A sandwhich, a basic BLT cooked with the nothing but regular ingredients and a few of my cooking perks. I had at around my 70+ jump, in To Aru. It reminded me of who I was in my normal life, the family dinners I would have. Tears were shed, companion group hug was on point though.

A full-course traditional Chinese feast replete with old recipes adapted to new lifeforms. Phoenix self-cooked in the style of Peking duck, dragon tendens braised in a delicious ambrosia-seaweed sauce, world turtle soup (no, not Great A'tuin. We cloned its' hatchlings and farmed them near another world's sun).

Though an honorable mention goes to the tears of our enemies.

>>47183640
We talking pre or post Spark here? Because if the former, none since we'll just be sent back to Earth.

As for the latter-too many to count, potentially including every Planeswalker out there. The smart money's on the Great Will or Jubileus coming to recoup their investment, though. We've made arrangements in our deals with them to prevent Umor from flaying us into the crowning piece of its' collection.
>>
>>47183640
Jubileus has the greatest claim and probably the most justified given the whole Lumen Sage thing.

Other than that there a probably a ton of eldritch abominations that would happily try and claim my soul.

Technically speaking, I'm kinda immortal thanks to time-related bullshit, but if I did bite it. I suppose one of my companions, who became a Blooded from Darkstalkers lays claim on my soul.

Or I become a Djinn.

Or a shinigami.

Or become One with The Force.

But the most likely scenario is that Blooded companion will keep my soul with her, along with those of the others if they ever bite it.

In PMMM Jumpchain, does "Screw You Kyubey" option allows one to make a wish later on?

Not trying to Wish my way into omnipotence or anything silly like that, but I'd like to use that as an excuse to fanwank some relatively minor additional MG stuff in later jumps.
>>
>>47183640
An explosion. The universe has no idea how to process the death, so it defaults to 'explode'. Soul included.
>>
>>47185446
means no sanity, for the rest of your days
>>
>>47185607
Sure. It's supposed to be a bad thing because Kyuubey will keep nagging you about it but technically yes, you can make your own wish later on.

The spirit of the background's idea was presumably to prevent undefinably powerful wishes ("I wish to be omnipotent! I wish for all the waifus!") but it's a moot point anyway, since Madoka's ascension was only caused by a glitch in reality from Homura's frequent time loops building up a lot of energy for her to expend in her wish so the scope of the girls' canon wishes is probably more in line for what the incubators can grant you.

Well I'm glad you like it so far! I'm hoping to actually get it done soon, I've figured out the format I want to do for the tables and I'm working on the Infested customization table right now. So we'll see if I manage to actually do it right or if I'm just gonna fuck it up.

...ho boy. I was hoping to keep it a surprise, but...

For Infested and Warframe Customization, there's going to be an initial section, then there's going to be two sections you can choose. One will be primarily combat/offense oriented, and one will be support/utility oriented. You choose one section to receive full discounts in every option under the section, but ONLY that section.

So for example, say you went Infested. And you're a rather PROACTIVE kind of person, so you choose 'Role of Destructor' for what will be discounted. Everything within that specific section is discounted, but the other section 'Role of Creator' will be full priced for any option you buy.

It's going to be 100CP to buy your way into the tables if you're not an Infested or Tenno. But to make up for it since those backgrounds cost 200CP, they're going to get a few specific bonuses that apply to ONLY them. So it's kind of a "what are you willing to get" sort of thing, just what are you willing to sacrifice to get what you crave.

Also I kind of cheated and added an exclusive 300CP extra budget only for items. This way people actually look at the bloody things and feel like they've got a bit of flexibility, as test builds so far, while you can buy your whole tree for 1200CP, still scream unholy terror.
>>
>>47187263
>It's going to be 100CP to buy your way into the tables if you're not an Infested or Tenno.
So, wait, if you buy into the Warframe customization table, do you get a Warframe or would you customize your own form?

