The shields will protect you against debris and space dust. However I double checked and found that standard deflector shields do not protect against physical projecticles.
They're designed to deflect blaster bolts and other forms of energy because those are the most commonly used weapons in the galaxy.
In the old KotOR games and the new Battlefront deflector shields do not protect against physical damage.

This is based on the game Empire At War, which I'd consider secondary or even tertiary canon compared to the movies, shows and books. It also claims that the method involved is to make the missile "cylindrical". Well, guess that means they'd be fucked against Earth's air forces, no? The QA people really put a lot of thought into that one (not).
That said, sure, it makes sense that missiles would be designed to penetrate shields. Arms races are a thing. The wiki entry for missiles even says that there's a type of missile that's designed to overload the shield generators. But arms races go both ways, and if missiles were that effective every damn space battle in SW should have started with an opening salvo of missiles instead of blasters.

Sasuke never uses it in canon (Only in movies) before Boruto, way after the main series ends. Sakura never uses it. Kakashi is one of the strongest ninja in the series and a man renowned for knowing countless jutsu. It's Naruto's main thing and we see why he has it. Okay, checking the wiki page, and the only two non-Konoha ninja to use it seem to be Iwa ninja. Which I guess makes sense, Iwa and Konoha are pretty hated enemies so the Iwa ninja would have fought Konoha ninja often enough to have reverse-engineered the technique from observation. It seems a lot more common with Konoha ninja, though I suppose that might be confirmation bias due to there being so many more named characters from Konoha. Still, Konoha is probably your best bet for learning it, if it's so much rarer outside that village.

Truth be told, I never have. When I started out being a Jumper wasn't something I patted myself on the back for. That's kinda like congratulating yourself for breathing, isn't it? It wasn't even something I thought about very much; it was something I LIVED. There was always something to keep my occupied long enough to stop smug superiority from kicking in.
Heck, after I got my first god complex I didn't so much think "damn, it feels good to be a Jumper" so much as I thought "RIGHT, TIME TO FIX EVERYONE'S EVERYTHING" because to me it was always the opportunity that was everything, not the status.
Hell, I even went through a brief phase around jump #60something when I started to HATE my nature as a Jumper. I was made in the image of what I feared and hated: An otherworldly shapeshifting glitch in the world with the potential and incentives for endless growth and chaos. And yet, every time I acquired a new altform I was faced with the crushing realisation that I was, and always would be, an aberration. A catalyst. A Jumper.
Things are different now I've become what I was always meant to be, for better or worse. Even back then, after about 10 jumps or so I calmed the fuck down when I reflected on the ways my outside context nature also came in handy for achieving my goals.
The point is-either way, I've more or less thought of being a Jumper the way I presume most redheads think feel about having freckles

In Ar Tonelico, does one have to buy a Tower Seed to gain access to it, or can the application of time and Song Science allow one to create it themselves? I'm not worried about needing the Orgel of Origins to power it. I've got my own ideas of how to provide the power a Tower needs.

Really like the jump. Changed my build a couple of times before landing on this as despite it being pretty short it's got enough really neat options to give you some difficult choices.
Dropped in because of the capstone and because I liked the other perks more than the Cop ones. Bit of a shame not to have a background but I'll just pretend to be an ex-League of Assassins guy.
Trained by the League of Shadows gives me some fighting (and probably stealth) abilities which is neat.
Research and Development lets you make half of the stuff in the Items section.
A Dark Knight makes me Batman level iconic which is really cool.
A Hero Can Be Anyone seems to let me reach out to people who are sad and inspire them to be heroic Batman types. Initially had the League of Shadows capstone in place of this one but this is much more fun if a hell of a lot less consistently useful.
Combination of Bat Cave + Afraid of Bats is pretty funny. Probably not going to get a lot of use out of the cave as a result for this 10 years. Mostly bought the cave due to the cool trophy aspect of it. Curiosity is probably going to get the better of me to see if there are any trophies in there yet and I'm probably going to run out crying after 20 minutes of cowering because a bat nearly touched my hair.
The League of Shadows means I'm going to have to destroy the League of Shadows meaning I can't slot this in too early due to their tendency to threaten the complete destruction of the city to get what they want. They probably need destroying though really given they're totally fucking insane and their whole plan hinges on making things terrible and corrupt in order to stop things getting too terrible/corrupt.

probably the best way to acquire d&d divine rank for a jumper would be to wait till you have been to FR, then during a later jump(possibly the very next one) Create Ice Assassins of a god. Get proxy from one, hand off proxy to one of your companions or a squirrel or something, repeat until ice gods are DR0, have your ice gods off themselves. Recall all of your divine ranks.(Probably watch as the chain ends with Jumpchan throwing a universe at you because your spark kindled and you got boring)

Yeah, but some of those Divine Abilities are very appealing, and even if Divine Rank 0 doesn't let you take them you can always build your Divine Rank from there. It might be worth it to make a build that avoids getting anything too good in your Warehouse before hitting Forgotten Realms, while still getting you sufficient power to qualify for the PrC. Alter Reality's only prerequisite is Charisma 29 (something that's fairly easy for a jumper to get), so just one additional Rank would give you a really potent ability. Cast any non-epic spell at will for no XP or material cost, temporarily create magical things or permanently create nonmagical ones, and render any supernatural effect permanent. That's pretty tempting.

So I'd say yes... with time and lots of effort and resources. Making your own Tower seed would be a Big Project. With Song Science, you potentially have the requisite understanding to do so, but still, a major project.
