So how many of you have solved diplomacy with a well placed dropkick?
>>
>>47326336
>>47326552
If it says you don't have warehouse access, saying "well, I have any items I had on me!" is just being deliberately obtuse. No warehouse access means no items, unless you have a power that lets you keep certain items on you.
>>
>>47326782
I prefer the Roundhouse.
>>
>>47326782
Not a dropkick, but I made a point of curb stomping the Illusive Man after he rez'd Shep while my Effects were Massing.

>Diplomacy
I'm sorry, I am unfamiliar with this term. Could you explain in more detail? As for drop kicks, I employed a magnificent one on Cinder as the finishing move in a combo, hitting her hard enough to send her crashing through her own dragon. Oh, there was also that time I drop kicked a berserk Unit 01...
>>
>>47326782
There are some great Zangief style moves in the Generic Fighting Game jump that work too, if that's what you're in the mood for. That spinning pile driver bit is always a crowd pleaser, and a decent way to deal with your political opponents in West Wing.

Drop kicks are for only when diplomacy fails
>>
>>47326552
What matters is the intent is clear, and the context of it being a Gauntlet (which barring one or two exceptions that explicitly state so lock out all out of jump stuff) serves to make it even more so. Actively bending the rules against a clear intent is moronic and effectively demands jumpmakers go into full legalese if they want people to actually follow the rules of their jump. Don't do it. Even most of the SB community acknowledges it's unacceptable.

Random question: What is the minimum possible build you would need to KILL No Game No Life?

Thet is less of an issue than it seems becasue despite being "The One True God" he's the god of games that won out because he just didnt went near the figth. and Old Deus are mostly out untill shit REALLY hits the fan for them.

So, so far i think i have something.

Omega Level Technopath from X-Men CU for the ExMachina

BBC Merlin's Excalibur or similar for the dragons.

[ _____] are not a problem with wide enough sensor perks and enough speed

Beastmen can be taken down with Touhou's timestop as suport

But what about the rest?

172. Marvel
Era: 2005, Location: Washington D.C.
Origin: Drop-In, Age: 22
Perks: Brains (-100), Energy + Healing Factor (-250), Swinger (-100)
Items: Vibranium X + Unstable Molecule Uniform (-300), Adamantium X + Blade (-300), Web Shooters (-100)
Drawbacks: 4th Wall Reliant (+150)

I need the adamantium and vibranium for reasons. Reasons related to power. Power relating to this being a power fantasy. Also, going to steal Uru in an interdimensional heist so I can use all three with Artificial Alloys. They're mostly just going to sit around and collect dust with the rest of my massive supplies of precious metals. It's mostly so Isaac and his team of scientists can upgrade the LoT's and Kerykeion's systems and defenses. They're probably also going to steal a bunch of other rare metals, like that anti-metal stuff. You can never have too many mysterious ores laying around, I always say. Psitanium or Octiron might be just the thing you need for a fancy new hat.

I however, am fucking off to space once I get the Uru. I don't want to be late to the Annihilation Wave destroying the remains of the Skrull Empire, because then I might miss the Phalanx trying to take a chunk of space for themselves or the Kree-Shi'ar War where an Inhuman and a Mutant blast a hole in reality several lightyears wide that eventually starts spitting out cancer. I'll have to save Pete and Rich from dieing in there with Thanos. And if that's messed up, lord knows how I'll chill with Cosmo and the Annihilators. It'll be a busy first five years is what I'm saying. And I'll probably be exhausted after that. So, I'll return to Earth and offer to help at Avengers Academy, maybe do something to stop Arcade before the whole Battle Royale knockoff arc.

My companions will end up involved in Civil War, probably. I'm thinking Chimmy, Falco, Lina, Cierra, Asriel, and Isaac would side with Cap, while Roberta, Arlyssa, Fia, Ko'el and Toby would side with Iron Man. Basically personal freedom versus political power

Particularly useful against those with no purpose in life.

So if you wanted to exterminate them, you'd do so without taking that drawback.

Erm, the Dinosaur capstone seems to be a tad weak compared to the others. I mean, don't get me wrong, detaching limbs is very useful and all, but the others give you the ability to avoid long term punishment for breaking the law so long as it benefits society, hide your powers/skills/etc. the more people you're around, and a sort of general way to figure out how to accomplish a goal. Everything else looks really good, and maybe I'm wrong, but it just seems a tad bit underwhelming in comparison.

OK a bit late for this but whatevs

On KanColle/BoatSluts

How does Savage Salvage for a humanoid Abyssal work?

Do you pull out a monster mouth from the riggs and have it chew stuff?

And, how much is reasonable stretching? Artillery is a given, metals and resources too, but what about guns or weapons like i dunno -Halverd Chainsaws? do you get to materialize one for you? have chainsaw monster powers? Make a giant chainsaw for the rigg's arms to wield?

...well, I thought Demonbane might be a cool jump, because I heard it was a mecha series featuring Lovecraft stuff. Then I actually did some research on the series and...
First of all, probably WAY too lewd, and then, the power levels/wank is ridiculous. Like, imagine the leap from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Z times a billion. The MC's mech by the end is bigger than the fucking OMNIVERSE by the end somehow, and they managed to imprison Azathoth and Yog Sothoth. I don't even...
>>
>>47327810
I wanted to do a Parenthood jump where you have to spend 18 years raising a child. There would have been one drawback where jumper things, like ninjas kidnapping the president, come up frequently enough that you miss a lot of your kid's stuff, and an expensive drawback where your child refuses to come with you and doesn't become a companion at the end.
>>
>>47327810
I've had ideas for a generic /tg/ jump, I mean stuff like having one origin being "elf slave what do?".

>But are you a pepper, or do you contain pot?
Well, there WAS one jump where the answer to that would be "Yes".
I was young and crazy.
>>
>>47327933
>This actually sounds interesting. Maybe as a gauntlet?
I didn't see any reason to make it a gauntlet, using superhuman powers to help with child rearing sounds more fun than doing it with no powers.

Origins were difficult for me, I briefly considered using "archetypes" as the origins, such as being a stay at home mom or one based around being the "fun" parent, but just using the model where you get one discount per price level might work too.

If there's actual interest in this, I might give it a shot.

This will mostly be nit picking at this point, this looks good. So, these comments can be taken as things you can do if you want to keep fiddling but aren't strictly speaking necessary. Does that make sense? I've been into the Jameson's. . .

>format
Looks a lot better. I comment about a few things, but that'd just be quibbling and me getting into my document formatting compulsions.

>Raindrop
This rewording is better, but you threw a bit of the baby out with the bathwater. Before you had it so that solo acts that buffed reputation could be done on a smaller scale and they'd still help your reputation writ large: your bar room brawl example. Now it just sounds like regular fame. Though you did tweak it so now it doesn't imply that working with a group will lower your aggregate reputation / fame, so that's good.

