Well, my order from Nistuff just came in. Now i've got some outlanders with my A/V Robots. I'm actually surprised how fun the mini-figures from the accessory pack are. Still trying to figure out building technicues to get a proper taste of the glyos as a building system. I'll post pics of my loot later when i get around to it. Too busy pulling these guys apart right now.
This helmet works out surprisingly well on the A/V Robot. Can't even really see the transparent head under there.
The aforementioned minifigures. Surprisingly fun to hold, although can't really get any dynamic poses with these guys. The mint green is a refreshing color though. Got the crimian (?) as a freebie.
The new outlander powersquad, now with shitty partsswaps! The light teal elder outlander had one bitch of a hipjoint, had to stretch it out and cram the leg in with pliers. Curse my loose ligaments and overextending thumbjoints! I love my some teal colorways though. This shit is my jam with the ultra bronze.

Godbeast hit social media late last night and today. It looks like he is selling out of a lot of mushi. No price drop of course. He had the tampo test flesh in the store without announcing them and they sold out. Then he replaced the image with the no tampo version. That's what I was initially going for which is why I made the weapon with Black as the primary color to kinda show where the "source" of corruption was coming from but mix in some Orange to show that it belongs to him still.
I'm considering making the left hand completely black as well to match better, but I just REALLY like how the orange contrasts against it.

Ehh, nah, I really doubt it. Hades (from Hercules) is a very distinct combo of cerulean blues, warm greys, and black.
Hades (from Glyos) has gone through many iterations. He actually started out with this combo of black and GITD with a clear amber spray. He then moved onto black/GITD, and only in later iterations did the aqua color start to become prominent. In any case, the dominant colors for Hades Force are now flat black and aqua.
It's just too much of a stretch is what I'm saying. Matt is actually very exacting when it comes to colors, and if he were trying for an homage it would be much more apparent. I mean, the colors honestly aren't even close. Google (Disney's) Hades and put him next to any Glyos Hades figure and there really isn't much resemblance whatsoever.

The articulation is as good as you want it to be, the only limitation is your building skill and imagination. The minifigs were never meant to be super articulated by default, and they never will be. But Matt has provided the means to make them so, if you want to take the effort to do it yourself.
Remember--this is a building toyline at heart, not so much a set of pre-made figures you're meant to critique as is.

Does anyone know how many Core Blocks make the floor and walls of the backdrop/photo-area that are in some of photos on Onell's website? Photo attached as example. I would like to know because I am trying to assemble something like it exactly, except I am going to add things coming out of the walls and floor.

Even scaling it down giving yourself enough blocks to create a sense of a hangar plus the parts to add to it will get you over the $750 mark. I've collected large amounts of EMD and ZED stuff for years and its very expensive, but very worth it IMO. If you're truly looking to get something similar to the photos you're going to want at LEAST 30 blocks for 2 walls and a floor. Even then this will only give you enough display space for a handful of figures.

Maybe using some sort of metal grating like pic related? You could put black (or colored) paper behind it and spray glue it on. Or maybe put thin plastic sheets behind it, since that couldn't accidentally be punctured. Might look spaceship-like or at least more of a futuristic lab setting. That's just what you think you can see. Photos always leave out a lot. But that basically has 4 walls with an opening. I'd say there were at least 115 blocks in creating that structure, originally sold at $14 a pop and with a limit of 2 per person. So making that happen in EMD or ZED colors is a pipe dream. Luckily now they are a little cheaper usually, $12 a pop, and no limits, but without detail lines. If you have the cash it should be easy to get large amounts of them. Honestly, if you're serious about making a massive structure, I'd contact Matt about ordering a large amount. If you were willing to commission at least several hundred being made he might be willing to help you out. But I'd say anything less than $2000 wouldn't get you in the door.

So in order to make this version of Hades that Matt has posted plenty of pictures of on the blog, what exactly do we need? I see axis joints and a phase arm, but I'm not sure if there are more pieces I've missed, and I'm not sure how many axis joints come in a pack, or how many are used for this figure. Exactly what would you need to buy when the upcoming wave drops to make this guy?

I don't look at builds Matt or other people do often, I am much more in my own head with what I do, build wise. It's more fun to me that way...
On a side note I have been collecting Glyos since '07 and am lucky to own my three favorite figures which I have not taken apart to rebuild and remain stock which are: Aves Exellis, Nemica Gobon, and Cerberus/Hades. Oh and I still own my NIB Sentinal/Yellow Crayboth set if anyone is interested.

Yes, although the problems were right away with either painted over and stuck joints or immediate stickiness. However I've also gotten some flawless customs that are among my favorites from my collection. Customs are a risky business, I've probably bought over 40 from Ni alone and am happy with maybe half of them.

I have just a small handful of customs as I'm super picky about them if I'm gonna spend that kind of money.
I think with any paint (not just MK on Glyos) there can be stability issues down the road for many different reasons. Often the environment, how they're stored/handled, etc. can affect how the paint holds up over time. I've seen items 40 years old that are pristine with good paint and the same item where the paint is completely unstable. The difference isn't the item or type of paint used...it's environmental factors...every piece has it's own life based on it's travels, exposure to things, etc.