You get a Warframe. But Tenno would get a BETTER Warframe.

>when the Lotus does that background balance just right
>>
>>47187443
Fair enough. I just really wanted one, doesn't really matter how good it is. Just on principle.

But I was really digging all the other perk trees more, so being able to buy it as something else sounds really awesome.

Jump 11, which was Shadow Ops. I rolled physiomancy and began experimenting with my taste buds. I baked a lasagna, and after a few failed or gross attempts I found the setting that made me go "Holy Fuck Falcomon, hold me".

I guess that may be cheating, though.

Infested is a customization table for your own version of the Technocyte Plague. Warframe customization is a customization for what is essentially your remote body.

Before anyone asks, yes you can still channel out of setting abilities through the Warframe. But to balance that out, your Warframe is more closely tied to you. If it goes down, YOU go down. At the end of the jump you're given a choice: Desync it from the Transference Pod and make it armor... or keep it as a remote body. You can't channel out-of-setting powers through it anymore if you make it a remote body, but it's not a fail condition if it gets blown up. If you make it armor... well. You can channel powers through it but it's ARMOR. It's not a remote body anymore.

This way it isn't just a "I can never die anymore" tidbit.

I'm not putting in a Weapon Customization because two customization tables is going to be crazy enough as is. Plus have you SEEN the amount of weapons in there? There's a lot. I'd never fucking be able to handle it all.

>>47187528
Yeah, that's kind of what ticked me off about the original version, so I wanted to rectify that. Like I said before, if you get a Warframe as a non-Tenno or a Strain as a non-Infested, you still have options... you just don't get the exclusive bonuses in order to make it fair.
>>
>>47187577
Hm. Making it armor would make Mindful Transference kind of a waste after the jump. Remote body it is, I guess.
>>
>>47187577
Can I desynchronise from the warframe during jump? Or is it possible to move my body, I'd rather have it on my LoT than in the moon.

Okay so I want to run a Native run starting from Mega Man Classic, but I'm not sure which of these concepts to pursue:

>A deadpan construction bot from Megamix-verse
>An enthusiastic Light-bot from Archie-verse
>A loyal Wily-bot with no indoor voice, also from Archie-verse
>A firefighter bot who doesn't talk much from Ruby-Spears-verse

I'm leaning towards 2 and 3 but mostly because I'm biased towards Archie-verse in general.
>>
>>47187684
Not really? You're still getting one hell of a mental upgrade along with a mind that can handle things that would leave most people with their brains oozing out of their skulls. Plus if you end up getting the capstone booster it isn't mere multitasking, but tried and true parallel processing. I mean if you're looking at it strictly from controlling a body it seems diminished but it's hardly a waste.

>>47187704
Gotta wait until Lotus yanks the Moon out of the Void, before you can move your body. But it should be possible.
>>
>>47187684
Second.
Orokinology can probably get it Zandastu Approved, and the reflex enhancement and parallel processing perks are still on my end. Should still be cash as fuck.
>>
>>47187577
Would it be asking too much to add a "Keep it as an alternate form and be vulnerable because it's your real body" option?
>>
>>47187798
I like it.
I'm still keeping it as a remote body, but I can see the merits of this, and armor form.
My opinion; Remote>Alt-Form>Armor
>>
>>47187738
Thanks, don't want anyone getting a hold of my body.
>>
>>47187736
If you're going to do it in thread, I'd rather read 2 or 3, as 1 seems like it's effects on the story would end up either very subtle or be obnoxious without being endearing, and 4 seems like it defeats the purpose of a native run.

If you're not going to do it in thread, 1 seems to be the most fun to think about and like it could involve a lot of creativity if you write it out. Like one of those Every Man stories where a guy has to use his own narrow field of study to figure out a solution to a problem, or overcome that habit.

>>47187838
...I... don't think I can do that. I mean the only reason I was offering the armor option in the first place is because people kept demanding it as some kind of hold-over from what they did in the original version. And I can't think of any way to justify turning it into some alt-form somehow.