>Destiny
This is fine. I didn't comment on it the first time, but I think it's still okay.

>Choke
Better. The only thing I'd do would be to change the line about double healing. If a limb can regrow in a week, that rate of regeneration is considerably faster than 2x. I'd just tie the increased healing speed to the limb regrowth bit and not quantify it beyond that.

I know you said you're going for a low to mid power jump here, and as I said last night I think you've got a handle on that. Keep tweaking or upload, I think you're good either way.

Thanks for the jump. Cheers.

>>47328094
>Also, that drawback is the worst in jumpchain
I like drawbacks that hurt you in emotional ways instead of physical, where the act of taking the drawback is hard. It's easy to say that you defeated super-double death in arm wrestling, it's a lot harder to say that you dealt with the drawback where you made a small child cry.

Half a dozen waifus and all kinds of powers from around the multiverse help though.
>>
>>47327890
On the one hand, I already raise children in my chain already. But there are probably people who earn their medical degree in Sims and go off to generic medical drama anyway.

If this is made, as people seem to be pushing for, can we get the drop-in origin as a nanny or au pair rather than a parent, for those who don't want their own kids? I already had two.
>>
>>47328019
I'd like to see this, especially from the late-chain Jumpers that have powers out the wazoo.

Maybe have Jumper Jr. dying or hating you be a Lose Condition.

>Teaching Jumper Jr. their first Earthbending Lesson.
>Having to ground them after they sneak the Treeship out of the Warehouse and go joyriding.
>Getting calls from school about them getting into fights with bullies and arguments with teachers and winning both.
>Guv'ment gets called 'cause Jr. talks about their eight moms and we're in the South like idiots.

Perks or Complications that can mess with the setting or your socioeconomic status like in SoL would likely be well-received. Also perhaps something that lets them inherit abilities that aren't specifically stated to be genetic-based like Bending.

>>47328197
I like this bit for the drop-in being a nanny. Maybe an option to be an adoptive/foster parent?
>>
Question to the Jump maker of X-Men Cinematic Universe, actually, while we're discussing kids.

So, we've seen that the children of two mutants will become mutants as well, and that their own powers will correspond with the parent's 'power level,' so to speak. In that the children grow to be stronger than their parents.

So my question: What the hell do you think would happen when the children of two Omega-level mutants start showing their powers?
>>
>>47328243
not him, but at a guess, something along the lines of Franklin Richards.

>>47328145
I figured there would still be a bit of sanding and polish needed. Think I'll do that and then v1.0 is going to be posted here.
>>
>There's interest in the Parenthood jump
Alright, I'll give it a shot. I make no promises on when it'll be done, but I'm definitely going to try.

>>47328197
>for those who don't want their own kids
Eh... Maybe? Being a parent is kind of the whole point of the jump, and being a nanny instead seems like it might be a bit too different. The way I had it planned, the baby was just going to kind of be magicked into existence, unless you took a drawback where you undergo a very rough pregnancy, if you took a drop-in origin. That said, I'll see how it fits when the jump develops more, and you just gave me the idea for an option to import kids from other jumps as small children.
>>
>>47328233
>Lose Condition
Both of those sound absolutely terrible-
Oh great, now I'm imagining a drawback worth 800cp where the child dies at the end of the jump from some terminal, incurable disease. and all you can do is be with them while you can. Thanks brain.
>>
>>47328304
>Franklin Richards
Kind of a special case. His abilities are due as much, if not more, to the fact that daddy went into some bullshit dimension and stole a cosmic-power artifact that he fused with his wifes blood prior to Franklin's birth.

isn't the point of a Lose Condition to be something terrible? I also didn't mean the typical teenage "You're old and don't understand me and my moody teenage edge, I hate you!" bullshit, I mean real "You were never supportive of me so I'm moving to a different state, changing my name, and getting a new phone number just so I never have to even think about you gain." hate.

If you take LoV/Herald/Fiend and Dormant Power+ Boosted Demonic Fusion, how ridiculous will you be in and out of jump?
How would you do against characters other than Aquaman?
How will good will you be after 300 years?
How is the defensive power/durability of 1000 cp races. Of a tribrid?
Before you said that you could be physically better than aquaman in all respect, and equal with him in swimming speed, with a tribrid. So continent-level? The only feat only other feats in durability I saw in the page you posted are him getting punched by wonder woman and regenerating from a magic stab wound, and the wonder-woman thing suggests more than continent level.
Is your speed massively hypersonic? Given that almighty power alone lets you move faster than a bullet, I guessed this was the cased, but I wanted to make sure.

How dangerous is World of Chaos/Law anyways? Law sounds pretty bad because you have to step up to the big cheese head himself, but Chaos honestly sounds pretty survivable even with in jump stuff. Lucifer is gone, and even his most powerful generals kind of suck in comparison to you with the shit you can buy with that drawback.

Oh, we'd make WONDERFUL parents.

About 75 out of a 100 in the "Kick Aquaman's Ass" side. That depends. Tribrid without Herald or Tyrant ranks at 65. Part-Herald or Tyrant Tribrid ranks at 70. Tribrid with both Herald and Tyrant ranks at 85.

If these numbers seem meaningless, know that you're supposed to treat them as percentage chances of success.

Pretty ridiculous. Literally the only individuals stronger than you will be Lucifer and YHVH.

I have the memory of a goldfish. I'll need to check my own rulings in 4plebs before I can answer those questions confidently, and I'd rather give other people their answers sooner.

His other defensive showings make the Wonder Woman thing an outlier, even if she likely isn't punching as hard as she possible can, so it is reasoned to be that he is particularly resistant to blunt damage.

Correct assumption.
>>
>>47329085
Yeah, Chaos kind of got the shaft in 1, to be honest. Even Beelzebub isn't that tough, and is in fact weaker than both the final bosses, and since with the in-jump stuff you could take on Asura, the Chaos leader in Lucifer's absence, and win most of the time, the only real threat is the Hero, who will probably be incredibly tough due to SMT human nonsense.

Hello again, Jumpchain, this >>47326949 anon back with another Darkest Dungeon question.
Familar Faces, the companion import option, may get pulled into the fold of Stalwart Heroes.
How do I treat this? I mean do you just lose the ability to import them individually or does this just get you a catchall import that can hold four companion choices under the import?
I leaning towards only granting the benefits of a Import option to all of them, sort of the same blanket effect that happens with the Waddle Dees, but what if I don't want the four to be carbon copies of one another?

Because it's cuter. Better yet, you enchant the costume without them knowing it. So they think the costume they made is just that great.

Wow, I just finished reading Alan Moore's Miracleman run and this talk of parenthood jump is making me foresee generations of Winter Morans. So alien. So xenomoral.

