Traveller is now paused until the end of next week when we begin in full pumping out finished companion sets and working on the next and hopefully last finished version of the CYOA. However I'll still be answering any questions and am still taking builds, just very slowly.

It's gonna be alright buddy.
Also, Stellaris comes out soon, and I would like to convert this thing into a CYOA with more options in the future.

What other spectrums exist outside of the whole-

As well what other forms of governance are there, and what other potential traits could be used?

I guess now you have to fap to the dudes.
I imagine it's also hard to tell if people miss one or are just silently doing them, which I guess makes it hard to tell when to repost, and which I also understand since posting too many of my choice lists makes me feel autistic.

Astrid for superior strength and her strategic mind. The Book + The White Palace ensures my people are compelled to follow my every word. Mirror because vanity.
Bloodfruit and Bloodclouds might not be the best food choices but they work and they fit together. Rich and Scenic for a visual improvement that comes with better resources.
The Pale Ones will find themselves reconquered with Astrid's help, its citizens will be guided back to my embrace (book+palace) and Anke will help me rebuild our lost territory. Werewolves are friendly so I might as well border them.Am I correct in thinking that the werewolves intro hints at a Werewolf Chieftain cyoa?

Free Market Liberalism vs Muh Crown operations?
Kind of fits with collectivists vs individualists.
>>46840302
It's actually pretty simple compared to the last project, just lay out everything and use the stuff I've learned to make it pretty, perhaps throw in some of those inevitable end-game events.
>>46840185
Most of the Pale Ones are basically beyond your help. Only one cure for cannibal crazies. And yeah there's a sequel hook but not sure whether it'll go anywhere as I'd struggle to find the art. Plus it'd be a bit of retreading old ground. Also sort of considering Goblin King about uniting the gobbos under your banner.
>>46839647
YES
But how does having consorts work? Before that it sounded like the queen business was about monogamy?
>>46840410
It's a simple fact of nature that kings get as much poon as they want.
>>46840410
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dac6EiPABHU
If it's not with another vampire not cheating. Plus thinking of doing a potential extra wives page. Like pick a couple of specially selected/bred mortals for the whole 3 wife fandango a few years into your rule and nobody thinks you're going to pull a Vlad.
I mean it's not like you're not going to make other vampires and it's not like they're not going to be busty women.
Now we just need that other guy's OC.
>>46840550
I don't like that justification. Like I'm cool with the justification of "You're the king, that means you can get a harem of consorts because that's what kings do.", not so much with a racial attitude of "It only counts with vampires."
>>46840550
>Three wives
>Implying I'm not going to have vampire tits, goblin tits, werewolf tits, and however many mortal tits you provide on this consort DLC.
>>46839569
Who was the artist for these again?
>>46840592
Vampires are expected to have sex with the people they eat but if you get a vampire wife and then spend all your time with another vampire lady her feelings might get hurt.
Sure she gets it that sometimes you want to sleep with something warm that you can eat but what has this other vampire woman got that she hasn't?
What's wrong with her fangs anon?
>>46840657
Matt Dixon. Most of the 1st and 3rd page art anyway.
>>46840720
See, I don't like that. If she's my wife, I don't want her sleeping with mortals. You shouldn't have a hard time understanding how that pisses people off.
>>46840550
That makes sense. And it would mean Slipper is not waifuable i guess.
>>46840592
>"It only counts with vampires."
That's a common trope for vampires and for some others that consider themselves above the mortals or "prey".
>>46840550
No, thank you. I want this to be a monogamous monarchy. My ambassadors can go look for husbands or something.
>>46840746
Of course you don't, woman should stay faithful, sleepeing around is a man's prerogative. Biological drive, testament of masculinity etc.
>>46840746
You're not thinking like a vampire, friend. The entire image of the vampire is soaked with sexuality.
If you want to run a puritanical marriage, I guess you can. It's your adventure, anon.
>>46840812
Vampires might be soaked in sexuality, but that doesn't necessitate them sleeping with their food. The founder of the modern depiction, Dracula, did seduce women, but he didn't literally sleep with any of them. The bloodsucking is a sort of stand-in for it, it's steeped in sexual imagery and implications, but he doesn't actually pork anybody.
>>46840746
Yeah but a Vampire King ain't a Vampire Queen.
Even if the King is male and the Queen is female by that point the Queen was chaste up until you met and now is magically in love. I mean she gets that you might want to sleep with mortals as most other vampires do but she's not really going to start now.
Unless you say you're cool with it at any rate.
>>46840756
Eh, she ain't got no fangs.
>>46840774
Cool, set them all up with Wormwood or something. I mean he's the one who's basically been pushing busty candidates and art at you this entire time.
>>46840720
>vampires have sex with their prey
Yeah, no. Let me write something in my trusty book of dictatorial fun:He who lays with prey like one lays with his bloodmate is an abomination and shall be put to death.
Let my rule of monogamous terror begin!
>>46840851
Okay. Like I said, nothing is stopping you from not sleeping with anyone else other than your wife, and vice versa.
It's called Choose Your Own Adventure for a reason.
>>46840864
Ooh, good idea.
>>46840862
Let me be clear about my feelings here, if me and her can keep it monogamous, no sleeping with mortals, then I'm happy. I don't mind that Wormwood suggests consorts to me (I don't HAVE to take them), nor do I mind you doing an extra waifu page (again, not mandatory), and I'm very sure that tons and tons of people would be happy to get multiple waifus so if you want to make a page, then by all means. I was just concerned about being able to keep it in an arrangement I was personally happy with, is all. Other people being able to get their multiple wives or fuck some mortal they're eating is something I'm fine with.
>>46840864
>
Seems sure to make you unpopular.
>>46839647
Did Caratacus Birch just cuck me out of having a Batfolk Queen...?
>>46840935
>Ooh, good idea.
Or you could not force it on everyone else and just tell your queen that you want to be monogamous. Given she's not into sleeping with anyone else anyway at the offset she'd be overjoyed.
>>46839569

