This. Milling for 22ish T5 with Forgotten Creation + Sphinx's Tutelage and then casting Startled Awake means the enemy is gonna be down around 41-27 cards. That's half a deck or more.
And by that turn the opponent has drawed 12 cards, so he should have around 10-ish cards left in his library, so even the slightest mill would kill.
Maybe Mesmeric Orb would be enough to do the job.

Currently not running any bridges, cause I like my counter spells and it doesn't work with Thirst for knowledge. I will be trying another variant with Liliana, discard, and bridges, and I'll see how that goes. For the momebt, the 3 main deck skites, 4 chalices and counters have been buying me plenty of time against infect, burn and zoo, the deck is really sweet, and if you just have the 2 combo pieces and you're on the play you can just gain life like a mad man. Also Chalice and the counters make it pretty dang solid against combo. Tolaria West it great also.

Ancestral Vision helps fairies a lot, but I don't think the deck has room for Thopter/Sword combo.
Also, Faeries will never be a good control deck. It's creatures are too fragile and aggressive. It's more like a big tempo deck. Midrange-ish, but trading grind power for more disruption and flexibility.
Memedern is a format based purely on what 8 decks a dozen guys play at a pro tour, if you are not using the cards those particular guys are using you are doing modern wrong

Was playing Eldrazi before the ban, and I don't mind the Eye ban, will just replace the Mimic by other creatures, same for Eye, will be replaced by some other utility land.
Eye into lots of Mimis was rare. What was not rare was playing turn 2 TKS into T3 Reality Smasher and that what was busted, on the play, you just took 9 damages and it's your turn 3. I threaten lethal with another Reality smasher on turn 4.
Without temple the deck cannot do that, sure i can shit 4 mimics on turn one, but without temple, I don't have any follow up and can just concede to pyroclasm.
So yeah in my opinion, and having played the deck for the last 4 months, temple was busted.

The Eldrazi of BFZ/OGW are only powerful because of lands that were released 4+ years ago. If there was no Temple or Eye, it's quite likely that nobody would play Eldrazi.
If Eldrazi would still be playable without Temple or Eye, neither would've been banned. The fact that they only banned Eye shows that the deck wouldn't have a leg to stand on without a Sol Land to accelerate its creatures.
Now to saw that BFZ/OGW as a whole haven't impacted Modern, that's false, but the Eldrazi in particular were powerful in spite of their design, not because of it.