In unrelated news, I need a nautical themed +300 drawback, equal in threat to gaining a nemesis or the wrath of the gods. The Giant Eye I'm using... isn't satisfactory.

>>47329179
I've been waiting for someone to use that combo. Guess what, Stalwart Heroes only allows for 4 surviving heroes, individuals, to be smushed into a single slot. Like the Choirs, like the Waddle Dees, and people already have various opinions in past threads on how they handled importing them.

>>47329303
Kraken/Leviathan are classics, though you could go with lower level Tiamat like beings, where the problem is less the monster itself and more the amount of children it pumps out.

Again the discussion above me is a reason why Jumpers would make terrible examples of parents.

>>47329354
I dunno, man, if my dad was omnipotent, or merely phenomenally cosmic powered, that would have solved a lot of the issues he and I had.
>>
>>47329354
And yet I can't help but feel like I'd be a better parent than my own father.
And that's good enough for me.
>>
>>47329354
That depends on your perspective.

To a mundane, a child with an upbringing steeped less in the physical sciences and more in the occult and the magical might seem poorly-raised indeed. In fact, see what happens in the real world.

But now imagine for a moment if those parents homeschooling their children in mystic mumbo-jumbo were RIGHT.

Suddenly, those kids are going to grow up wielding power greater than any millionaire, a key to untold success: the power to bend reality itself to their wills.

>>
>>47329128
So what is the level of your defensive power and durability? Discarding the Wonder Woman example, he tanked an attack that apparently destroyed a nation/continent with little/no damage.
What about stamina?
>>
>>47329303
Ah, I treat the Waddle Dees as a part of a greater whole, though somehow still individuals in their own right sharing in the powers I buy for them or they buy for themselves. The only thing they don't share is equipment, which is why I gave the leader of the bunch a crimson scarf Ensouled with my magics. The Dees are my most loyal subjects but I wouldn't want my other companions to fit into the same mold they do.
If I'm understanding what you're saying that is what would happen, right?

>>47329426
Hmm, how about sea raiders empowered by a god of piracy or whatever that uses tech to further bolster their forces? Like, a combination of Captain Nemo and Blackbeard with limited divine backing? Does that work?
>>
>>47329533
That's the other two nemeses, but you've given me an idea, thanks.

>>47329606
We know Dirge was working on one, and there's a WIP of it in his drive.

Buuuuut unfortunately we've lost him.
>>
>>47329593
Oh I do. A proper King must understand his subjects, even if Saber never understood that I do, however to smash four of my companions, who are fun to be around because they are individuals with their own quirks, into a single slot would take the spice that they bring out of it. Heck half the reason I'm so weak is the fact that I have had a companion that I've been dragging along for almost every adventure.

I can't just leave my companions behind because they keep me sane, seriously, and to take away any facet of their individuality would cheapen them to being no more than weapons and tools that I bought with CP and invested CP into. I thought it might have been more of a, every now and again I'll toss them into the same companion slot as the A-Team when the choices are really rather shitty, but as it is I might pass on it.

>>47328982
Alright, fuck everything, I'll respond to your other stuff before making the big ol' list of people you can now murder.

Boosted Demonic Fusion speeds up your growth rate by... I'm fucking stupid. I have said that it cuts your required development time of previously-stated stuff down to a fifth, but I can't figure out how much that actually speeds it up by.

Considering what I've said previously, that should make you... two and a half times more powerful? Your growth is flat, and three centuries is enough time to grow to the power of a 1000 CP race from nothing five times. You basically already have four and a half in there, so...

You don't have any regeneration, and while you're not exactly going to die from random muggers, there is a big disparity between all of the choices' offensive power and defensive power. Don't expect to tank any nukes, let alone continental hits.

First, thanks for taking the time to respond to my questions, this goes to everyone who answered my questions. Second, I have a bit of a... quirk that you may have noticed. My Friends IRL call it my need-to-know thing and it stems from the fact that I can read and interpret things in really obtuse ways that makes people freak out, hence why I asked my questions.

As an example your quote just now. I read it as 'you could interpret it as a sort of team companion that can break up into individuals', but I have enough understanding to know that isn't, perhaps, what you meant at all. I come off as 'cheesy' on the internet, or so I've been told, but I make an effort to keep from stepping on anyone's toes. Thus why I came asking for answers that are somewhat obvious to others.

Still thanks for the help.

>>47329923
Depends on what you want really. Any magical setting is sure to have perks that boost your 'mana' pool, reduce 'mana' of each cast, multiply the cast or even reduce components.

If you know the splats, the D&D based jumps offer class feats. Harry Potter offers silent spells, which you can combo with other perks to remove the material and somatic components for purely intent activated casts. If the magic system is smarts based use smart perks, or get the Maou and Fate/Extra perk to convert between tech and mag as necessary.

Finally, there's also perks floating out there that dilate time, which might help with casting periods or would even allow you to pull off once a day spells multiple times due to personal frames being sped up.

On another note, is this OP pls nerf?

Blue Scintillack Shard (400CP): Blazing with apocyanic radiance, wars have been fought for less. Use in battle to regain memory and find guns ready, or techniques and abilities recharged in an instant. Used in lamps to reveal long-forgotten memories and secrets lost to time. Irreplaceable.

Well, in the game the cooldown is 10 seconds but I'm taking that as an abstraction and not a reality.

Let's see, Correspondence feats... spoken its got your usual sanity sap/prostrate before me damage effects (allah and the mountain, etc), it sets things on fire when written, including neurons, tattoos of it may consume their canvas, used to stamp souls with 'markers', perform symphonies of +3 emotion.

If you are looking for device based feats, there's not a lot I can point to besides the Dawn Machine (which may have involved other components), Zubmarines of fantastical construction and eye glasses that protect the wearer from madness.

Speaking of, rate this perk:

Sigil Stamper, 300CP: Regarding that kindling script, you have painstakingly applied Correspondence glyphs in reverse upon shot, so that each impact will burn a destructive symbol upon armor and hardened hide. Impossible to do so otherwise, you can only ever carry six.

Why yes I am in a sharing mood today, have to prove that I'm not just all talk somehow.

As for how it works, you perform alchemization by putting the catalogue codes into the punch designix to punch the codes into the cards, overlapping them to get the combined pattern, which is then put into the Totem Lathe to carve a Cruxite Dowel into a Totem, which is then put onto the Alchemiter, which will produce the item at the cost of Grist.
>>47330326
Why would you do that? Panacea seems to have turned out pretty well.
>>
>>47330400
>though there might be a problem with the classic muscle car changing the looks

Hmmmm. There a size limit to what can be alchemized, then?

Think I might go FTL to Shrink it, then Burb, if that'll work.