>Rich

>Werewolves
Why mess with with what works? Also, getting on good terms with a potential wild card and trading gold for huge cows as a beginning blood source.
>Pale Ones
Trade cows and fruit for land to herd cows and grow fruit. Fairly basic. Also, this overlaps with Lost a lot - should that option be changed?
>Reptilians
Standard-issue political alliance - we don't trust them, they don't trust us, but we make peace to avoid making war.
I plan on making peace with as many areas as I can - such as trading shiny baubles to the fairies for magic items, staying the fuck away from Dream-ville, and mostly just not aggrivating the Bible Belt.

Brief overview: Grab minerals from Goo-land, trade with Demons for weapons, use weapons to kill the Hunters.
In-depth overview: Drusa trains large bats to act as flying steeds and small birds to act as scouts. Goos presumably move slowly and can't fly, so first a flock of birds will be sent in to determine both safe locations to land and where minerals are residing right on the surface. Once locations are found the daredevils are sent in on flying bats. They land, place explosives made from Bloodoil, then they and the flock of birds quickly pick up everything they can grab with their hands or beaks.
Once the hoard of minerals are taken back the craftsmen and artists from The Great Pyramid get to work, turning them into greatly beautiful works of arts more than the minerals themselves. Scenic should provide some inspiration to them. The works of art are then taken to the outer layer of hell, where they are bartered for weapons; fine art should be particularly popular among envy, greed, and pride demons.
Once we have enough super weapons to arm vampires to the teeth, Drusa sends in birds to scout the Hunters' area before we hit them fast and hit them hard, using bat mounted vampires as heavy air support and fueling demonic machines with bloodoil.
Once the Hunters are destroyed, there will be fewer mortals who know about vampires. We also get to steal their stocked armaments and keep some humans as bloodpets, in addition to expanding our land. After the conquest, sit back and fortify what lands we own, continually building up our army to prepare for potential invaders.

>Wilhelmina
If I am going to do this whole 'vampire king' thing, I will need the right education.
>The Ring
One of the few things I was remotely skilled at as a mortal, now amplified? How excellent.
>Batfolk
If my people do not find my looks repulsive, what harm is there?
>The White Palace
May my people be of good cheer and joyous disposition.
>Scenic, Lost, Bloodsprings, Bloodfruit
Bring me your tired, your starving, your huddled masses yearning for a new king. Let my people share in the gift I have been given.
>Werewolves, Pale Ones, Trolls
The addition of new territory to my kingdom is an undeniable boon, as is the presence of a trusted ally and a useful workforce.
At long last.

