I'm wondering if I can take Skala and Body Swap and then not use the body swap until after she finishes her business. More to the point, I wonder if she would be OK with that. Her sister is probably much more important to her than her magic or her body. Still kind of a dick move, but not nearly as much of a dick move as just doing it without really giving anything back.
Otherwise, I want Poppy and I want Pinwheel, but I'm not so sure I should take them together. Poppy's "advanced" magic isn't something I should be encouraging right of the bat. I do wonder however if she can put more power into her miniatures, make them progressively bigger and get them to do useful tasks. It's some pretty versatile magic if you are creative with it.

My point was that Nadine has no appeal at all (outside of the aforementioned fetish). Most of the magic isn't great, and most of what is good is only good for the person using it, but it's still more interesting than slow healing. Better on the day-to-day "comfy life".

Since it's open to interpretation, Limit Break + Efficiency creates a feedback loop. Limit Break raises the power of efficiency, which raises the power/duration of limit break. Ultimately this allows you to limit break forever.

I'm liking this so here's a critique:
The probability power is poorly-worded, a common error with a trivial solution. Include a caveat that the action must be something you could naturally accomplish. Otherwise you could "attempt to punch the world in half" and it would succeed, or "give yourself godhood".
The Limit Break power needs some serious spiel to define what counts as a "limit". For instance, the strawberry power. Is the limit the need to eat a strawberry? Could you eat anything and gain a heal? Or would one strawberry grant infinite heals? Or could you just infinite heal without eating anything? Basic upgrade doesn't seem to have any limits so would it be unaffected? The fact that some abilities may be unaffected should be acknowledge in the wording: "any other powers with limitations have them ignored".
Efficiency is an unusual name for a power than amplifies the end product rather than the process. A 10x more efficient punch just sounds less exhausting or taxing in terms of coordination and motor control, which would naturally allow for more strength - but not 10x strength. The wages example is just strange and feels more like luck manipulation - it just so happens that giving yourself super wages plays out to have no negative consequences. If so, this ability is considerably stronger than its peers.
Enjoy refining this, it's a good cyoa. I'd choose The Noble Path, Multiply and Tech Head. (btw, there's an easier way to word Multiply - "you may have up to five physical prescences, sharing a consciousness")

So, I'm interested but... Man this is pretty niche cyoa. So I take a conduit build and then figure out a business and then... Work out how many points I could get from that business and then multiply those points to see the amount of money I would have and then spend that money on things? This is absolutely a niche market idea and considering the not super ideal spread of points I have it's probably low cost but I really don't know what perks could be called what or even which... Am I meant to look at that table and only workout points from perks related to the business I make or what? And I really have no idea what perks would actually be turned into points, It could be argued that almost every perk I have is worth a point but that feels extra cheap... I just don't know where the line is or what to do here.
Could the creator or another anon give me a hand here and let me know what they think?

You wouldn't need to wait until the end of the day either (since that's basically a limit, and is thus broken with Limit Break). Also, you could choose Limit Break twice and use them both to break each other, resulting in you having all the powers without limits at all times.

Changing the name of efficiency is definitely for the best if the 10x end result is what you have in mind - my first suggestion would be "Magnifier" - although I still feel it's a very strong ability. Could you jump ten times higher, or think ten times quicker? Remember ten times more clearly? It largely invalidates the Basic upgrade, besides the resistance to mind-reading and power mimicry/theft (which I can't remember any option for...). Like maybe just 5-8 times better? But this is just opinion now.
As for Limit Break, there are plenty of fair uses for it now, but with the rules so loose it makes some stuff broken. Tightening it up is the best nerf.

Double edged sword, on one hand, they prefer mechanically simple single paged cyoas that are easy to make, have images that are convenient to search for and their demographic is very easy to entertain as long as the cyoa created includes their preferred fetish and ideal waifu traits as options. And demand for lewd and waifu based cyoas is extremely high.
This benefits potentially new cyoa authors who are inexperienced with graphic design and photo editing software and don't want to waste time and effort creating something that will just get forgotten and discarded after one thread. New waifu and lewd cyoas are frequently reposted and discussed in multiple threads after their initial conception which motivates and encourages cyoa authors to continue making them and hopefully improve and refine their cyoa making skills.
The negative is demand for classic adventure based cyoas are on a decline, no one wants to spend a couple of evenings and afternoons and countless hours searching for the right image piecing together another stardust, domain master or space refuge cyoa, when they're going to get a dozen replies and couple of builds at most and attract the attention of max/miners and autists out for blood. It's not worth the effort.