After that, we're finding some weapon imports.

And I gotta find a damn good bayonet for this thing.
>>
>>47330379
Wait, so the temperature is inversely proportionate to the number of symbols on an object?

Or are some symbols hotter than others?
>>
>>47330484
Not sure where you are getting inversely proportional from, I'm just using those as examples, so don't write the symbols down unless its on metal. Or living flesh, the rules are weird about that. And so far, no symbol has shown itself to be hotter than the others, and multiple symbols may raise the temperature in different ways depending on the sentence structure. Sorry for the confusion.
>>
>>47330483
So what're your ship imports looking like before FTL?
>>
>>47329729
So just below nukes then? Why is their such a difference in defensive and offensive power? And honestly, if the demons are superhuman, it makes literally no sense for them to have insane strength, speed, but no proportionate durability and vastly disproportionate stamina. Human stamina seems way to low, unless that comes from an author or in-universe statement. I always considered humans being able to beat humans more of a sense of there metaphysical weight, in that humans could hurt things way tougher and stronger than they logically should. After all, when humans level up, their attack and defense stats are raised as well, suggesting that they can somehow make themselves stronger and more durable in some abstract sense, even if it doesn't translate well outside of fights. I feet like the analogy of humans having an inbuilt sword of the cross makes more sense then them 'merely' having ridiculous skill. There's no real reason to think that demons glass cannons.

Sorry, I misinterpreted your first sentence.
I've only just started playing Fallen London, and the wikis are complete shit at explaining anything, so I know basically nothing about this eldritch language other than that it emits heat from nowhere.

What sort of sentences would increase the heat? What exactly happens if you speak the language aloud, besides the standard going nuts and getting ouchies?
>>
>>47330669
Panacea is a character from Worm, the child of a supervillain adopted by a superhero family. Her adoptive sister, Glory Girl, has an aura that makes her allies idolize her and her enemies fear her. Panacea fell in love with Glory Girl because the aura can't be turned off, Glory Girl is a hot blonde, and Panacea is a lesbian. This being Worm, everything ended in suffering.
>>
A question about Alucard's Embrace from Hellsing, but it says it enhances you physical and magical abilities. Does this apply to stuff outside of the jump, like say, Dresden Files magic or super powered physiology from Marvel?
>>
>>47330735
Don't see why it wouldn't
>>
>>47330704
Well, here's a freebie for you: I have no blinking clue. Spoilers ahead so...

The language is weird because of just how many meanings the symbols can have according to interpretation, one whispered fragment can mean "a path unmarred by obstacles" or "a future consumed and forgotten" but I'm pretty sure in context it means "there is nothing ahead of you". And the phrase "forever hurtling towards the earth" might mean orbit.

As for speaking it, in-game high Watchful (100+) characters can learn enough to "Speak" it (reach level 12 title Speaker), and at least one professor has tried to use it to talk to the Sun. Not recommended while in Fallen London for various reasons, though it can be used as a sonic/quake attack.

So far, Supreme Commander to ensure the Light of Rifle can produce it's own regular ammunition (and suddenly I realize how I can use that excess heat - hook a power-pack up to my veins, use Omega-Tier Energy Absorption to harness the heat the gun gives off, hook power-pack up to the Rifle of Terra)

Would normally go to Five Star Stories - but my Brave would benefit more there than the Rifle of Terra, honestly.

Hello, everyone! Here with a question and a progress update.

I've finished all the perks for Kamen Rider Neo-Heisei Part 1 (consisting of W and OOO with guest appearance from Fourze) and am now working hard on the companions and gear options.

And now for the question:
Which jumps let you create/import mecha?
I've got all of the Gundams as well as Macross, Armored Core, and White Knight Chronicles on the chopping block right now. However I wanna create the most janked giant fighting robot as possible so....
Where else should I head off to?
The ability to use CP to improve on it is desired but as long as an import is possible I won't complain!
>>
>>47330785
>>47330842
Alright, I'll just say it does work on stuff outside of the jump, since there's no clear answer either way.
>>
>>47330925
>my Brave

>>
>>47330726
>the aura can't be turned off
Not entirely true. Glory Girl doesn't actually try to control it, because of the benefits it gives her over both enemies and allies. She probably could limit it if she wanted too.

She had no official oversight and no secret identity to protect, and no one ever told her that it wasn't okay to constantly brainblast people. She was pretty spoiled and used her mindrape willy-nilly.

It just goes to show the dangers of an unchecked Master.
>>
>>47330948
Evangelion
Super Robot Wars
Supreme Commander
Code Geass
That's all I can think of. Mind showing what you got on Kamen Rider? I'm super hyped!
>>
>>47330859
Well. That's certainly something.

Good stuff. What're you going to do for your next chain?
>>
>>47331032
Well, got tossed into a horror/supernatural arc early. I'm going less on the dice for the jumps, since the last chain was nothing but random rolls, but more of them for random events (and drawbacks, at times). It helps make a neat little narrative of what happens.

I'm perhaps a dozen jumps in, because I had nothing better to do at work, but it's going in unexpected directions. Entertaining, though.
>>
>>47330948
besides >>47331020

You've also got:
Five Star Stories (Create & Import)
Zoids Legacy (Create & Import)
Sunrider (Create & Import)
Transformers (Create via building your Transformers form, then post-jump taking the choice to make it a pilot-able robot)
Full Metal Panic (Create)
Battletech (Create)
Metal Gear Solid (Create - hey, technically Metal Gears count as mecha)

assume you're asking the create details due to dismantling and adding purchased / created 'bots to your own?
>>

Drawback: Who and Goliath? (1400)

Dinotopian, Age 27 (1300)

Rolled Vadabba

Trade Craft (Free)
Rider (1150)
Destiny (850)
What Code? (250)
Stamp Kit (Free)
Coin-purse (200)
Sunstone Pendant (0)

Don't mind us, just making a quick trip to the barriers and hiding some Shards near 'em to keep the things reinforced.

Funny thing, all this time we've kept the fluffy dinosaurs drawback from Jurassic Park. This may or may not be prohibitive to dinosaurs living on a tropical island, but hey-if birds of paradise can deal with it surely a cold-blooded sauropod can too. Heck, since this is some sort of utopian island retreat we might have retcon'd into existence an entire economy for dinosaur feather-based outfits, who knows?

This is just a nice, relaxing island resort to continue our break. We're just here to play some volleyball on the beach with the girls, try out the food and play the ukelele. Or fly a kite. Or be flown as a kite while playing the ukelele. Elodie, go get the string, we're going flying.

...

...question, is Grand Theft Tyrannosaur a crime here? Because due to Monster Hunter and Red Faction we are really, really good at subjugating non-sapient creatures and we're not sure if commandeering a T-rex to take it on a joyride outside town is against some sort of dinosaur code.

