Pose Skeleton:
Gorilla
Elephant
Rhinoceros
Moose
Just stumbled across these, I almost never visit this board, but they look fun as hell.
Shame we yuropoors get fucked, I think importing em myself is the cheapest option.
On a few photo's in the other thread there seems to be a different set of hands, is this an actual thing or am I imagining it?
>>5225314
Yep, neutral and holding hands.
>>5225314
Amiami is your best option for imports.
>>5225346
They come with the extra pair of hands.

>>5165011
Also, Revoltech Skeleton reissue when?
>>5225353
Alright, thanks again. Do you happen to know what size is used in all those photos? Do they all have the movable jaw? That jawdropper in the old thread cracked me up.

These are mostly the 02 skeleton. 01 is a child, and 03 resembles an actual persons skeleton.
>>5225390
>>5225392
I think you mean the 01? Or does amiami use a different naming maybe.
>Pose Skeleton Human 01
>Pose Skeleton Human 02 Child
>Pose Skeleton Human 03 Big Person
03 looks mean, I don't like him as much as 01
>orders closed on office set & I don't like the others :(
God I've been having so much fun with these little shits over the past couple days, making them hold signs and probably annoying the crap out of my friends with the pictures I keep posting.
No regrets.
Skellynewfag here, my thanks to the anon taking these pictures, I love it. I assembled pic related because it made me actually laugh out loud.
Just picked up two of these guys, one had two left legs, unfortunately. Still love 'em.
>he'll never dance
Take photo of the one skele trying to teach the one with two left legs how to dance.
>>5225488
I don't have a decent camera, or I would.
How much does shipping usually cost? Three skellies, a dog, and two accessory sets.
>>5225395
The throttle is usually on the right side, brah.
>>5225500
Also how obnoxious is the box? I'd like to keep my weeb status hidden if possible.
>>5225531
Amiami? All the boxes I've gotten from them are completely markless brown boxes with brown tape. Almost suspiciously nondescript. Unfortunately, I've never ordered a skelly so I can't give a perfect shipping estimate, but my guess would be around 3k yen judging by my other orders if you go EMS.
>>5225551
Alright, thanks. Looks like I'm going to go with one of the cheaper shipping options.
>>5225597
It likely won't be here in time for spooky night if you do with something other than EMS, in my experience.

Hah, nice!
I only discovered these little dudes a few hours ago when I visited this board for the first time in a year. I've got an order for 3 lined up. Those photo's from the other thread were so nice, and these just pushed me over the line.
>>5225500
Thanks for the info bruh.

Yes, please, a reissue would be neat
>>5226623
>>5225372
As for size comparison with between them, the pic that anon in >>5225873 is a good example, also I came across thos other pic, it wich it seems that for the skelly 01 were two versions (not sure from were this second version of 01 come from)
>>5226690
Also a size comparison of the skelly 01 and the revo skelly if someone need it
What are some guns that fit the Pose Skeletons well?
I pray everyday they release a knight set. like sword, shield and maybe a helmet.
>>5226883
Most (but not all) G.i. Joe and Marauder inc. weapons.
>>5226673
Thanks! I think I'll go for 1x child, 1x big human, 3x regular human, and a T-Rex. That should give me plenty of posing fun.
Look at me, Im a dumb human. I wear skin and clothing.
>>5226690
Any more pics of that skeleton dog?

just received my pose skeleton + coffin set - but now i'm wondering if the big guy version does fit in the coffin, or if it only fits the regular one.
i can't open the packages because they're christmas presents for a friend

>>5235272
the weapons, where did you get the weapons?
>>5235310
>>5235310
Gi joes. Alternatively, you can try marauders inc. They have plenty of cool stuff.
Chainsaw, 25th buzzer. For various ninja accessories, track a retaliation storm shadow down. Guns, lady jaye, retaliation or 50th have a good loadout and a backpack with straps. Ultimate duke has a bunch of good guns but all in green. 50th danger at the docks vehicle set has a weapon crate and a ton of guns.
As I noted before. Headgear is too small for the skeletons. Ill dig a few things up and take some pics in a minute.
Anyone up for a game of scare-soft?
Here is some gi joe shit I tried on them. Any backpack with straps will work. Though most hoes have a peg and hole. The helmets are one of the bigger ones but are a bit of force to fit on.
>>5236079
looks like a failed pygmy army using modern weapons
>>5236079
Those helmets actually seem a little workable.
Really enjoying these guys. I think I've managed to convince two friends to buy some just from some of the images I've been taking lately.