>Wilhelmina
One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars. I need a Queen capable of shrewd maneuvering.
>The Crown
I am the Vampire King and under my rule, we will no longer be desiccated leeches at the edge of the world. We will be creatures of dark glory once again.
>Batfolk
"We became less human and more... divine." Why settle for anything less than the apex?
>Creepy Manor
It worked for Vorador. And with enough economic power and fortune and a queen capable of utilizing our resources wisely, our country will only grow.
>Bloodsprings
>Bloodfruit
>Bats
>Rich
A sustainable natural resource of blood for times without mortal livestock, ensuring my people are never hungry, and a land that provides sustenance and security.
>Werewolves
>Demons
>Trolls
Allies in both military might, savage hunger, and useful labor. With our riches, we will secure alliances with the werewolves and solidify our millennia of cooperation. The demons provide weaponry of infernal power that cannot be matched by our enemies. And lastly, the trolls will happily work to build and expand our kingdom into a modernized and industrious bastion worthy of our dark glory.
VAE VICTIS! Although Anke can just... watch the door.
>>46841652
I'm really so surprised there's so many people who want to play second fiddle to the queen.
>>46841691
>implying she doesn't lust for a King who can take her control away from her
Besides, of the options, only she and Drusa seem to have actual leadership skills and that can't be undersold.
>>46841652
Actually, I think I'd swap out the Crown for the Orb. More immediate, tangible benefits. But at the same time it seems like it could be stolen fairly easily.
>>46841691
You expect any of these nerds have experience ruling kingdoms?
>>46839647
Okay, last time i choosen Astrid and that would be my choice if would went in blind as the story goes without knowing that there would be items and such, because vampire kingdom sounds like a volatile and dangerous place both from inner and outer threats and you want to have strengh. But now i will cheat and coose Drusa, i like her more as a wife and her powers give more utility while still giving a bit of battle abilities, and combos very well with some later options.
>Drusa
>The Ring
Diplomacy is always the best option both in internal and foreign politics and i would like my people to like me. I think we have enough power to wield war if needed without the help of the items. And haveint the Ring aslo means we will have more allies in the wars which is more flexable than straight up having a super weapon. The Orb and the Sword are more badass, but that one is more practical.
>Mirror
I want to look human right now, but maybe over the centuries i would grow to become the master race batfolk.
>Grand Cathedral
I want even more loyal subjects even if i am not that excited about the vampire religion. And having more fanatics would also help in the possible wars. Aesthetically i would rather prefer the Pyramid, but it's bonus is just not that good. I hope it's possible to tweak cathedral's design from Gothic to something more cool like Baylonian or Egyptian or Roman or Greek. I guess i could be more on the fence about living in the church, but haveing a huge bedroom on the top floor kinda sold me on it.
>Bloodfruit
I would rather have Blood oil as it is more delicious and have other uses, but i feel it can be more vulnerable to sabotage during wars and it's not fun haveig oil rig all over my beautiful country. Still not fully decided on that one.
>Days
My main beef with bieng a vamire in any setting is that like daytime and don't want to live in eternal ive so this one is a must.
(cont.)
>>46841829
You're not secretly a member of foreign royalty?
>>46841879
>Bats
Totally usefull, practical and adorable, especially with Drusa's powers. I could command large hosts of bats in battle, do all kind of trick, it's just too good. Maybe do that bat fist trick from that silly Dracual Untold movie. Aslo mad style points.
>Lost
Now that sucks. I would rather take a second food option or even more likle the Climate to have more cool different places in the country, but it's just feels wrong not to save those poor fucks. It's just feels wrong to live there knowing more of your kind suffer somewhere nearby. Not something a responsible king would do.
>Werewolves
Good allies, good place and what is most important those huge animals for me to command in battle. Perfect. The waifu is also the most sexy one. A bit fishy how she decided not to protect the person she was, um... protecting. Hopefully it was a Jaime Lannister situation or something. As to the subject of monogamy and sleeping around, i'll see to it as it goes, how my relationship with my wife would be etc. But if i would indeed take consorts, that would be the one i would want. And as for her habit of hitting people with a bat, i guess we can breed an armored bat breed for her or somethinglook, a bat pun!
>Goblins
Seems like a chill place and i would like a goblin waifu, Drusa and Polly are all curvy after all a small girl would really be handy
>Pale Ones
Not sure if we need more territory that much, but i guess it's another of those king's choices. Slipper would make a good asset, even if i can't waifu her due to her bieng a vampire(even if a crippled one). Had she not awoken yet i would probaly left that one for later, but i kinda fell bad leaving her ther for some centuries(though that might be not responsible to allow emotions to influence your practical choices like that. would be a good ide to take out the Hunters asap instead and don't give them those centuries to prepare for war.
Also, whats the use of the mushreooms from Goblin land?

>Baker's Dozen
Well, I do owe Sandra for giving me a place to stay. She's been so good to me, and I can't say no to that sweet face.
>Wrong Kind of Magical Girl
Seriously, that's a messed-up thing to do to somebody. I'm sure Sandra will understand if I maybe get a little charged during the proceedings, and I know Ira will appreciate the effort.
>Orders Are Orders
I'm not exactly fond of framings either. I wonder if this has anything to do with Dan's distaste for Lamias.
Let's do this.
>>46841939
Yeah, woulda been neat but hey, I imagine there's just plain no art by the artist of a bat vampire female. You can find that stuff lying around but not even in remotely the same style.
>>46841939
Well, just have to settle for being the batfolk master race. Complete with monster penis to better share with the 'ambassadors.'
>>46841957
Making one of those might me fun. I've made my own CYOAs plenty of times before, but I've never contributed to anything of that sort. Are there any official guidelines I should know about?
>>46841805
Actually, fuck that. The Ring is amazing simply because it never needs to leave your person. It's objectively the best just for that reason.
I really liked this one when i found it.
>>46841967
So it's either shack up with one of them, make a dangerous and likely humiliating gamble, or get married?

Second part lets you be a female king anyway so it's not against the law or anything.
Maybe being a Vampire King automatically gets you referred to as a he regardless of your actual gender.

Drusa (old and thus knowledgeable, respected source of advice for others, great powers, laid back personality, useful powers that let me wax poetic about my children of the night and how hungry they are. My only reservation is that she's gone a couple millennia without having sex; with that little libido, is our bedroom going to be dead? I guess the last page implies I can/must take consorts.)
Ring (Diplomacy for the greatest good)
Beastly (another diplomatic choice; I also like being stronger than the normal sort,)
High Tower (We gonna be sci-fi vampires.)
Blood Oil, Scenic, Rich, Lost (science again, but also better than human blood blood source; Lost to expand kingdom faster; scenic because I love beauty; and bloodworms, because backup blood source, drugs, and the spice must flow. I nearly took rich for utility, but I'm taking Goo instead)
Borders is tough. Friendly for ease, or hostile to stomp out threats early? I want to create a pax sanguisuga that will last for a thousand thousand years.
The Hunters. It seems a touch off-key to begin a kingdom of enlightenment, peace, and prosperity with war, but I don't see much choice, they don't really seem like they'll be motivated by reason in the future. So I'll slowly, steadily convert their lands and people into mine, improving both my kingdom and the lives of an oppressed proletariat serf class. Their BDSM nun "ambassador" doesn't hurt either.
The Goo. For wealth, and maybe my science kingdom can help them eventually.
Trolls. So that my population will live in glorious giant troll built city castles.
Honorable mention: The Demon's Batty is the hottest ambassador: I love horny girls. Dreams was an interesting idea, but ultimately too unpredictable. I would've taken Pale Ones if I hadn't taken Hunters, but I'll have enough territory as it is. Faeries also had a hot ambassador, but I don't like annoying mad enemies, and I can't convert them the way I can hunters.
>>46843574
>and I can't convert them the way I can hunters
You can enslave them with pacts offering shiny pebbles for lifetime servitude, that's the reason they hate you in the first place. But yeah, as always with fey, it's better to steer clear of them.

