the Mk2s are an oddity in the shinki line. usually repaints are exclusives, but for the Mk2s, the repaints (tempesta and lavina) were the general retail versions. the normal colors were sold only with battlemasters (and battlemasters Mk2, for the full arms package versions)

Just in case anyone wants to see how shinkis look inside them, as well as the back. They're 21 inches wide and 12 inches deep, less wide than I thought, and deeper than I thought, which means I have no idea where I'm going to put these things.

I also got this ballet studio from the same maker. Everything's plastic. Plan on making it a music studio, since I didn't have room for one of those in the dollhouse. The piano it comes with is nice, but it plays the most ungodly music that lasts a good 100 seconds every time you look at it funny.
Piano bench is also a little too short, I'll have to find some way to fix that.

Before I go looking for one, I noticed that Werkstra and the Waffesisters aren't quite a perfect match for the version 1 blank. How different are they? Noticeable, or pretty hidden when she's dressed?
I also had the thought of just grabbing an extra Picco Neemo body instead of a shinki blank. The head doesn't quite fit into the neck, and I'm waiting to widen it until I have a spare. Long shot here, but anyone with a Picco Neemo flesh color doll and the version 1 blank here that could tell me which is a better color match for shinkis like Werkstra?

That is correct. The CR codes are very specific, the packages don't make it easy to tell which flesh tone they are but that code will tell you exactly which one it is. The info in the list in the guide is taken directly from Konami's site.

Lavina comes in Fullarms flavor which has a bit more parts. Regular Strarf is also available in Fullarms but that was bundled with Battle Masters and will fetch more and/or be harder to find. And regular Strarf matches colors with the swimsuit body so that's a plus if you want that too.

The phone one or the picco neemo one?
If any of you can sew (or know someone who can), there's a pattern book that just came out with Picco Neemo patterns that will fit your girls. Its called Doll Coordinate Recipe For A Small Doll and its in Japanese, but theres step by step pictures so its very easy to follow even if you don't speak it. Its got a lot of casual clothes like tshirts, overalls, jackets, dresses, and underwear.

I have a copy but I have no scanner. If anyone does get hold of scans, it will help to know that the patterns are in three sizes, and the appropriate size to use is the small or S ones. The included patterns are: basic tshirt, basic shorts, simple drop waist dress, sailor dress or seifuku (same pattern, can be made into both), bloomers, bra/cami top (its supposed to be a pj top so the band is slightly wider than a normal bra, but that's simple enough to trim down), sleeveless shirt, puffy lace skirt, yoked tunic, overalls/salopette, letterman jacket, hoodie, short and long socks. Some of these are very easy and some might be a little hard if you are new to sewing so small.

So I wanted to get a second Shinki and I really like YDA. Was browsing Mandarake and I've found a few with "reproduction privilege head". I'm assuming this just means an exclusive extra like Fubuki's scarf right? Does anyone have pictures of the head as the pic only shows it from the top.

My habit of giving every single one of my shinkis custom clothes continues. The newest wave of girls has mostly been kitted out. A nurse cape for my second Brightfeather (named Bridget) a spooky shawl for Vespellio, A veil for Graffias (I'm considering giving her a skirt made of the same material to complete the harem girl look) and a garter for my Maryceles Lemuria (Muriel) as well as a hat that matches Celery's.
I haven't had any ideas for what to do with the titty monsters on the left though. Any suggestions?

An alternate way I've seen it done is print an outline decal and paint over it with white using a very tiny brush, seal that on the decal sheet, then apply. Here's another vector if you want to give that a shot.

Finished my Gourai with the exception of the aforementioned left shoulder decal and some tiny details like the gun barrel and some sensor bits.
Going to work on those for the Kotobukiya contest but not much is going to change from now and then anyways.
I definitely can't see myself playing with her like a shinki however. I didn't think paint transfer would happen so easily and I put on multiple clear coats to try and prevent that too. If anything it'd be easy to fix with a plastic eraser, but it's still a tad annoying.
Also, she's surprisingly difficult to keep standing without using those tank treads..

That's why I haven't entered (also I'm not very good), but its understandable.
I finally got some of those plastica outer skin clothes. Gourai looks nice in them. I'm waiting on the resin option parts which come with a complete hair piece and Materia for the torso and upper arms. I think those will give a lot more options.

Does the pegs go all the way into the headpiece? if the pegs arent going all the way consider shaving off or sanding the pegs, just dont go crazy and shave off too much.

Welp, I just paid for my order of a bunch of Shinki clothes and a strike witches garage kit.
Had a pretty great conversation with the seller about shinkis and how much we like them too. Google translated throughout the entire conversation and it seemed to work fine.

Man, it worked out pretty okay, like most stuff I tried in terms of gluing and articulation and assembly tools works, but I fucked up with the main body's lames.
I also used too much glue to hold the lames down on the aluminium, so now I can't get them off anymore.