It would looks great as a mount for the skellies

>>5239080
Part of me loves this existing because it's weird and horrific.
Another part of me knows there will be complaints about it purely because spiders do not have skeletons.

>>5239166
All three of those posts are me. I just looked it up(it's cheaper on TRU and they've got free shipping on 19.99 orders). Every site says it's made with wire, some say 'poseable', some say bendable, etc.
The big spooper spider, according to the article, is actually jointed.
Also, fuck, I need to make an Ainz sama.

You can open the joint and stuff a tiny shred of paper towel inside, that helps I find.
>>5239469
I havent tried too much disassembly yet. By arm, is it the elbow? Or the shoulder? Elbow, Im unsure, shoulder, you can gentle pull out, same with the legs. The disc joint itself can be popped apart. I had to pop one back together out of the package.
Could always let him sit in a cup of hot water for a couple minutes, let it cool naturally, that seems to help stuck and lose joints go back to a neutral state.
>>5233068
Is that Bandai kit? I need to get one and paint it white and black for a skelemech
I'm thinking about making a Momonga custom with the October Toys Bone Titan, what's the take on the joint quality for them(Range, plastic quality, ability to keep a position)? The custom will likely be at least double the initial weight of the figure, though I may add support.

There's a lot of places. There's HLJ, AmiAmi, Amazon for convenience, but you pay double you would on an import site (~$10 USD as opposed to ~$5USD), etc etc.
The Gunpla guide in the Gunpla general has quite a few import stores listed. Many of them apply to the various kinds of toys you get here on /toy/, so check the guide over there sometime.
I need to buy more boneheads. My one is cheerful enough, but he needs buddies.

So I just got this in today. It's fucking huge. Like I'm going to use it as a Pose Skeleton Prison huge. A Revoltech Skelly might work with it, but it's akin to a siege weapon rather than a mount.
There's another spider that's about the right size for SpiderRider goodness though, pic related.

Here you go. One in the mouth is a regular, the one facing off is a Big Person skellie. All the scenery is between 1/16 and 1/20.
>>5251004
That's huge!
I believed that it was a bit smaller as there is a bigger version in >>5239164
Thanks for the pic anon
Also, nice playsets!
>>5251076
Yeah, I can't imagine that the bigger, jointed version's a manageable size after getting this one. Thankfully, I'd already decided to make it a 'Boss' monster, but I'd have preferred that it'd been half the size.
>>5251004
where'd you get the armor and handcuffs from?

Cool. No worries. I had to poke a hole on the hand to fit the cig from solid snake revo mini. Worth it.

>>5265658
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151300629281
Right here, though the price could be better. These things are a huge pain to get if you don't order them off Rakuten or Amiami when they come out since otherwise your only bets are middleman services like Noppin. They aren't rare or expensive at all if you do use a middleman service though.
Keep in mind they're candy toy model kits, so you're probably going to need a hobby knife, some sprue-cutters, a bottle of Future, and some sandpaper. The parts aren't always molded at just the right size, so you may need to sand down some joints or tighten them with Future.
I've had good luck with that kit so far though, it hasn't given me too much trouble. Problem is, I don't see his mount here for sale on any US sites.

The Skellies were $15 add-ons for the kickstarter with $5 in-US shipping. If Marauder's accessory-less figures are an indication, that price should still hold(they have slight paint jobs and are $12.99 per).