Drawbacks I perfectly understand, as that's the point of them; making it harder for a bigger reward. And Gauntlets are basically jumps with it built-in as a drawback, but give a unique reward in exchange. I may never take those drawbacks, but I understand them.

Benefactor fiat in my case - having an instant 'I win' button does not make for a good narrative nor a good story, and it means the next threat to come would wipe the floor with me instead of standing half a chance.

Not quite:
[[The structure of Irish surnamesIrish surnames are common throughout the world, particularly in America, England and Australia. They have the peculiarity of often having two parts, rather than one, a legacy from the days when Gaelic was spoken throughout the land. Hereditary surnames were not used in Ireland prior to the tenth century; surnames were only used for a single generation. A man was known as 'son of', mac in Gaelic, his father. Thus Turlough, son of Art, was Turlough Mac Airt. Turlough's son Conor would be known as Conor Mac Turlough. Alternatively, if his grandfather was considered a more prominent figure, he would be known as 'grandson of', Ó in Gaelic. Thus Conor would be known as Conor Ó Airt, meaning Conor, grandson of Art. The apostrophe commonly seen in Irish surnames today is an Anglicanized version of the Gaelic accent, so that Ó became O': Ó Baoill became O' Boyle in English. Another common feature of Irish surnames is the prefix fitz, as in the names Fitzgerald & Fitzpatrick. This is a legacy from the Norman invasions of Ireland, and is a corruption of the French fils or 'son of'. Since Mac and Fit' have the same meaning they were interchangeable at one time.]]

It looks like some involved item. Kinda S.O.L. 'cause there's nothing about place names, so my best bet is to pull a Cú Chulainn, and gain a title to use as my name / surname.

Bit more complicated than that - mostly when getting into descendants and relatives, although mac's certainly the more common one and the one most modern day names go with.

Given Scathach's origins however, the older stuff's likely to be called into play. As you're going from the angle of "student of Dún Scáith," what you COULD do is play off of a variant of the "adoption" angle, and go with a 'descendant of' suffix, which would be Ó or Ua.

e.g.: Jumper Ó Dún Scáith or Jumper Ua Dún Scáith, which would translate into "Jumper, descendant of Dún Scáith," fitting as you're a proud student of her school - possibly the only one at that point in history, too.

Do I go with video game addict or everyones a rapist? Which makes for the better advenure?

I'm not exactly sure what's going on in this world, but now my story is casual rape ambushes. I mean, we started off fighting spirits and suddenly the people who came to help tried to convince me to casually rape one of the local wizards that tried to kill me a few minutes prior. I'll just stop any casual rape I see as if it were non-casual rape and be on my merry way. I'll admit that rounding the corner and finding a bunch of pantsless folks in ski masks is a bit much, though.

I was worried, so we stayed close and defended the Light of Terra and Kerykeion from ambush casual rapists, or hero casual rapists. Asriel was especially useful, with his powerful anti-rape forcefields. The Kerykeion got it's first flight test with the aerial upgrades we installed, and "the Anti-Rape Space Society" was up and running. Unfortunately, naming it ARSS really just invited more trouble. We were the true defenders of the people, though. Sending down our champions to destroy the roving gangs of casual rape heroes.

I don't.

But then, generally I don't get wrapped up in how much I can lift. It's like, y'know, whatever.
It's just a game.

Offhand, the time I really had an issue with it that I can recall was in the original Stalker jump, which took away ALL your powers in a setting with high radiation hotspots and mutant zombie monsters. The author seemed to think it was adventurous and would make for good stories.
My response, I remember, was, "Looks like I'm gonna be playing 'Gutterpunk: The Jump'."
As in, I figured I'd rather hang out on the fringe of society and be a hobo as opposed to do whatever the heck he wanted me to be doing? It honestly sounded more fun. Because fighting zombie monsters isn't really my idea of a good time with powers, let alone without.
Not really sure what he was going for.

But he eventually rewrote it and got rid of that, so it's not even a thing anymore.
But the point is that even back before that, I still took the jump at face value.

Any house rules I have tend to be because there aren't rules for what I want to do, as opposed to in spite of them.
But anyone can do what they feel like as long as we're all respectful about it.
It's just a game.

If you're going for it being an equipment/item, then yeah, I guess. I was thinking you were going for the general effect.

I kinda prefer abilities to items, since the former can't be taken, but if you wanted to gift it to someone or have a companion use it, that sword would be better.

Oh you could get Jibril to raise your kids.

From the Civ jump:
>Your people will begin on a world/environment that is well suited to their expansion.
Does this mean if your race was something like Harry Potter Wizards there would be magical plants and animals around for your people to make wands and potions out of, once they figure out how? Or does it just mean it's a nice area with few natural threats?
>>
>>47332103
Probably the later, you don't really need magical ingredients for human beings to survive and thrive. That's just extra.

Nuts. Does anyone know of anything that would help provide these things? I don't have a way to just transplant entire genetically viable species across but if they don't have wands they're... basically just people, some of whom might be able to do a few fancy tricks if they're powerful enough.

>Owlman

>>
>>47332138
Just get some seeds or cuttings from the plants you want, find some simple preservation spells. Even the setting itself might have those.

Animals are trickier, you basically need a cloning machine and a genetic bank. Much more expensive gear, but there are jumps for it.

For the first, you only need a small amount as long as you know you haven't picked up anything infected. Plants are less bothered by interbreeding and many of them can just clone themselves indefinitely.

For the second, it might actually be easier to figure out the magic genetics of Harry Potter animals are, and then use Geneforge to shape the goop into creatures with the desired traits. I think they can make plants too, but as I said above, it's not as vital.

Wands consist of a wood (doesn't have to be specially magical, since beech and oak qualify) and a core (usually hair from a magical creature). If nothing else is available, note that a wizard is a magical creature, particularly if they can manage an animagus form... there's probably a reason wizard hair isn't normally used in cores, but desperate times often call for desperate measures...

I also think(?) I seem to recall something about how wizards used to use gemstones before wands become popular (because wands were cheaper and gave better control?), but that may just be fanon.
>>
>>47332182
Wizards can also use magic without wands if they're masters or naturally talented at it.

You can't make a race of magic caster like that though, not unless you decide to engineer them all to be Dumbledore.

Hard to say. Pretty much all our vehicles are technically space-capable because the kind of distances we need to travel in a vehicle with generally involve heading through space.

Even the horses and-no wait, especially the horses, couch and motorbike.

Uh...let's go with the first flying transmogrifier we built in KND out of a cardboard box. Which we keep around mainly out of nostalgia than actual use.

>>47332138
The Geneforge is pretty good for copying magical genetic traits. Gargoyles and Street Sharks probably offer better know-how for adapting it for more exotic lifeforms.

