They're fun figures and the transformation gimmick is really solid and satisfying. While not as good as S.H. Figuarts they're lots of fun to tinker about and play with, and make great desktop toys. Also not as finicky as the Figuarts where you have to have a lot of parts to play with and keep track of, just the figure and the weapons and the armor.
Get the cheapest one (Orange Arms) and see for yourself. They look very awkward in photos but look great and feel great in hand.

I've never been interested in Sentai mech toys before, but this one seems just interesting enough for me, like they might actually have a somewhat involved style of transformation. It's like a bunch those wooden block men, and i love those things.
I also kinda like how this team doesn't have a pink and it has a girl as blue/guy as yellow. And red and blue being two thirds of Sun Vulcan is awesome too.

In the dream I got the set pulled out the Gosei Green key and looked at the helmet. Instead of having any sort of animal he just had a black curve and I was incredibly disappointed.

Don't have BB, but I have Kabuto and Mashin, and I prefer Mashin as a figure.
Kabuto has a finicky issue with the chest (the chest plates are articulated, doesn't really make that much of a difference and was pretty unnecessary imo), and the wristpegs Bandai decided to try out are pretty shit. They're not as poseable like the normal wrist pegs, but more importantly they're tight as hell because Bandai, for some reason, decided that it should be extra secure when it doesn't need to be. I recommend sanding them down a little, as swapping the hands might feel a little scary as the wrist joints themselves and the peg that connects it to the hand are thin. Don't want to be breaking a hand or what not, not that I've heard anyone do it personally.
Mashin doesn't really have many problems. He's a beaut.

The reason Sentai figuarts failed in the west is because besides Zyu,they bought over series that not enough people really gave a shit about. And by the time the Zyu releases came out, it was already following a string of not particularly well selling series. There's some bullshit about Power rangers fans being cheap. Nah,there's definitely a subset like that, but Rangers fans are obsessive to the point of monotony. When the Legacy morpher first came out, people bought 6 of them just to have each variation in display, plus one in box. Truth is, they didn't bother catering to the west at all; if they did, we would've gotten Ohranger/Zeo or Megaranger/InSpace(not particularly popular series in Japan) over. Instead they just bought over whatever other concurrent Japanese releases there were(Hurricanger/NinjaStorm and Boukenger/Operation Overdrive), the latter of which being one of the most maligned series in the western fandom.
They should've done other 90's series first, but instead they played it safe and targeted the Japanese market. They based their Sentai releases off Akiibaranger and popularity polls. That failed because the nostalgic salarymen they included in those polls aren't buying the damn toys.

Did anyone else here order the Lost Edition Ranger Key Set from CSToys? Have you received a shipping payment request?
I ordered it back when it was announced and paid for the items, but they said I would still have to pay shipping once it came out since they couldn't calculate shipping until they were sure of the size and weight. I still haven't heard anything from them and the set has been out for close to a week now. Thanks to Holiday Closures and the increased congestion of postal services I doubt I'll be seeing it until next year even if I get the request today.

They have Zord Builder ports, but they seem to be more to facilitate the Legacy Dino Megazord which was made from a $30 Zord Builder toy. The only problem with the Tigerzord is you have to pull the back tiger legs off to connect the Triceratops and Sabertooth Tiger on. I'd imagine once the Thunder Megazord comes out they'll combine like the original.

Also, I am a bit split on whether or not I want the alt forms in Ghost. Loved the base suits from the start, all of the current 3 of them. The alt forms are another story. The result is basically the same whether you turn at the hip or slightly below. Ghost has the joint seam along the armor. Drive's has nothing on his thighs, so the swivel is pretty close to the hip.

The human body doesn't have a joint to swivel in the thigh, it has a balljoint between the femur and hip which is why you can turn your leg. Well, I own Garren and Chalice. I've never seen the show. Amazon had him for ~30 bucks last year and I grabbed him with Another Agito and Gills. The latter two are pretty good, but Chalice is fantastic. I love the details and his overall design. Really unique, In my opinion. I also got Garren this year and he's sort of neat.

Not counting that you have to get a bike with Garren:
King Form > Blade > Leangle > Garren = Chalice
King Form is just huge. Still on the thin side, but the armor is big. Blade has the most accessories, but his head is pretty narrow. I dislike Garren's design the most, and by himself he's the most boring of the four. Leangle was wide as fuck in the show, so the figure's looks are up to you. It's still well made and handles very well. I love Chalice and think the figure looks great, but mine was loose and is lighter than the other three.
