Jacob was your typical computer nerd before being brought into the Travelers, but when he was, he decided to learn as much as he could, as fast as he could. After a year and a half, he slowed down some, but he still brought himself from High to Advanced tech and developed an aptitude for several areas of Traveler tech during that time. He's particularly good with robots of all sorts, and works almost as much with Technical as he does with Mechanical.

He was brought in by Anon as a favor to a friend, and so Anon got saddled with the task of taking care of him until he hits 18. This has mostly manifested in occasional training exercises (Anon was the one who got him his AD-83), and very little else. Jacob has done well for himself under the limited supervision, making several “secretary bots” to handle basic chores, though Administration still pokes Anon to check up on him now and again when they suspect he's building something dangerous.
He lost his left arm on his first excursion to another universe; Anon had to shut down a group in his home timeline, and Jacob insisted on coming along. The mission went well, but a grenade tore up Jacob's arm and it had to be amputated before he made it back to Ae. Upon being told Bio could grow him a new one, he just smiled and responded “Nah man, Imma build me a new arm. No wait, TWO new arms!”. He didn't replace his right arm, but added a third arm below the left arm which can fold into a compartment in his torso for discretion. Since then, he's upgraded his legs for better parkour, replaced his lungs and heart with one massive “cardio machine”, installed wifi in his brain, got cyber-eyes, installed an internal sustenance module, and replaced his tongue with what amounts to a atmospheric and materials sensor, that can extend to half a foot long.

He replaced his tongue due to a botched experiment with VR tech, where he overloaded his tastebuds (he had the sense to test it with taste, and not sight or sound). He fried his whole sense of taste, but even with the option of a prosthetic tongue, he has no further interest in eating, saying that “there's no point to it anymore”.
Jacob came from an earth with several pieces of entertainment mimicking other universes, so when he saw the shops of Ae, he jumped at the idea of getting memorabilia from his favorite “media”. In the end, he didn't have enough credits for too much, but he insisted on getting a lightsaber “for cutting and welding” and a servo-skull. He has since named the servo-skull “Mittens” for reasons only he knows, and treats it like an adorable pet. This creeps some people out, although most in the Travelers have seen far too much to be disturbed by it. Still, he doesn't seem to understand what could be considered weird about having a floating skull for a pet.

Jack grew up in a world where surviving meant killing before you're killed, and took that to heart. He became a mercenary, killing for pay and doing any job coming his way, until he was betrayed by a megacorp who thought (correctly) that they could just kill him and keep his pay. Without the intervention of Knight-Paladin Marath, he would have died an ignoble death there When he was inducted into the Travelers, he became enamored with the tech available to him and grabbed Tartaros armor and an Iron Halo to turn himself into a massive walking tank. He then got Mechanical to install four extra arms on his frame, so he can hold more weapons. So loaded, he traveled back to his home timeline and murdered the entire board of the megacorp that betrayed him, and fucked that timeline up. With further Traveler intervention, the issues were smoothed over, but Jack was detained on Ae for some time.

Upon release, Knight-Paladin Marath was charged with rehabilitating him, since she had recruited him, so she brought him to her home timeline. She showed him the destruction her world has gone through, and that life was still hanging on despite the death. They toured that world for a year, helping the burgeoning communities there, and then started touring more of the multiverse. She showed him beautiful landscapes untouched by man, and worlds where the government genuinely cared about the people. She showed him the worst of sentient life, and the best. And though Jack claimed not to care, the breadth of experiences slowly broadened his worldview. And then she took him back to his own timeline, and showed him the families of the people he killed. Looking on a small girl whose father had been ripped to shreds in the boardroom of that megacorp, Jack finally accepted that his actions had consequences, and he finally started to care. At that point, Maranth took him back to Ae.
Even so, Jack still had no real skills other than killing, and had developed a phobia of leaving his suit due to the things he had seen in the multiverse. He wandered Ae for a year, doing little of anything, until he came across a temple of The Church of our Lady, Destroyer of Despair. Entering the small building, he met the priest, and they talked for hours, about the heroine that inspired the church. About her bravery, and her kindness. Jack realized that he could do good too, even with his skill set. He knelt down at the alter, and pledged himself to protecting the weak and helping the helpless.
No one knows why, but after his tours with Marath, he started looking at others... differently. He seems to now be drawn to people who later do something very important, saying that he'd like to be part of their story. Eventually, he says that their story has ended and leaves. Some suspect he developed an eye for destiny, but he refuses to elaborate.

The CYOA isn't very clear if the Reality Warping power is limited based on real time or subjective time. The supposed clarification only makes things more ambiguous.
Shapeshifting is enough to provide biological immortality. After all, a "healthy little girl" is biologically possible at any point. I'm only using that by way of example of course.
The real meat of this though is visiting "any realm or dimension of my choosing". I should probably stick to using this while reality warping is active, as that power more or less provides an absolute defense against "somewhere not nice".

As usual, the super powers have to be immortality and/or shapeshifting related, because those are the top two things I go for in any CYOA. Not even going to bother with figuring out the details of how to make them "contrasting". We can mimic each other anyway.
I was somewhat disappointed that this CYOA fails to really play up the "Identical" part of "identical twin". I think it should be rewritten as just "twin", with the "identical" being an extra. Identical REQUIRES that they look like you, and very very strongly implies that they behave in a very similar way (nature vs nurture, nature wins out in most studies even when identical twins are separated at birth) Anyway I did my best to build with the "identical" part in mind.