To supply an entire civilisation you'll want to look into magical terraforming, though. There's Leviathan tech from Godzilla although I can't vouch for how good it is, and Not Quite from the Eldar jump-which is probably a solid bet since it was designed for planetary-scale terraforming. Or Biotechnician from The Polity for smaller scale ecosystems. You'll also want the automated cauldron system from Atelier Arland, and Fulmigati's items from Van Helsing in order to combine alchemy with technology. Then by studying the composition of magical reagents in HP jump, you could theoretically recreate an ecosystem Jurassic Park-style to gain a sustainable population of reagents to harvest.

Just looked into this and found nothing about gems, but apparently the Native Americans and Africa didn't use wands, though this did make some forms of magic nearly impossible for them with only the best capable of higher end charms and transfiguration (the latter of which may have been limited to Animagus transformations without wands).

Also, all those fan-fics that said American wizards didn't use the term Muggle are justified now, unfortuantely, since Rowling has said they call them 'No-Maj's'. Short for No Magics. They also made the wizarding Congress a hundred years before the non-magical congress.

Like in many other areas of philosophy you find it seemingly backwards at a glance. Same thing with Hedonism really, it's a philosophy all about enjoying one's life to the greatest extent, in truth by managing consequences among other things. In actual hedonism one may be inclined to only drink lightly, to avoid any hangover, and do all of their work promptly to avoid it piling up on them.

Like ASA, I wonder how the American wizards work. No, there's a size limit to what can be Captchlogued (put in your in-jump inventory), which is necessary to get the code of it for Alchemy.

There's work-around for that through. Notably, there was a camera and a Captchalogue card alchemized into a camera that spit out captchalogue card imprinted with a 'ghost image' of whatever you snapped a picture of.

That would work work for the LoT. It would take an absolutely monstrous amount of Grist. Absolutely idiotic amounts of it.

Well apparently it's illegal for them to marry non-magicals and they may be even more separated from muggles that the UK wizards are. They don't seem to have any government connection at least.

The way it's said makes me think they use wands now, but there may be Native American wizards who use the old ways still, or they may be prominent at the school. Who knows?

Also, turns out there are only 11 magical schools in the entire world, so... that's something.

> Do you use the Housing Supplements or just buy the Housing option in the Warehouse Supplement?
I think at one point I actually did use the Companion Housing Supplement as a house ruled sorta deal.

The logic behind it was that I'M FUCKING TERRIBLE, insofar as I am a neglectful twat and tend to forget that my companions are even a thing. Like, there are a LOT of jumps where I just straight up don't account for whatever my companions are doing or forget they exist.
So my justification for it was literally, "Jumpchan takes a small measure of pity on my companions and gives a sortof pseudo Warehouse to Vera, my Yugiohrival, using the supplement, and that way she doesn't starve."
This was sortof Vera's first real interaction with my Jump-chan, and spoilers: Vera absolutely hates her because she's a cunt. Jump-chan I mean. She's like if Val and Truth had a kid.
Vera would totally stab her given the chance, but... she's Jump-chan.
Ain't never gonna happen.

But, see, here's the thing...?
After making that minor plot point, I... promptly forgot about it. I don't actually use it for anything, and if it exists, my Jumper doesn't have normal access to it. It's purely Vera's thing.
I don't even think I finished the build for it, to be honest.
It might as well not even exist to me.

N E G L E C T

As for the Warehouse, I took the plumbing and electricity and then just built everything else inside it myself, over a period of several centuries.

I don't think it works like that, no.

Besides it being Virtual Reality (meaning you'd need some way to digitize stuff and back again), pocket planes are generally agreed to stay where they were created. Which, nine times outta ten, means they're left behind in each new jump.
If you DID have some way to digitize things and bring them out again, and you had something that followed you between jumps (wholesale, not just "makes a new one in each new jump) that you could house it in, I guess you could do something like that.
But it wouldn't really be a "pocket plane", and it'd be more at risk than the warehouse, which is generally understood to be nearly impregnable.

Naruto I dealt with by going full on super effective super perverted teacher on the sly. IE call out the plot's bullshit and out do it. I knocked him out and took his place by bullshitting some other item. It was a weird time.

Not as weird as Bleach where I out Keikaku'd the Keikaku. Again, calling out peeps on their bullshit. It helped that I had a sword that could kill the Soul itself.

If you fanwank really hard...
Keep the drawback "Fantasy Kitchen Sink" from Dragon's Crown, and your Civ race is "wizards"...
>There is a great deal that is implied in Hydeland, with this drawback you make it explicit. Not like that, perv. No, by selecting this perk you ensure that any and all fantastical races, monsters, creatures and mythological tropes that might seem like they’d be in Hydeland are actually in Hydeland.
So in your Civ jump with wizards, something that seems like it should exist in a "a Civ world with wizards" does, I suppose? I wouldn't go so far as to wank your world will spontaneously produce dragons, but mystical herbs, I can see. Minor magical animals, maybe.

You mean OTHER than photocopying Supernatural scripts and "anonymously" sending them to Chuck with lots of red letters in the margins and comments like "you appear to have forgotten the Leviathans have existed after this date, so I just kind of went and tidied them all up for you before they could be unleashed on the world. You're welcome" and "are you sure letting all your archangels and scribe die or go crazy is a good idea?" and "explain to me how witches and demons are somehow able to overpower X when Y massacred armies of them during Z"?

Well. In Gundam Future Century we introduced concepts like "full spectrum operations" and "well designed hardpoints" to the retarded martial arts bullshit. Sure we ended up getting kicked in the face a lot for our trouble at first but it was worth it to get off that one railgun shot from afar.

Also in Requiem and Masquerade we anonymously distributed solar power storing UV floodlights to all major cities. Harmless to humans, a death sentece to all the parasites. The governments also got some solar powered nukes (now with 200% more Lumen Sage and Miracle-imbued magical sunlight!) to drop on the Antediluvians when they tried to reclaim the world. Because the whole concept of Gehenna is stupid when it can't possibly last for more than 12 hours max.

And in Naruto, we just kind went on a road trip with Orochimaru and Karin to ditch the main plot (incidentally preventing Saucefuy from going power-loco) to travel the world genetically engineering things. Also, we used ACTUAL stealth and covert ops to infiltrate Kaguya's resting place and soulfire-necromantically reanimate her for science.

Oh man, I loved Silverwing! I remember watching it at 4AM on Toon Disney. Then I'd have to go to bed so I could make my classes the next day.
Watching it caused me to pick up the books, and they're even better than the show. I will always think of Goth as Spanish, though. He was so great.

>>47332984
Well, that's just the cartoon. In the books they're just bats. Regular bats, no Redwall stuff. Although they do some weird magic stuff with echolocation, and there's an afterlife that mainly comes up in the third book, but that's about it.
Just normal bats, can't even talk to humans.