That kind of feels like going to a Gundam jump then asking the jumpmaker to make your MS an alt-form.

For those of you that have purchased magic immunity of some sort, a question:

How do you deal with magic that is beneficial?

In D&D, if you have Spell Resistance you can choose to lower it as a Standard Action, which is to say you can shut it down if you spend a round doing so. But lowering it is a conscious decision, it's something you have to do. SR isn't treated as a smart barrier that knows what spells help you and harm you. It's more a gate or a shield you have to raise or lower at will.

So do you treat your magic immunity / resistance like the mechanic mentioned above or do you see it and treat it as more of a smart barrier? I ask because I'm starting my D&D run, but I picked up magic immunity in Negima and Dresden. So I thought I'd get a little feedback before I start slumming it in Faerun.

I'm really digging Litten. I suppose I would.
I just hope it doesn't turn into the travesty that was Purrugly. Otherwise it's easily my favorite. SOOOO CUTE.

I feel like Rowlet is a little too round. Like it's almost featureless. But then again I guess it needs to differentiate it from Hoot Hoot, so it's fine.
Popplio is also okay. I guess it's going for the "seal balancing a ball on its nose" circus look?
They are both okay. Fire Kitty a best.
>>
>>47188094
I like Poplio the best. It's just so goofy and it poses and I want to cuddle it. But we're in Hawaii so it wouldn't be useful against the low level grass and water types. Rowlet is definitely the cutest. And Litten is just another cat.

>>47188359
I actually avoid magic immunity that blocks all magic for just that reason. Seems like it would be more useful for a pure science or mundane violence based build.

A question for Sadow Of The Colosus Anon

Does the "absorb evil" work on living beings or you have be there when they die?

I worked that you can absorb 'generic evil/corruption' from objects and places (darksiders 2). But what about stuff like stuff like Artorias' Abyss taint? Could you just cleanse/absorb the corruption of people that arent completely gone without killing them?

The funny thing is,

1. Objectively I have to admit the thing has the same color scheme as Shadow the Hedgehog

2. My Jumper was declared an enemy of cats a while ago.

But it still looks pretty cool. I dunno, maybe I just respect a pokemon determined and spiteful enough to use its' own flaming, oily fur as a projectile weapon in battle so even if it loses its' opponent still gets covered in its' filth.

Cats are jerks, man. Besides, snakes are much more efficient mouse-eaters, and far more industrious. They take up less space and their venom means the mouse will die even if it escapes their jaws!

I mean, how can a creature that doesn't even have to bask in the sun to warm up justify sleeping for 18 hours a day?

Snakes are cool. However I doubt they're more efficient than house cats. Snakes take awhile to digest a mouse, a good size mouse could last them for a few weeks. Owls & Hawks I think are legit best mouse hunters. They need to eat a lot of mice/rats, because how much energy they burn flying. Plus they do it for food, instead of just fun.

To be fair Lucario's base form didnt end up destroying the fragile balance that is 1v1 singles play.

But yeah Pokemon's been branching into that business longer than Nintendo so its kinda expected. I mean at least their latest installment is a proper replica of a physical pokemon tabletop game made there. Game's a pain due to some of the imbal mechanics when you have a lack of variety of units initially but it cant be helped

Also between actually playing games I'm filthy mobage trash. Fucking VALKYRIE PROFILE'S LATEST INSTALLMENT, a prequel no less, is a mobile game. Touhou Project

Eientei
Servant 100
Tengu 400
Magician's Mind 500
Lunatic Red Eyes 700
Infernal Sun 1000
Lunar Dial 1400
Spell Cards
Jumper Stole the Precious Thing! 1300
Mists of Amnesia 1000

Back on the whole 'trying to do all the jumps I can stomach' thing. Still on the folders in the unimaged folder.

