Week 1 Fan voted Rookie Game of the Week!
Do you feel that, there's a odd... edge to the air. That's right! It's time for tall, pale, agile newhalfs to dance around each other for 16 turns. Lets get started!
What starts with a C&C drive quickly devolves into a back and forth fight for control thanks to an underestimating of the severe bullshit that is vampires breaking cages. This goes on for several turns until Takara-tan of MMM makes her primary contribution to this match by falling down and having the apothecary look at her boo boo. This gave Kendrick Lahmiar of C&C a chance to break down the field. With that C&C finally secures the ball and chooses to delay near MMMs end zone. A usually effective tactic saw C&C over committing on Vampire Chiyo-Chan, giving Sora-Sama the chance she needed to recover that ball and move it 17 square, 7 by land and 10 on a long pass back comfortably into the elves half of the field. Despite having rushed several out of position players back to defense, C&C still had enough players close enough to cage their opponent ball carrier. I good attempt but futile against the vampire's superior strength, resulting in several marks a turn on Chiyo-Chan that failed to stop the turn 8 TD.
The second half started much the same, with C&C having not quite learned the lesson of vampire bullshit. When elves flood the back fiel,d a quick short pass to lightly mark Sora-sama sets off an inevitable second TD for the MMM. The dominating vampires then went on to demonstrate what their opponent had been doing wrong and allowed a quick pass and 2TTD from the C&C Blitzer Lahmiar. A quick back and forth for the last few turn had C&C gaining the upper hand without enough time to even up the score.
Lessons learned and blood spilled, a good day for Blood Bowl.

Our first game starts in a usual fashion. The slithers appear to have slimed up the ball making it hard for any team to pick it up. Slithers gain control and are just starting to push down the field when saurus Ruby runs headlong into elves Carols and Nevor with disastrous results.
Remember kids, if you're going to start a fight, bring a friend.
And immediately again when skink slag runs into elf Grin.

The Elves hold one to the ball for one turn long enough for the slithers to get in a skink blitz and gain possession of the ball.

Who then stood on the sidelines.
With incredibly predictable results.
Down 0-1 the lizard attempt to pick up the ball with skink "slippery hands" dust, several times leaving it in their own end zone for the elves to pick up for a quick 0-2. Ol "slippery hands" dust almost proves his worth by actually picking up the ball on the next drive and sprinting down field in an attempt to get it as far away from their own end zone as possible. A futile gesture because elves. One tripped skink, and one long bomb later, the elves are up 3-0 at the half.
The second half begins with a Perfect Defense almost punishing the elves but instead allowing them to get easy hits on poorly positioned skinks, which sent "slippery hands" dust off the field to the chagrin of the fans. The elves were finally punished by a failed dodge resulting in the slithers, having learned much in the ways of elf, rushing the elves back field and taking possession of the ball and, I assume, scoring. The rest of the game was marked by a quick back and forth of mass skink swarming and elves doing elf things ending in another TD for the elves. The overall lack of blood, poor luck and odd decisions have left me morose. I'm going to go drink heavily now.

Monkey Business Inc vs Lizards Gone Bad(2-0)
I honestly don't have much to say about this game. At best it is a fairly effective, if boring, example of the worth of the great strength of the Saurii and the weakness of their lack of notable skill. It's also a fun game to watch if you want to watch lizards picking up the ball better than monkeys, I don't think that's suppose happen.
Also if you are into snuff, starting turn 6 with the loss of Big Bad Lizard Brown to Gorrilaissez-faire. The Lizards took revenge by thinning out the bonobo population, killing two of the little guys. Are they on the endangered species list? They probably should be.
Turn it next week as one of the lizard teams wins, because they had to play each other.

After yesterday's barrage of matches and the completion of the Veteran's Round 2, this day presents us with a fight for the top! Everybody's (least)favorite runner up, Crab's 'Animeted Clothing' are meeting Werter's 'Za UnderWarudo'.
Crab's Chorfs have been proven to be a tough nut to crack, serving 15 of Crab's 22 total wins on Fumbbl, while only taking three losses so far. They've put him into the semi-finals of Season I and into the finals of Season II, and Crab vowed not to stop until AC is crowned champion. And their track record unmistakenly shows that they mean business!
On the other side, Werter's rag-tag group of goblins, furry ratmen and a warpstone troll with 014IQ, had more of a bumpy ride so far. Currently sitting at 4/1/3, Werter has had his hands full steering his band through the wreckage that was the previous season. ZeUnderWarudo are not to be underestimated though! Werter has only reaped clean 2-0 victories in Season III so far, and it remains to be seen if this crab will be able to stop the tide of vermin.