The Light seem to be the only group with a realistic understanding of my potential to fuck things up. Bitch, I'm a wizard. I have a knife and everything.

I actually really like my parents for this jump. Both were the religious type practitioners of magic, burning incense and saying their prayers. They bought a magic shop together, lived above it, and were the cutest couple, with flowers and kisses and that weird thing where they keep their hands in each other's back pockets. One night, they used magic to ask for a child and were soon blessed with a son, which got them to take magic a bit more seriously. The son really wanted to be a superhero, and how they doted upon him and taught him, and how voraciously he ate it all up. He could be a magic superhero, they told him.

And then, one night, he changed at the dinner table and the parents learned the cost of magic. They were pretty cool with the whole thing once I explained it all. I was still there son, just with the memories and power of a 2000 year old magical universe-hopping superbeing as well. I had remembered and accessed the power of my past lives, and it was just a bit different than anyone could expect. Their son was even the one who had precedence for this world, because I really liked having a happy home, even if Gotham wasn't a great place to live. It was tense, for awhile, but it evened out eventually.

Shit, that's what I get for sleeping. I spent my time in Dragon's Age fucking with Anders. He's just such a poorly written character that it irritates the shit out of me. Anyway, I let him plant his bomb but changed it into fireworks so it still went off but nobody got hurt.

Then I made a point of finally stepping in and negotiated a workable peace between the Mages, Templars, and Chantry. I made sure that Anders went to jail, and was properly mocked by people of all three factions for his "I'll start a war I can't see through to the end, 'cause muh trocities" emo activism.

Anyway, I let Hawke handle the city politics while I worked out the details of the new peace between the factions and eventually Kirkwall became the model for how cities and governments started dealing with the mage situation and when the events of DAI kicked off the world was in a much better position to fight off Lanky McStupidmage and the Rifts.

Oh, and Anders name became a byword for a fuckup.

It was best end.

Might depend on what exactly you are after. The 40k jumps offer stuff that is pretty damned good at killing souls such as warpfire, but things like force weapons are also pretty good(though they require you be a psyker). There is also the Demon stained weapon from berserk, which technically if you spent enough time there working on killing Apostles and the various spiritual beings with a single weapon it should obtain similar properties.

I revealed the existence of vampires and other supernatural gits to the world. I cranked up my charisma perks, and used my YouTube skills to do an investigative journalism show. I then paid Bella's parents a good amount of cash to move the fuck out of Forks, and the media had a field day covering the 100-year old Cullens skulking around highschools.

After that? Well, I bought a nice boat, one big enough to live in but not be obnoxious, and lived on the Puget Sound. Fresh air, seafood, good music and nice views for the rest of that jump. Sightseeing and the like for my companions.

More like Lany McStupidatheist. His whole plan only happened because he was afraid and lonely because he couldn't find his gods, so he decided to try to become a god to fill the void, and then when he started losing he prayed to them out of desperation.

HOW GOOD IS IT?!
HOW GOOD IS IT NIGGER?

I'LL TELL YOU HOW FUCKING GOOD

So, this guy called Tabula Samargdina (How thy fuck did he remembered how to write that to log i have no fucking clue, maybe it was because this guy was the genius considered as THE STRONGEST MAGIC USER IN THE GAME) tried to replicate a world class item and the shittiest result is enough to endanger a whole continent.

ok im calm.

So, relatively speaking for the setting level 100's are pretty much beyond people from fantasyland.

Thing with this magic is that there is no unbalanced Wizard shittery. Even while making magic items.

For example: stuff that makes you faster/thougher/stronger magically is fine and common with skill and magic alone, say 10 to 30% up from your original stuff.

But if you want the heavier stuff you need reactives the 75-100% you will need SERIOUS materials in quantities you would probably only get while farming a respawnable boss with a couple more LV100's

Remember, this was a PC game so you cannot really bullshit you way out of game terms. Teleport plates/portals are go; statues that break and summon stuff are go; enhance stats is a given; giving an elemental effect is fine; attacking the conceptual barriers of the being to metaphysicaly turn it into slurry is WAY TOO FAR.

While i said no wizard fuckery, you actually can shove spells into items with alchemy/magical crafts or whatevs (there's a talent for it too) so far i remrmber all of those working on a cash-"one use and it's gone" system that consumes the item with the spell.
>>
>>47333239
Recent enough that I remember and am annoyed enough to post about it. I don't have a Tera tracker that I update with your various shenanigans.
>>
>>47333162
I thought when he was snapping his fingers he was pulling it out of storage or summoning it from somewhere rather than literally enchanting it on the spot.
But even if he isn't enchanting it then and there, the magic system is based (loosely) on D&D and MMOs so it should be pretty good for enchanting items.

>>47333205
Heart of Steve from minecraft, or some other perk which makes you run on video game health should do it.

I was refering to the Cullens she was merely a casualty of keikaku even if I do despise her. She got surgery later without my interference i just needed her out the way so i could set the sparklepires on each other like dogs. Jacob died more as a point of pride as a werewolf from other jumps than any fault of his own.
>>
>>47333257
The main character of the story also conjured armor and weapons that would be considered national treasures out of thin air pretty much instantly.
>>

all the weird bullshit that makes no sense and the Autistic way they behave is just old world FaeFolk shittery.

Like obsessing on this one human, or imprinting on a baby, or ripping someone's face for petty bullshit, or shoving their face in a conversation.

Also, I might just be blind but is there a way to link your time in the Morroblivion jump with Skyrim or is there no continuity between the two?

>>47333531

I have a few questions about the Persona jump.

1. Is it possible to learn how to use fusion spells either by taking Hidden Depths to get a second persona, or by teaming up with a companion to cast one of them?

2. With the Rumormonger perk how much control do you have over starting a rumor? For example can you accidentally start one?

3. Can Rumormonger give things new abilities (for example like how the Crawling Chaos made a spear that causes unhealable wounds), or does it just warp history?

Oh also I found a slight problem with your explanation for why the death and higher arcanas are not accessible without Hidden Depths from several threads ago.

http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Sho_Minazuki

Their a human with the sun arcana and a moon arcana persona. Meanwhile the only inhuman thing about them is that they gained a split personality from having a Plume of Dusk a.k.a. the thing powering Kirijo's persona related tech implanted in them from one of those unethical Kirijo experiments.

Meanwhile if the plume of dusk was the reason for their arcanas post death arcanas would have been a lot more common in three.