Did anyone not go Servant in this? Seems like Infernal Sun and Lunar Dial are the two best things here by quite a bit.

So on top of sun powers and temporal shenanigans I also have wave control (tend to pick up a lot of things that make people hallucinate for some reason), some extra magic and a tengu magpie form.

Bought Tengu for no reason really other than to underline the whole magpie thing. That and agility + magic is pretty useful I guess.

So while taking Tengu means I have natural animal tendencies magpies actually don't steal things (and actually get nervous around stuff). Nonetheless I'm going to be giving them a bad name through a kleptomaniac drawback. Also took an amnesia drawback and it's lucky I started locking up everything in the warehouse and leaving videos for myself towards the end of every jump after the first couple of amnesia drawbacks.

Eventually I'll use the key and it's for the best that I can't access my own stuff. Given I'll know the warehouse is mine at least I'll probably have some plunder in it by the end.

-Background: Mage (Free) -Mage. Maaaaaaaaage.
-Race: Lunarian (900CP) -FLOOP FLOOP. I guess I'm being a fluffy butt.
-Touhou Soundtrack (Free) -More music!
-Jumper's Theme (850CP) -And of course, I get my own theme song.
-Magician's Mind (800CP) (Discount) -More magical learning skills, huh? Alright.
-Doll Maker of Bucuresti (700CP) (Discount) -Oh holy shit, WHAT.
-Tai Chi Master (500CP) (Discount) -Well, THIS is pretty neat.
-Doctor of Miracles (100CP) -Wait. ...really? REALLY? What even IS this.
-Elemental's Secret (-100CP) (Discount) -Well this could be useful? Maybe?
-Spell Cards (Free) -Oh well.
-Silly Hats and Frilly Dresses (0CP)
Dice Rolls: Free Pick (Scarlet Red Mansion), 18 years old
-End Choice: Next Adventure

I actually refused to get anything above 400CP just because it seemed so absurdly silly. Plus I really didn't want to deal with drawbacks since it was jump No. 95 or something for me. Plus come on, magic with a dabbled side of biology know-how.

France is the fourth least fun country I've lived in. Still beats America.
So, it doesn't really effect human behavior in any major fashion, it certainly doesn't force you to love cats, and even if it does skew your emotions, you're still a rational person that can make decisions based off of knowledge instead of instinct?

Right, now that we've got that out the way.
What is /jc/'s favorite fungus, and why is it Cordyceps?
>>

>Look, the long and short of it is that you basically run on Looney Toon physics.

You treat the world like you're a character in a cartoon. Pull motorbikes out of your pocket, tank high explosives with only black smudges, run around on air like it's solid ground, fly by flapping your arms, walk on ceilings by reorienting your personal gravity, 'paint' in 3D, open walls like they were curtains, etc.
>>

Hey, call me crazy, but I seem to recall a perk that puts you in an alternate version of the jump you went too? Like, it would be pretty much the same, but there would be some differences? It did exist, but was removed; or 3. It exists, but in a different jump. Can anyone tell me which one it is?

I've stayed out of this argument, but I need to comment on that. Things that have chemical / biological effect on your decision making aren't so easily shrugged off as that. I don't know the degree to which toxoplasmosis effects you, but if it effects your decision making then you can't shrug that off by saying: decision harder. That's not how that works.

While western society may be too quick to medicate for psychological issues, sometimes the only fixes to chemical problem caused by outside influences are chemical solutions from outside sources.

>favorite fungus

>>
>>47189603
Not sure, I think the ambiguity is why it's consistently listed as one of the top-tier Worm powers. That said, I have my own beliefs.

I wanna say ridiculous, cartoony durability, though it works through physics warping as opposed to actually being tough, and it's more stretching and squashing then truly "toony" invincibility. You could easily survive having a piano fall on your head, but it would still hurt and you'd be paper thin for a while. If you stepped into Behemoth's kill aura, it's more likely your body would warp, expand, and spasm wildly and painfully for a bit due to all the energy he pumped into your body, as opposed to turning into a pile of ash with a pair of blinking eyeballs.