Someone wrote a short story about a Crucible meister, you can look it up on the wiki, were he constantly had to deal with naive and apathetic people trying to 3-point dip into Crucible for the powers. It sort of seemed to imply there was Barcelona tourism levels of traffic going on, or maybe that was because he was doing it for so long the narrative compressed the time for us.

Because making another Stardust cyoa takes weeks or months of time to plan and make, we only see the finished product and maybe a WIP a week or two before its release. I'm not whining about the lack of that specific genre of content only that its rare because there relatively big projects that many of us lack the motivation, focus and attention span to see it from start to finish, I'm merely stating my observations.

I'm working on a cyoa and need some guidance on a small part of the mechanics. There will be magic and strong/weak traits relating to elements. Problem is, I'm having trouble fleshing out the definitive list of elements. So I started out with the classical: water, fire, air, dirt (fucking magnets how do they work?). Void for the extended versions. Expounded upon it with the five chinese elements, adding wood and metal. And borrowed other qualities from some games I know.

Guy who has been working on the energy cyoa for some time now, here is what I have so far.
Chose one source of energy, you will gain all of the powers, strengths, and weaknesses from that source.
You become immune to any negative effects of your source of energy; No sunburns or cancer from solar, for instance.
You can put spare energy in a reserve to use for later, and the reserve will automatically take in excess energy you are not using.
Your reserve is needed to access your powers, and every use of your powers will drain your reserve.
When you are stuck away from your source of energy, you will start using up your reserve. Once it is drained, you will start feeling the weaknesses described in the power descriptions.
Powers can increase in strength with training, though this training tends to take years.
If a source of energy says there is a limit on your reserves, whether it is a set limit or your powers grow volatile once surpassed, that limit can be.
Diligence: Work and activity now empower you. You automatically no longer need to sleep, and are filled with a drive to work and train. All limits to the human body and mind have been removed; with enough training you can lift mountains, perform complex mathematical equations in your head in seconds, and even improve your senses to superhuman levels. These require exercise to maintain, but will only severely degrade should you spend too long without doing anything productive (you can keep up your muscle mass by studying geography). Should you not do enough work in a day, or stay inactive for too long, you will start feeling intense pain until you start working again.

Food: You can now draw energy from the consumption of foodstuffs. Your metabolism skyrockets and any food you eat becomes energy within seconds. Eating 4000 Calories a day will eliminate the need for sleep, eating more will make you feel energetic and could increase your physical prowess to near superhuman levels. You also gain limited control over heat, able to melt objects with a touch and turn ice into steam within seconds (though this takes a lot of energy). Should you stay in environments too cold for you to gather energy from, your body will start to freeze solid, stiffening joints after 12 hours and freezing completely solid after 36. This will occur in any temperature below 50 F’, and the process will speed up for every 5’ colder it is (1 hour for joint freezing, 3 hours for death).

You may now breathe underwater. Decided I should update the kaifu CYOA while it's still fresh in my mind. Gonna add 6 girls, 4 mutations, and move the 2 tech items, qualifications, and the champion of earth to another page for tech and events.
I'm trying to figure out how to split it up. I was originally thinking 6 items (and I already have 5 if I'm counting the little girl/kaiju and teleporter options) and 4 events, but I could also do 9 items and 3 events, and then let you choose 5 of any items or mutations.
What should some more mutations be? Fetish stuff is welcome, but I would prefer if it can be utilized as an offensive or defensive capabilities. Like enhanced fluids where any sexual fluids can double your strength for a limited time. The government will be making you milk her as a requirement. But what could that do for combat? I already did acid with the tongue mutation. Maybe it acts like normal, but in monster form solidifies in the air and acts like a hardening gel?
Become the little girl/kaiju will be in the tech section, and I'm also thinking of adding a teleporter there so it makes not moving in with her in her country a lot easier. What about the last two items?
And then there's the girls. Gonna have a nerdy girl, probably from South Korea, and there's gonna be a yandere from I don't know where yet.
Any other good archtypes/country stereotypes? I don't have UK, France, or Germany, and I know someone wanted the UK. And I also found art for a giant Biollante themed girl that would fit the bill for the yandere, and I might put in a giant drider. Fuzzy Mothra girl is also on the table.

My first real attempt at a cyoa revolved around delusions. I wrote up a bit in a text document, and wanted to throw it all in photoshop with images after finishing it up and polishing it off. Then I lost the txt file and interest in finishing that up.

The chains seem like the best direct magic by far. Earth to the moon is a long fucking way, retracting at light speed is real fucking fast, and complete manipulation is dangerous. I assume that even if they extend/retract at light speed, they don't actually exert relativistic force. I'd hate to boil the atmosphere away the first time I strike someone with them.