4. Although if you leave it as is any chance of at least adding notes on the higher arcanas to the Hidden Depths perk if you ever update the jump?
>>
>>47333864
Yeah, it was the Plume of Dusk. Sho didn't have a Persona until he had it implanted. And post-Death Personas weren't common in P3 because the only character in P3 to have a Plume of Dusk in them was Aigis. She needed it just to exist as a person, so the selfhood-altering properties of it were probably tied up in giving her a self to begin with. Plus, I think it's mentioned at one point that she was specifically designed to have Palladion, so they would have compensated for its effects instead of intentionally letting the Persona mutate like Ikutsuki did to Sho.

The Plume of Dusk is what powers evokers. Which means that technically none of the characters in Persona 3 had Personas without using one of those.

Using one of them to shoot yourself in the metaphysics probably isn't that less metaphysically damaging then having one implanted near your metaphysics

Meanwhile while not a Persona 3 character Labrys also doesn't have a death or higher arcana, and she's also from Persona 4 arena. Which kind of contradicts the idea of their being some kind of intentional theme of humans being limited to pre-death personas and non-human forces having access to the higher ones.

There's also Metis lack of a post-Death Arcana but she's too odd to factor into this.

There's also the issue that Plumes of Dusk come from something whose Arcanas only go up to Death.

P3-style Fusion Spells are only usable because Minato had Death inside of him. Hence why Aigis can't use them in The Answer and Yuu can't use them in P4. You might be able to learn P1 and P2 style ones, but it won't be internal.

I'm going to say you have to be trying to start a Rumor for Rumormonger to trigger. So, don't worry about accidentally starting one. Rumormonger can make new abilities, like how it can give Jack Frost Atomic Bufula. However, this is incredibly finicky and I wouldn't recommend trying it on yourself.

See >>47333952 for Sho. I promise, though - if any of the human characters in P5 has XIII to XX, I'll let those be options. In that case, I'll also add descriptions.
>>
>>47334146
The Evokers just make it easier to summon your Persona, they don't give you a Persona. All of the P3 cast have them on their own, they're just using Plume of Dusk technology to make it easier. And since those are a specific technology instead of "let's jam a Plume into this guy's soul and see what happens", they're not going to mutate as a result. It's controlled, refined, predictable. The experiment with Sho was intentionally none of those things.
>>
>>47334212
No, some of their powers would be less effective on those with less sin but the light that will "ignore all abnormal resistances" would still fuck them up.

What do you mean by internal?

>I'm going to say you have to be trying to start a Rumor for Rumormonger to trigger. So, don't worry about accidentally starting one. Rumormonger can make new abilities, like how it can give Jack Frost Atomic Bufula. However, this is incredibly finicky and I wouldn't recommend trying it on yourself.

This reminded me of something else. How permanent are the effects of Rumormonger?

>See >>47333952 for Sho. I promise, though - if any of the human characters in P5 has XIII to XX, I'll let those be options.

Sure. Still seems to make the idea of it being an intentional theme odd, but this was mostly just a case of 'this seems to contradict things'.

> In that case, I'll also add descriptions.

I was kind of asking in general. It's mostly that currently Hidden Depth doesn't really seem worth the effort involved compared to the other methods of getting a stronger persona.

Not that the perk itself is bad, but that at minimum it's eight wiki pages worth of research to decide if you want one of those arcanas or not.

Actually this reminded me of something.

If you do update the jump any chance of an option to get new companions that aren't anti-shadow robots or dogs, or an option to import a companion as one of the anti-shadow robots?

>>47334276

The only characters in three that can actually use a Persona without one are Aigis, and the Strega group who need medicine to keep their Personas from killing them.

There's also the issue that unless the wiki is wrong the plume just gave Sho a split personality disorder and they got a persona later.

You're going to include a couple of Gaia memories and Astroswitches in the item section right? Also would Plug N' Play allow you to make your own rider belts with power sources from other jumps?
>>
>>47334523
Minato does fusion spells using his own Persona, and that's not something you can do. P1 and P2 style ones require you to work with your allies.

Generally, once a Rumor has been spread, you can't take it back. Spreading a contradictory rumor might - MIGHT - be possible, but it's extremely unlikely. Once people are believing one rumor, it's not easy to convince them that they were wrong.

Probably not going to add in a New Companion option. One of the constants in Persona is that the hero moves on after the game is done. P1 Protagonist left for unknown reasons, P3 died, and P4 went home. But I may add the option to import an existing pet as your dog.
>>
>>47334738
Assuming that you had the Helel or Satan persona, could you perform Armageddon with someone who had the other one?
>>
>>47334698
Yep. T2 Gaia Memories are an option, and you have a selection of Memories to use if you buy any of the Memory Drivers such as the Lost Driver or the Prism Driver. Astroswitches are a BIT less prevalent, I'm still unsure if I want to make this for the first 3 shows or just have Fourze guest 'star' (heh)
But if you take a certain option, you get the basic set of switches alongside the Fourze Driver! That is, Drill, Rocket, Radar and Launcher.
Also...yep, Plug n Play lets you make your own belts if you put enough effort in. Kamen Rider Chaos Emerald comes to mind.

I meant less take it back and more weather or not the changes fade over time (beyond natural decay).

How example if you use it to give something a new ability would said ability be permanent, or only temporary?

Can we get the Machine Massigler and the Powerdizer thrown in with the Fourze Driver, so we can do a proper Rocket Drill Kick? Hitting your opponent with a rocket-propelled drill just isn't the same if you can't launch them into orbit first. Fourze has the best Rider Kick.

>>
>>47334816
I figured this question was coming, and it's not possible. For one, Helel is Star and Lucifer is Judgment. You're the only one who can get an XIII+ Persona, and only with Hidden Depths. Even if you could, Helel isn't a valid Persona - it requires a maxed-out social link to create, and since you can't achieve that, the only way would be Self-Awareness. While you can acquire both of those abilities, you can only have one of the two Personas that way, so you'd be stuck with only half of Armageddon.

>>47334901
Mmm, good point. On one hand, once everyone knows a rumor it's accepted as true, but on the other hand once a rumor is no longer active nobody really cares, which means there wouldn't be the same empowerment by the Collective Unconscious. I'll have to think about that one a bit.

Well, technically we don't have either in our natural state if we don't want to manifest it from our aggregate spiritual gestalt. And when we do, it tends to take the form of biomechanical blends rather than raw flesh and blood. Which tends to be inefficient by itself.

Arguably his defensive abilities are stupidly powerful, to the point that no amount of force in the goddamn universe is enough to kill him, but you could also get around that by confusing/outsmarting his calculative ability with something smarter than him and an offensive ability that is capable of accurately and quickly behaving according to said ridiculously massive calculative ability.

Accelerator can control vectors, so as long as there's matter around him that he can control, he'd be able to at least vibrate them to generate heat, and with spacing him, there's still trace amounts of matter in the 'vacuum' of space, so he can probably survive on a coin flip, although getting into space is about as viable as killing him any other way.