You can pull simple objects out of "hammerspace." Things with no moving parts or simple explosives are the easiest, and you can pull out more extreme things as your power grows.

You can impart an effect similar to your own "cartoony durability" onto other people. The catch being that you're limited to either touch range or when they're hit by things you've used your power on with the intent to affect them in this way. I.e. if someone your touching has an anvil fall on their head, you could make them be flattened instead of killed. If you watch someone across the street have an anvil fall on their head, they'd die a gory death. If you dropped an anvil on somebody's head with the intent to flatten them then they'd be flattened, otherwise they'd die a gory death.

Path to Victory gives you the perfect strategy guide for anything you want to do, whether that is beating a video game, killing superman, or conquering the multiverse.

The "Eidolon Jr." power gives you three slots that turn into whatever three mid-level powers best suits your current needs/desires, considering that Worm powers grow over time this will eventually be a large number of slots that give you whatever plot device level power is most appropriate at the time.

Soft Physics is rather tame by that standard.

In the Overlord jump, if I'm a level 100 realm of heroes warrior and take a class skill that gives me magic, like magic warrior or divine caster, would the magic it gives me go up to the 10th tier?
>>
hey can the faded map from the one peice jum give me something like this;

Grand-Grand fruit gives every devil fruit power in the lists made on the jump but with major restrictions
For tier 1 fruits you can use them for 12 hours but they have a 2 hour cool down before you can use the same power again
Tier 2 you can use for 1 hour but it has a 24 hour cool down
Teir 3 you can use for 30 minutes but it has a 1 year long cool down
Teir 4 you can use for 10 minutes but it has a 10 year long cool down
You can shorten cool down by half and double time you can use the power by choosing a type of devil fruit but the other two types cool down double and the time you can use said abilities is halved

Path to Victory is limited until post-Spark, anon. It's not a perfect strategy guide.
>>
>>47189850
You read a little to deeply into my verbiage. I'm just talking about toxoplasmosis, not the myriad variables that make up the physical construction of the human condition.
What statistics we've gathered on it barely show any skew, and it's not enough to blame it for cheating wives, and suicidaly stupid men. That's a whole pile of factors that basically amount to, "their problem."
>>
>>47189954
eh, ptv seems more like a crutch to me until you get your spark, and either way it's probably make life pretty boring, and the eidolon power is too unpredictable for my tastes, especially since the top-tier powers are off limits

>frekaing cane
freaking.
Damn I am sleepy.

But yeah about the Rwby part (Essentially your gun can also be a sword or a hammer or a scythe or a dagger and stuff).

As for other import options, there was uh oh yeah.
Akame ga kill can turn said item/sword/armor/whatever into a more badass Armor, A living organism(Can become sapient), Sword or generally many options on power (Including the power of the MC to adapt against attacks if armor).
Binbougami may turn it fully sapient however and give it attacks based on the powers the item in question had.
Fate jump allows you to become a Servant and you can fanwank no doubt that your Noble Phantasm is said weapon (Giving it...almost anything I suppose, but my fanwank is things related to the weapon or your own legend so to speak).
Yeah...thats all I can remember now.
>>
>>47189991
No. They're not Stands.
>>
>>47189991
As much as I do want to say "THROW IT OUT REDO," unfortunately Gold Roger did rule that essentially the Faded map was basically the option for OC Devil Fruits of any power-level.
>>
>>47189994
Nope, the limited aspect of Path to Victory is the part that Contessa refers to as "Walking the Path", full power Path to Victory makes you literally unbeatable by allowing you to flawlessly follow through with the path that Path to Victory lays out for you.