>Still might want the book to make it illegal to bully your retarded waifu though.
That's not very nice anon. Vanessa's more my type, but we don't have time for all that sneaking around and international thieving shenanigans, even though it 'd be way fun. Being Vampire Queen and Holy Blood Church Representative has lots of responsibilities. Plus if we're going to be spreading vampire faith into all those hostile lands and I didn't even have strong monstrous form or take the sword so having super toughness durability might be helpful for surviving. Plus Libbie's intro was mega cute.

So I'm a loving mother with an adorable daughter by day, a kung fu fighting revolutionary by night. I love it! I wonder if my little girl can stay in the Orange Valley too...By the way, the fact that you had Lucifer and Alice as mother and daughter is both hilarious and adorable.

I make it a point to not look up the images beforehand. That's apparently a Fates character I never matched up to get. And a man. The hair is really weird, though. If there's some explained reason for that, don't tell me. I'd rather find it out if/when I play it again.

Blind picks:
>Mystery Gift
I don't really get how it works or how it's supposed to be beneficial, but it's still cool.
>Telekinesis
Pretty much what I had in mind. Although Saitama probably wouldn't regard Tatsumaki as pesky if she wasn't so hostile towards him.
>Fairy Duo
"Baka and Maga," lmao. Cute! But the benefits could be a bit more explicit.
Sighted picks:
>Madame Butler
I'm going to combine this with "Siege" because her sheer hypercompetence would probably lead to the revolution unfolding exactly like I want it to with minimal suffering.
>Siege
World revolution! A new utopian era of peace! (I won't go into specifics so this thread doesn't end up degenerating into political shitflinging.)
>Dear Mother (daughter)
The "be the little girl" option ftw. Hopefully, the cognitive dissonance caused by picking this and "Siege" at the same time manage to work out.
>>46844469
>I don't really get how it works or how it's supposed to be beneficial, but it's still cool.
Basically, whenever you're around someone who you'd be cool having sex with, just not right now, that person will rape you.
>>46843760
Madame Buttler
Legendary Dragon
Orange Valley
Form a superhero trio
>>46844540
That doesn't sound very beneficial.
I mean, I do have a rape fetish, but that sounds like it'll be very inconvenient. Also STD hotbed.
>>46843760
Didn't really do any blind pics, but I submitted the Oranges and the Owlbears. I really like how both of them turned out. Although I don't have a yard, I have an apartment, so I'm not sure where those Owlbears would be living...
Anyway, think I'd add the Nerdy Kobold to it. He sounds like an awesome bro, and I need a good roleplaying group. Swapping to a fantasy race might be pretty cool too.
>>46844469
>Mystery Gift
Basically, it has two parts. 1) anyone that you'd want to have sex with when you're in the mood for such will try to have sex with you but ONLY when you're not in the mood. 2) You can make mystery boxes. As long as you inform the person that they're bound follow any instructions in the box once they open it & they willingly open it, they're forced to do so. This has use in enforcing bets, for example.
>Telekinesis
Well, Saitama doesn't seem to enjoy other heroes all that much. He was very hesitant to "train" Genos at first, too. Besides, I didn't want it to seem too exploitable.
>Fairy Duo
Cirno makes things cold & can conjure ice (fairly durable object creation, but the objects can't really have joints). Clownpiece can teleport you anywhere you want to go.
>>46844540
Way to go, being more concise than me!
>>46844633
Well, there's a couple of disease curing items to help with that.
>>46844633
It's basically a trap option. I mean, it's a box of rape, of course it was going to be.
>>46843760
>>46844664
Hey, got two questions for you. First, would the Orange help with Ms. Skeltal, or is that injury a little too far gone for her to heal? Second, if you pick mom and daughter, do you age or are you forever the little girl/grown woman?
>>46844721
Oranges would extremely painful for her. The orange healing, while quickened, is not instant. Living with a partial body like that for a few weeks would be kinda... horrible. You do still age with that option. If you don't want you, you might want to consider Moral Counterpart.
>>46844808
Hmm. It'd be up to her if it's worth it, I guess. Anyway, I wanted to make sure I could age if I picked it. Being the little girl is nice, but every little girl has to grow up one day. Or at least should.
>>46843760
road trip: "none of htem" -> "them"
siege: "coroporation" -> "corporation"
blind picks were Road trip, Mystery Gift, Death maid. Only really disappointed in Mystery Gift.
non-blind picks would be: orange valley, moral counterpart, telekinesis.
I guess I become a super hero that solves crime by magically making people virtuous, and also has superfluous combat and telekinetic abilities.

