You know, if Eldar could pull their heads out of their asses for half a second and the Imperium could stop hatefucking every planet and species that isn't completely human, their union would be the single most unstoppable force in the galaxy. Yeah, a few things wrong with this mate. First off, it's not just the Eldar with their heads in their asses. The Imperium isn't known for it's friendly and compromising nature either. Second, the eldar vary wildly in appearance from artwork to artwork. Fans may like drawing them all as busty battle maidens, but do you remember some of the pre 5th edition art for the eldar? They all looked like tall pale lanky weirdos who are far too thin to be mistaken for human. Third, Baneblades and bolters would be wasted on the Eldar, as a Baneblade is loud, slow, and insanely inefficient compared to the vehicles they already have, and bolters would fuck up any eldar that tried to use them. Keep in mind that while they're fast and coordinated, Eldar are on average weaker than humans, and even most humans can't safely shoot a bolter. Only the very strongest humans can shoot a bolter without power armor or some kind of augmentation.

If we're going by old versions, then Space Marine Speederbikes, Carnifexes with downs and Squats are still a thing. Eldar are literally just space elves now. I wasn't saying they'd get MISTAKEN for humans, I was saying they're not as alien looking as, say, Tau or Orks. They look like tall, thin, pale humans with pointy ears.
Baneblades don't need to be quiet or fast when they can take that much punishment and deal out that much damage. Maybe the Eldar could make one out of Wraithbone, it was just an example. As for bolters, you do realize they can be mounted. Not to mention you could slap one on Wraithlords, Aspect warriors or tanks. Or give Eldar power armor, fuck it, why not? It could be a lighter version of the Space Marine version, but still give a boost to strength etc.
Nids' main problem is their numbers more than anything else. There's so many of them that the Imperium can rarely get to planets they attack fast enough to save them, or at least evacuate them. Webway gates would fix that problem right up. It wouldn't be perfect, but it would help a hell of a lot.
Ultramarines aren't real and just a story mothers tell their kids at bedtime to get them to go to sleep and eat their Munitorum-sanctioned rations like good little servants of the Emperor.

While I actually agree with you there, at least in part, but you also have to keep in mind that the Imperium draws little to no distinction between Dark Eldar and the rest of the Eldar, so assuming they're fickle and violent isn't really unfair. There's also the fact that the Eldar really are seemingly fickle as all hell. There are plenty of examples in canon of Eldar proposing temporary alliances that they then betray. Yes, this only represents the actions of specific groups of eldar, but if you grew up in a unified imperium* wouldn't you be more inclined to see the actions of an individual as being the actions of the group they belong to?
*Note that while they imperium is very divided and secular, Space Marines, Imperial Navy officers, and Imperial Guard officers all tend to come from unified cultures (their homeworld and the Schola Progenium(sp?) respectively).