For a jumper it is limited to "Seeing the Path" or what the jump maker describes as the ultimate strategy guide until they get their spark.
>>
>>47190056
That said "all the fruit powers but with arbitrary time limits" far exceeds anything in canon.
>>
>>47189994
The fact that it's a perfect strategy guide instead of your own personal superplayer is the main distinction between the one you get and the Post-Spark/canon version though.

Combine with an auto pilot perk for extra BS.
>>
>>47190103
I mean it's blatently obvious you couldn't pick a single power so you're trying to weasel out by picking a single fruit that gives all the powers.

Which nobody on the show has anything near to.

What>>47190135 said,

If you have such a hard time choosing you can just get the Copy-Copy fruit, have your companions take the three best fruits, and copy them for yourself.

im sorry
>>
>>47190204
It's okay anon, we all make mistakes. Just try for a fruit a bit closer to what's seen in the series if you want your own OC fruit, okay? The wiki should be very helpful if you want some ideas and research.

>considering that Worm powers grow over time this will eventually be a large number of slots that give you whatever plot device level power is most appropriate at the time.

I thought that Worm powers didn't grow over time, and people just figured out how to use them better?

Either that or you outright break them.
>>
>>47190441
>Powers do grow with time and use, but this only expands already present parameters, it doesn't allow the development of new ones. Range, area, precision, strength, etc all increase, but your power only does what it could always do better, not gain new capabilities.

So, Power Combinations from Young Justice.

If I had some type of telekinesis with a particularly large range, and some type of pyrokinesis with a particularly small range, could I channel my fire through my telekinesis in order to effectively increase its range? ie I make a wall of force outside of my pyro range and instead of shooting fire from my hands, I shoot fire from the force my TK produces. The fire's still limited by its normal range, but it's anchored to something other than myself.

After you're done basking in the glory that is Kung Fury, go watch the music video. It's David Hasselhoff.
>>
>>47190475

Wait, so theoretically with the 'Eidolon Junior' power I could eventually recreate all the other available powers in the Worm jump for myself given enough time and experience to allow the power to grow?

Darwin's game is about a death game disguised as a cell phone app that revolves around various players each with their own Sigil (read super power) as they try to survive and figure out what exactly is going on. Players can earn points that they can use to buy various items or just large amounts of cash, these points are gained by fighting other players (often to the death) or by competing in events (read bloodbaths).

>>47190545
Technically yes but they would always be weaker than those other powers given the same amount of time to grow, you also would have no control over what powers you would get so it is supremely unlikely. The only control you have over powers you get from Eidolon Jr. is whether to keep or discard them.

Maybe? It's up for debate whether it would increase the number of slots available to you or just increase the strength of the powers in the slots you had. Personally, if you really want all the powers I'd go with Iterative Improvement, instead. Lets you "enchant" objects to grant whatever powers you want, initial effects are weak but you can stack it without limit to build them up to full strength. Combine it with Unlootable from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (makes it so that equipment you're using can't be taken from you or damaged) and you could infuse a grain of sand to grant you powers and then imbed it into your flesh for permanent access to it. Post-jump you might not even need that, powers are no longer Manton-limited once you leave Worm so you might be able to treat your own body as an "object".
>>
>>47190540
Realtalk, that's probably the greatest music video ever shot by man's hands.
Well, except maybe that one Steel Panther one.
>>
>>47190545
The number of slots you have could grow and the strength of the powers that fill those slots would also increase but other than that it would always function the same.

> Complete Arsenal - You are a poor man’s Eidolon. You have three slots which if given a minute will be filled with a power that somehow fits your current desires or needs in some way, starting out at mid range for a parahuman and growing to high mid range over the course of five to ten minutes. You have no control over the specifics of these powers beyond keeping or releasing a power, and while they will always be of use to your needs and wants these are not tailored to your exact whims. This doesn’t change the incredible versatility this power grants you, but these powers won’t be on the same level as the others on these lists.

Because Worm powers grow over time, but only improving their exiting capabilities not granting new ones, this power would grow in the number of slots and the strength of the powers that grow into them.