>>46839569

>>46842090
Id - because that seems like it'll be useful after it becomes morning. Also, terrors are jokes.
Clear Sight Necklace - It can kill anything that I look at for 20 seconds.
Watch of Tranquility - Make that 4 seconds.
Ella - I'm acting on the assumption that it isn't as hard to look at Vanities if it is through the Clear Sight Necklace because the necklace seems fairly passive & the Vanities specify "physically difficult."
To pay for the watch, I'll throw in Contempt and Hatred. My setup is best against slow, single-targets. These two can be very deadly, but they just get slower and weaker as they get close until they disappear.

Blind:
Mystery Gift
Telekinesis
Dear Mother
Everything turned out pretty much exactly as I expected. I figured Telekinesis would either give magical powers similar to Tatsumaki or you would get involved with a character like her in some way, Powers works out better. I was expecting Dear Mother to be the little girl option, so that turned out exactly right. I shouldn't have chosen the Mystery Gift/Box of Rape, but I knew that anyway. On the other hand, at least it would guarantee that I could have sex now that I'm too young, though that's probably temporary.
I'd swap Mystery Gift for Moral Counterpart. I was tempted to go with that as one of my blind picks to begin with, but the Yaoi overtones worried me. Coupled with Dear Mother though and it's perfectly fine. While I'm not so happy with the idea of having an Evil twin (I'd be the good one obviously), the statment that they "get along with each other really well" makes it work, plus it offers eternal youth.
>>46844097
CARLOS NO
>>46845247
Hmm. If she's already completely loyal to me, I feel like I might be able to do it naturally. I think I'll take the risk and do Owl bears instead of contact, if only because animal companions (that also let me fly) are awesome
>>46845349
While it is better for many, weaker enemies than the Clear Sight Necklace, I also had some ulterior motives in my choice...
>>46843928
>I have advisers for that.
Exactly!
>>46845247
Question, can the little girl from the Dear Mother option go to the Orange Valley? Also, the Siege thing won't put her in danger will it?
>>46842090
Focus of the Super-Ego: Extremely useful. Understanding the world around me will really help with dealing with this kind of nightmare, as will being able to turn off my fear.
Sword of Transcience: Best weapon for actually dealing with monsters.
Watch of Tranquility: Exceptionally useful, and gives me a fighting chance.
Laura: Helps with that fighting chance thing. The only one who really knows anything, which is extremely important.
Shadows
Terror: Mooks. Not terribly hard to deal with, especially when I can actually rush them when they get too close.
Doubt: Basically something I should ignore. If they're going to kill me, I'm dead anyway.
Spite: Extremely annoying, and I wish I didn't have to deal with these. I'm going to have to rely on my Superego a lot to avoid their traps.
Hatred: Hey, guess what my item combination is really good at?
Contempt: The worst. All I can think of is to run past them and cut them up when they get close to me, and hope I take them out before they release their spores.
Isolation: Not that bad. Chop it to bits when it closes in, and don't let it touch me.
Interpretation: Kill the Night. I don't know how long Daybreak is going to be, and the last thing I want to do is kill other people. The more people we have, the more likely it is we're going to survive.

With all the builds that went with Tertia before I'm personally surprised nobody who has posted has a build with them.
>>46845578
Yeah, there's enough oranges there to feed your whole family. The monks are pretty good with kids, too. Well, normally the danger your family is in would be based on how active a roll you play in the revolution. But if she's hiding away in a hidden valley being guarded by dozens of superhuman monks (while possibly having some martial arts training of her own), I think you don't need to worry in the slightest.
>>46845093
I always assumed it was kinda variable, but from what Highlander has said it seems to just mean that your character becomes stronger progressively. Kinda like a shonen hero.
>>46845653
Excellent! Now I just have to think of who I want to overthrow, whether to go for the silly ideas like forcing America to make anime real, or the silly ideas like taking down North Korea and sending Kim Jong-unstable to outer space...
>>46844808
If you take daughter and moral counterpart, does the mother's affection extend to both or only the one that's you? Basically, are you treated equally as sisters?

>>46840550
Man I'm just a huge fan of your writing style, you could make a dlc about selecting furniture, waifus, or world conquest and I would probably love it
>>46846145
As a prelim
Tertia
Orb or Book
Mirror
Black Castle or White Palace
Werewolves or Goblins
Hunters
Reptilians?
I want to wipe out the hunters. Their land, being former vampire country, should also be easy to annex even though it doesn't say so specifically. I could definitely use an ally, especially for such an early fight, hence one of the two friendly races. As for the reptiles, keep your enemies closer. As consummate schemers I expect them to be the greatest long-term threat, though Tertia could definitely mitigate that.
But I could change my mind, it's only preliminary now.
>>46845643
Challenge accepted.
>>46839569
Tertia: Best queens in general. They're fun, evidently quite clever, and there's three of them. Plus, precognition.
>>46839610
The Ring. I considered the Orb, but while it has a very nice overlap with the Tertias, it's also just a bit redundant. Also, I can always delegate people out for tactical genius but a king needs the skills of an orator or a diplomat, and I really need to use that to de-spaghettify.
Beastly Vampire. A good balance between the Mirrors and the Batfolk, with aspects of both to represent myself as king of all three types.
Black Castle: It's a hard choice between this and the White Castle, but we've got a lot of work to do, so strength of will seems like a good way to start that. Plus, secret passages are fun for the Tertias.
Bloodfruit: While it'll take some effort to get it up and going, it's the best regular food source once we do have the orchards and industry ready, and is pretty much a shoe-in.
Scenic: Not only is this extremely practical, given how useful giant trees will most likely be, but it's also something I'd personally always take if I could. I love scenic views.
Rich: Kind of a shoe-in. We need some sort of valuable resources for trading and exploitation, especially as a brand new kingdom.
Lost: I really can't not pick this one. Also, means I'll have a lot more vampires, which is never a bad thing.
>>46839647
Werewolves: Pretty much a given. It's good to have allies when you're just getting started.
Goblins: Also pretty much a given. Especially that they're our staunchest allies. I bet the Tertias would also love their ambassador.
Trolls: Perfect trading partners, and would really be useful in helping to rebuild the Vampire Kingdoms.
Guess I've always been a bit of a peaceful sort. I figure this will be a good chance to rebuild the Vampire Kingdoms, and make it into a place that'll last once our more hostile and dangerous neighbors start reconnecting with us.
>>46846287
It was a while in the making, I honestly took mild inspiration from the marketplace side cyoas.
From the trains, business, and bazaar Ideas, it sort of blossomed due to inspiration and the occasional suggestions.
If you can think of a world which has an "idea" that's different from the rest of the worlds and can actually fit within the conduit schema, you can probably work it out.
I've already got like three additional world ideas that can probably work. (Though I'd like to finish Rorch First)
Funnily enough Rorch actually influenced someone else to make a Mortal Level side cyoa for it. (Pic Related)

