What do the stats mean? Reading the responses in the last thread and just guessing off the page, Power is good while Cost, Time, and Threat are bad? What sort of budget does the player have to work with?Is mother/daughter incest strictly illegal, or merely taboo?I'm kind of curious to see what the final picture looks like.
Also, it does seem sort of weird that the player has a lot of agency over the actions of the target. Nothing wrong with the way it is now, but it might make more sense for the different victims to have their own material. You could even have different levels of blackmail that you unlock by increasing your Power over them, modified by what means you choose to work with and whatever other bonuses you buy. That would have the possible advantage of giving it a bit of gamey side which I think helps with replayability and pushing people into choosing a greater variety of options.
All that would probably require a rewrite of most of what you have now, though, so it's not really anything I expect. Just thinking out loud about design.

Power is basically how much power/sway you have over their actions. Cost is how much money you're essentially investing into the operation. Same with time. Threat being how likely are they to be found out by someone else, or how likely they are to go to the cops, or something similar.
My intention for the taboo fetish was that you could decide what the scenario is and it can overlap. If it overlaps you could potentially take both taboo and illegal or something.
As for agency over the actions of the target, maybe some specifications like you can only take her if you chose one of these blackmail materials?

I'm not really surprised that /cyaog/ dislikes what MGCYOA became. CYOA's as exhibited here tend to be simpler thought exercises and short imagination games.
AMGCYOA kind of steps away from just being a CYOA. My pink .pdf and it's single expansion has more background and setting info as it was intended to be primarily a writing prompt/setting document. The Blue .pdfs came about because a big chunk of the people using it wanted to actually roleplay their characters and interact - and since freeform RP often turns to shit, they built a rules system.
So yeah - it's massively bloated and huge when compared to the original since it's kind of ceased to be just a CYOA.

The Pink document is slightly more spergy than the original Red. There's 40 perks instead of 20, and 4 additional bronze coins that provide minor modifications/boosts. If you roll allies it tells you to actually roll up additional girls to be said allies. Back and forth is a bit harder with a .pdf than with two images, but it's not too bad since the condensed perk table and the spec table let you see what stat upgrades are attached to what perk without having to read the whole perk description.
It's still far and away less spergy than Blue, which has 60 perks, a lot of which are fucking weird, an additional costume option, 4 more stats to keep track of, a ton of rules, And 3 expansions, all of which are unnecessary. The spells for that system aren't even in any of the posted .pdfs, they're in 20+ different titanpads.

Anyway, I think it's strange that Narcotics are much safer than Exotic Goods. Anyone else notice that? If you try to make it big with Exotic Goods your danger rating is a lot higher than similarly-tiered Narcotics. And the bonus is not as good as Narcotics either, since +2 wealth AT MOST gets you +6, whereas a fourth product from Narcotics can get you +3 Wealth, plus some extra power, and that's not even factoring in the maximum of +4 of power from the other half of the bonus.

At first blush, Livestock seems massively underpowered. I might have to play with the numbers to see but it just does not seem at all worth it unless I want to self-insert as a slave trader. 5 points left over but I don't particularly want Echolocation or Gullet. The plan is to avoid combat that I do not initiate. Firstly, by not being a target in the first place. Assimilate into a varied but unimportant population and use my Reskin ability to ensure that I never garner any attention. Possibly have an "alpha" identity I come back to every few months. Build myself a social network and support group while maintaining an identity that allows me to disappear for months at a time.
Secondly, by identifying and avoiding any possible threat. I don't have a perfect selection of skills for this, but by keeping aware of my surroundings and using my various stealth abilities escape should be possible in almost any situation. With bios being incredibly rare, seeing any near me constitutes a threat; I have to assume that they know what I am as well and are after me for one reason or another. Unfortunately, escaping from any Bio that can sense me is incredibly problematic.
If I find myself challenged by a threat I can't run away from, my plan is to engage them on my own terms and as lethally as possible. Striking quickly from the shadows is what my chassis is built for.
A few other thoughts. I feel like Progenitor Worm is extremely weakened by the fact that it's known to be a possibility. Any Bio on Bio combat would end with the victor keeping a very careful watch for on and once a human research team discovers the possibility then you've suddenly got a lot more flamethrowers than before. I'm considering trading mine out for Regeneration.
