nilly now but the worse part has to be there is no way to report them.
>>5593680
I'm going to buy the Friends tour bus and Doctor Who. If that doesn't add up to $75 after my employee discount, I'll get some Mixels.
>>5593811
Not slick enough, imo. Something's gotta be done about that hood. Here's an awesome TAS-mobile I found on Flickr a while back.
>>5593866
Well, I'm usually hanging out in here whenever I'm not running a game, so if you do remember, just ask here and I'll probably see it.

I made a few; their goodness is debatable.

King's mech is a bit big, think full grown man on a pony, and you'll have to modify them a little for the mech to not fall off.
>>5593459
dumb. it makes no sense for an haunted house to be in the same place as the graveyard just because lolspooky.
If you want a creepy structure to go with a graveyard it should be a church.
>>5593943
There are more mansions with private graveyards than there are graveyards next to churches, and the objectively best structure to go with a graveyard is a clown college.