>Bride - Astrid
As cute as Magdalena is, she doesn't seem to have much of a personality beyond wild fucking (and I do mean fucking) animal. Astrid seems to have her head on right, can fight with the best of them, and seems chill enough as a Queen.
>Symbol of Office - The Ring
The right word in the right ear can make all the difference and it seems to have a rather successful history for those who make use of it.
>Form - Beastly
I'm not ready to go full monster, but I've always been fond of less-human vampires. Intimidation without provoking mind-shattering fear is nice too.
>Estate - The High Tower
Because knowledge is power!
Vampire Country
>Bloodoil
While it'll take some work to get a steady supply going, but it's potential as something other than a food source (which humans can always serve as the main source of) seems really useful.
>Skylines

>Rich
More resources and wealth is always nice. Maybe someone will figure out what some of the weirder rocks can be used for.
>Lost
Doesn't seem right to just leave them trapped, plus they'll form a loyal and ingenious power base for me.
>>46847126
Borders
>Goblins
Like the Fairies, but actually friendly. Having allies so close early on will be nice, allowing me to build up a good rapport with the various factions that reside within the Confederacy. Plus, I can't turn down the opportunity for green shortstacks.
>Trolls
Potential work-force and allies, Trollheim seems like a scenic (if dangerous) place to visit. Anke will be useful for making my capital an impressive place to rule from.
>Demons
A steady supply of weapons will be useful if (more like When) we get in a fight and the demons seem like decent enough neighbors if you're a vampire. Having my own personal arms-maker and hellish squeeze is also a nice touch.
Not really sure what I intend for my long-term goal, but I'll have the time to figure it out if I take the time to figure out the overall situation. I guess making sure Vampire Country is secure and it's people safe and happy is a good a place to start as any.

Moral Counterpart was a lot weaker than I had hoped. You can change their morality but only by touch, which by the way is boring compared to being a real
Angel/demon who make then change their minds by whispering in their ears.
It's weak, not how I imagine Angels and Demons to work. Worst of all, the Angel would never do this to a person, so you're forcing me to be the Angel.
I don't even see the option as being Slice of Life-y shenanigans with a magical twin. It's just "meh"

I'm 99% sure you picked those for the synergy with Drusa but shit, how do you justify picking worms over actual fruit or something.

Maybe because it tastes like blood and is a drug. I mean, I don't consider either of those things to be worth eating worms for, but those are the only two reasons you'd choose them over the fruit.

Me, I'm more interested in the update for >>46848806, which the author confirmed is being worked on (see >>46852683).
Regarding to the new dungeon CYOA I wish to make, it is beginning to look somewhat similar to Domain Master, with elements of my other previously made CYOAs.
I would like to ask a few questions before I will proceed on any further development.
1. What type of lore (if any) would you like to see?
2. The "power level" question. How should I balance it, and how powerful should you be regards to the world around you? Should the player be given little, half or more of the options?
3. Last but not least, what are things you would enjoy seeing, detailed or just in general? Diplomacy, comfort, certain rooms, minions, powers, personal, etc?
And finally, I am personally conflicted about pursuing a new project. It is something I wish to make, but after my previous project I have doubts about everything. Since magical power fantasies and intrigue are my passion, it might not be as original anymore considering I have made quite a few.
>>46855499
The player should be a final boss, more or less. A band of heroes would have to really have their shit together to beat you.
Also, why have doubts? You enjoy making things, there's nothing wrong with doing so. Even if they're not everyone's flavor, there's still plenty that like and enjoy them and you enjoy making them, so there's zero reason not to.

