When rolling up a char, what system do you prefer? 3d6, 4d6 drop lowest, 2d6+6, 5d6 drop 2 lowest or 1d6+12?

3d6 straight down the line, but then I'm not a baby who needs my hand held while the DM describes how awesome my character is.
Everyone gets 10 in their stats. Nobody is weaker or stronger than one another, the only bonuses come from class and race choice, magic items, and armor.

Adding: Any six gets rerolled once to confirm it. Use the reroll result in its place. Rolling is done after choosing race and class.
2d6 & 1d12, drop the lowest.