Harem Creator here, ready to address some of the more commonly brought up issues from the last threads. I must say that I am, indeed, happy with the overall result of the secrets reveal, which seems to have stimulated a fair bit of fruitful discussion and didn't cause anywhere near as much anger as I'd feared it might (I'm also happy with my decision to make some last minute changes before leaving for work two days ago, which I think have significantly improved some of the more popular characters). I see many people felt sympathy for Cheryl rather than simply dismissing her as a "bad option", which is precisely what I've been aiming for, and of the 7 methods of mitigating rage I've attempted 4 were largely successful.
I may, when I find the time, make a revised version of this to go over some fixes, mainly in the area of wording, which seems to have been one of the greatest issues here. I will probably not make any overwhelming changes like switching out characters' secrets, since these are the ones they were written to have and it'd be unfair to pair with their hints. I might drop, add or change some of the hints, though. Meshara, in particular, confused a lot more people than I'd assumed she would. My mistake, again, for perhaps using the word "obvious" too lightly, but I'd thought a Red Herring like that would stand out like a bonefire and make abundantly clear she cannot possibly be the futanari. Immortals are problematic to hide - there are too many popular stories about them and a canon for traditional hints for immortality has already formed. I thought the name alone might do the trick - at the very least, it make clear that she's using a fake name and doesn't have a very good idea of what Americans (or, possibly, anyone currently alive) should be named since her surname's Anglo-Saxon and her first name's Sumerian. Samantha will never become "unnaturally" disgusting. She's not literally transforming into garbage, she just takes a couple weeks of carelessness to reach a state normal people would after years of slobbing it up. Someone correctly pointed out that her behavior isn't entirely rational - her fear of becoming disgusting has actually caused her to blow her own problem out of proportion. Nothing catastrophic would happen if she were to leave home every once in a while, especially if she took some deodorant and sanitary wipes with her.
Tabitha's condition is genetic. Any children she'd have would also probably have kaijuu transformations, though presumebly each generation less so than the last until they'd eventually be weeded out. I've noticed quite a few people expressing disappointment with her being vegan... you are aware that her other quirk aside from not eating dairy is occasionally turning into a building sized monster, yes? Nevertheless, it's hardly central to her character so I guess it's one of the things I'd remove if and when I make a new version.
Heather would have to continue taking Dr. Kisling hormone therapy her whole life to keep from aging too fast. She's a high investment, high reward option. Patiently wait for 12 years while resisting the urge to diddle a sexy cowgirl and put a great deal of money into it, get a loving milky waifu. She is (technically) biologically human and can reproduce with a baseline man, although her children would all be female cowgirls with everything this entails (including super fast growth) unless Dr. Kisling takes care of that.

I highly doubt it. For once (and again, this is just my personal canon), the symbiotes' original hosts being octopedal isn't the same as saying they look like octopi. Second, remember that Dae Eun-Yeong's recollection of the future is spotty. An alien invasion may not even be involved at all. Thirdly, and most important, it seems completely out of character for them. If Raphael is any indication, the symbiotes are either so naturally mellow or value compassion so highly a 20 years old girl can walk all over one just by saying that she *really* wants to do drugs right now. If anything, first contact with them and humanity at large would go terribly because they'll be nuked as soon as somebody finds out about them being "alien brain slugs". In which case, it feels more likely they'll just fly back and avoid Earth in the future, rather than start hurling asteroids at it (unless, of course, they deem humanity to be such a threat to galactic peace that they'd be morally obliged to - just kidding. Time for exploration. Pick up powers and gadgets from other universes - pretty easy if you know the time and place.
If powers and gadgets only work in the home universe, that makes the choice a lot tougher. On one hand I could just travel to a fictional paradise and live forever in bliss, never having to leave. On the other hand, where's the fun in that?

Some science bros and I can travel through the galaxy, taking observations. If we find a habitable planet we can even bring humans to settle there.

I'm working on a Tank CYOA, set in the 1914-1945 period. At the moment, all I've got are pages of text as I try to iron out all the details. I could use some advice/criticism to let me know if I'm going in the right direction.
At the top end organization of things, I've got things like this:
The main components of the Tank are:

Can become the worlds most attractive man (or woman, for that matter) and practically own any woman via looks/sex. Shapeshift into a fly for stealth, a dense chitin/bone-covered behemoth for defense, fly anywhere (and shapeshift into a fly if caught via radar or something, or just shapeshift into a natural stealth bomber before flying, become a dolphin if caught while flying over water).
I actually like eating and sleeping, and immortality would get boring/depressing without brain-chemical control; one human life with superpowers would be enough, frankly. Shapeshifting+flight means never getting in trouble as long as you're halfway careful/smart and not insanely unlucky. You could easily rob banks or whatever for wealth. Impersonate powerful people if you have some goal that requires it. Take your pick for any mates. Flying at will would be hella fun; I'd actually get to see the entire world. Could go practically anywhere I want, whenever I want. Sounds perfect to me.