Something sufficiently similar to the original (i.e. you're just there to push others into greatness, or something to that effect)
>2. The "power level" question. How should I balance it, and how powerful should you be regards to the world around you? Should the player be given little, half or more of the options?
I agree with >>46855550 on this, final boss powerlevel sounds like the way to go (so most likely "more of the options").
>3. Last but not least, what are things you would enjoy seeing, detailed or just in general? Diplomacy, comfort, certain rooms, minions, powers, personal, etc?
Personally more interested in comfort, powers, personal stuff, and minions. Not necessarily in that order.
More genie galleries!
>>46855499
I would like to know the attitude of the public, major powers, and monster races towards dungeons. Do monster races exist outside of dungeons? Could I walk outside? Could my minions?
Being able to buy half the options seems like a lot. Building a fantasy character is about specialization, right? Maybe have tiers or large of drawbacks that allow a large power range. That way people who just want a peaceful little sex dungeon can do their thing without kingdoms trying to shut them down, while other people can decide to conquer the world and war with multiple kingdoms or whatever.
I liked Necromancer's Unique minions. Corrupting adventurers. Shapeshifters. Player Races. Some kind of cognitive persistence for your minions (like the dungeon meister option that makes your minions resurrect instead of making new ones). Maybe mini bosses that you can stat out using the character creation options, but with fewer points.
>>46855597
the Troll Hunter CYOA that exists in parallel got an update, but I wasn't aware the Troll one did.
>>46855578
It's the same things over and over again, though, with barely anything that makes CYOA 1 distinguishable from CYOA 2.
Always about being a girl. Is it really so bad to have a dick?
>>46855499
Personally, I think Dungeon Keeper was spot-on thematically.
Power wise, I always like when you start out weaker, but with potential to grow. So maybe ~1/3 of the beginning options?
I really like a balance. Let them make the stereotypical dungeon crawl, a luxury hotel that secretly eats bad patrons, or a genuinely nice sex-fest. If I had to choose one, make traps and environmental hazards the main focus.

Blood oil will keep the country fed in the long term, and Vanessa is well suited to conduct industrial espionage to steal all the cutting edge oil drilling technology from mortal corporations. Scenic will make everything beautiful, plus throw long suffering Wormwood a bone. Rich will give us all the oil and gas we need to power a first world nation without having to constantly import fuels from earth. Plus they all give supernatural stuff for my scientists to research. Lost is just doing the moral thing by saving some of my people.

>>46855935
It's sad to think they have such a romantic view of a gender.
>>46856170
>Goblins
>Hunters
>Trolls
We need a supply of blood until we get the oil rigs running, which dovetails nicely with the need to take out the hunters quickly. The plan is to round up some mercenaries from friendly goblin warbands and start raiding the hunter country. We'll start with taking peasants back as cattle, but as we begin to gain territory we'll set up actual governing bodies to keep them in line. The ones most willing to turn on their own to serve us will get transformed first, followed by more and more of the population as we gradually move over to blood oil. Anke's trolls will be a big help in actually setting up the cities in our country, but other that trade for magic mushrooms with the goblins, my main focus will be on making the vampire country a home base for my influence on Earth, which is the real prize because it's the place with all the computers and cruise missiles and junk.
Converted hunters will have to be second class citizens that are restricted to the vampire country itself for a few decades until they can be taught how to blend in on Earth. The Reptilians would be our main rivals there, but hopefully we can negotiate with them to lay out spheres of influence that each side will sitck to.
For the ambassadors, I won't make them consorts unless I'm sharing them with Vanessa (assuming she even swings that way.) Either way, I'd probably get one of the other thousands of applicants from the goblin kingdom instead of Gobriella, one who can actually perform diplomacy and (if they're going to be a consort) is more human, like a drow or something. Actually, her backstory makes it seem like I should get Shy regardless of whether I border her kingdom, since it all happened on Earth before I was even turned.
And since we're apparently neighboring the afterlife, where do followers of the blood church go after death? Hell? If so, I might want to switch out Goblins for Demons to start cozying up to people there in case I ever die.
>>46855550
Yeah, you're right about the doubts. I am somewhat prone to defeatism.
A player should always be considered above his minions, but perhaps nothing too overexaggerated. This CYOA does focus on the dungeon after all. A nice dwelling and comfy rooms.
>>46855753
Somewhat similar to the original, alright. And I intend to stat out certain aspects of a dungeon. A dungeon is comprised of 6 stats in total, and buying a certain construction, upgrades and additions can improve on these stats.
>>46855834
I intend to make it a only human CYOA. I have not yet made up my mind on outside influences.
I could make a certain threat stat to determine your power range. The more power you take, the more threat you become and will have to deal with.
I haven't focused yet on minions or the details of them. I only looked at a specialization or a power system thus far.
>>46855928
It's okay to force everyone into an evil role? I personally don't mind either moral side. They're both fine choices. Whatever floats your boat.
I have been thinking about certain forms you can adopt. The weaker you start the more bonuses you get. For instance you are trapped inside a crystal, only able to communicate with your minions. Or you're incorpereal, confined to your dungeon and cannot interact with your environment. These would require lengthy rituals of summoning, etc.
>If I had to choose one, make traps and environmental hazards the main focus.
I haven't given that much thought, as I wanted to generalize them only. I have been trying to think outside the spectrum of tradional however. Such as a realm existing in the cosmic, or rooms inside a mirror/painting, etc.
>>46855948
This again? That was a thing of the past. Anyway, it will be a CYOA and it is up to you to make it whatever you personally consider it to be. I haven't really given thoughts to any PvP options.
Cont.
>>46856160
Here you go
>>46855955
This was always my intention. Then I will just think of a balance system which is just a little less than the total amount of options I wish. This is the balance I always look for.
>>46856180
I have always considered it but any interest in it dies quickly and often falls back to my fantasy passion. I have about 2 WiP's I abandoned because of that.
>>46856235
>Somewhat similar to the original, alright.
>It's okay to force everyone into an evil role?
The latter would go against the former, since in the original you weren't forced into any morality, you were just there to provide the necessary challenge. Let people decide for themselves why they do what they do.
>>46856293
I'd suggest making a couple of sample builds based on archetypes you find interesting, and seeing where the sweet spot ends up being. Figure out where you're happy with what you've made and how it fits that archetype, but without feeling like you need to add things on just because you have spare points.
>>46856235
>forcing people into evil roles
Please, please, don't do this. There are few things worse than getting halfway through a great cyoa only to end up dropping it because "eating the souls of children", "torturing the weak" or "raping the lost and weary" are your options for sustenance/power source/whatever.
>>46855499
Seconding most of what >>46855834 said; give lots of lore, and let the players choose their own power level.
One more piece of advice: seed lore throughout. Make options have little blurbs referencing the world.
>>46856235
>It's okay to force everyone into an evil role?
Dungeon Keeper didn't really do that; it offered you a few options to stay under the radar and not be a dick - I remember noticing that growing valuable plants could make you self-sufficient.
>>46856408
Alright, gotcha.
>>46856412
Agreed. I think that method should always be used.
>>46856465
No, no, nothing like that. Evil backed by substance however is always interesting though. I tend to make evil more rewarding since good is often too easy to maintain.
>>46856621
I am somewhat limited in the length of descriptions.
>Make options have little blurbs referencing the world.
Good suggestion. However most of the options are internal mostly.
Sufficiency is one of the thematic stats of your dungeon. It obviously entails how well you're able to produce and supply your dungeon and synergizes well with crafting and animatrons.

