Starting off the thread with a pic of the Stormsword I'm working on. So many little bits to get into the tracks and I immediately see more after the pic is taken.
Got some of the footsloggers done, also finished the bottom half of the Dunecrawler (pic in a moment)

Would the Skitarii be very difficult to paint for a beginner? I'm considering getting the Skitarii starter set since I've always liked Techpriests and their models look really cool.

I haven't painted a single model in six or seven years and I'm doing alright, though I had experience beforehand. In general, if you've got good dexterity and know how the paints react with one another and in layers it's not too bad. The one thing I will say about Skitarii (especially the infantry) is that they have a lot of different materials involved. Mine have blue cloth, steel and brass metal, black undersuits, brown wood, darker brown leather, green, red, yellow, and black wiring, and red and bone accessories, and that's just the stuff I'm thinking of.
I've found it's best to paint them one at a time, treat every single one like you would an independent character and they'll all end up looking good.
Trying to figure out how I'll paint flesh, though. Pic related.

Go for a really pale white skin, pallid wych flesh or whatever it's called would be cool.

Nice camo.
Are you using an airbrush?
Posted another picture of this terminator in the other thread if anyones curious to see more, first miniature Ive painted in a couple years.