After jokingly making this suggestion, I actually want to do this now.
So, I have roughly 13 images of sexy kaiju monstergirls so far. Mostly from Pacific Rim and Godzilla. I'll need the actual human forms later, but that'll be the easy part.
The hard part for me is deciding which country which is gonna be from. I'm obviously doing America, Canada, Japan, Australia, China, and Russia (And one from outer space). What other countries would you like to see? Norway? Italy? The UK? And one of the Monstergirls is actually a mech girl. Which country should she be from? My first thought was Japan, but I figured Japan would already be way down for Monstergirls.
Also, does anyone have a multi headed monstergirl anywhere? I was planning on one of the kaiju to actually be 3 girls combined into a monster that looks like King Ghidorah, but even looking up rule 63 of him found me nothing.

It's fine if they're more monstrous than this too, but the heads should be at least vaguely humanoid.
>>46857254
Couldn't find a Kaiju Ghidorah, but I did find something that could be her human form.
>>46857514
Except for the alien, I was actually planning on them actually being normal women when in human form, mostly to appease people who aren't into giantesses or monstergirls. And While that's good art, the multi headed one actually would split into multiple girls (twins/triplets or not, I don't care)
Thanks though.

Duwall, he's the fifth of the council of Nine, the outerman.

Honestly clones at this point are generally accepted in cyoag, as long as it's something you wrote and not a carbon copy word for word go for it. Hell most folks don't even mind if you take a completed work and just change a few things or add to it as long as you notate on it that it's a modified version.

I have next to no idea why, but this really reminds me of the Gregory Horror Show.

Blind picks:
>Siege
>Mystery Gift
>Telekinesis
Not bad really. I usually don't like the world gonna be fucked up choices, but i like Siege, i can just take over a big corporation, land on a good seat on the board and be rich. There is also an option to take over my country, make Russia great again. Telekenesis would allow me to win the most important battles for rebels and such which will mean less bloodshed overal, but the problem is i am sure as hell not competent to rule a country and i am not sure there would be any other competent people around to rule too, there is also many factions and countries that would want Russia to fall and civil war would be a great opportunity for that, so the result is unknown and that route is too dangerous.
The Rape Box is the hardest to properly use, i guess we are supposed to use it on ourselves and have public sex with girls which secretly wanted to have sex with us all along in most unconviniet times?

>new dungeon CYOA
>similar to Domain Master
Not interested. It's a pity really, i like your CYOA's and would wish it would be something cool like Kingdom Crusher(which is my favourite of yours). If the other one is more like KC and there is intrigue and stuff i am all for it.
Would you play a CYOA about being haunted by a ghost and needing to secure an ally to help banish or make peace with them?

Only if one of the allies is a cute swedish femboi diviner with a satchel of rune-inscribed condoms.

probably, depending on how it's handled. I wouldn't mind a ghost waifu.

This one is a classic.
No time to post a build though.

>Tertia
Hard choice, but Prophesy is insanely useful
>The Ring
Diplomacy and likability are so useful for just about everything
>Beastly
A good balance, and I like the look
>The Great Pyramid
This was a very difficult choice, but you'll see why I chose it in a bit
>Bloodfruit
>Bloodclouds
>Scenic
>Rich
Why I wanted the capital with Craftsmen boosts
>Werewolves
Fuck it, I like Werewolves. Might not be the BEST Neighbors, but they are cool.
>Hunters
Short-lived and have forgotten what it's like to live near us? They seem the MOST dangerous if they have time to prepare.
>Hell
Fun times, and all of those weapons, especially with the Ore we provide, will do wonders for the campaign against the Hunters.
