We have a few Avenger/Marvel versions of jumps. But we lack the best one.

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

It had great animation and fresh amazing design for Wasp's costume. Thinking of doing it
>>
So, we also lack one jump that I find would be interesting and only older people will remember it.

B.A.D jump.

To many, it's modern day folklore, to others it is simply tabloid headlines but to a select few it is the ultimate reality. Intergalactic aliens have arrived on Earth, now they move among us. Only one top secret elite group of trained professionals has the ability to detect these extraterrestrial beings. B.A.D.: The Bureau of Alien Detectors. Led by Squadron Leader Sergeant Ben Packer, military war hero. Special Agent Shane Sanderson, life science expert. Moose Trengganu, alien encounter survivor. Colin Marcus, computer specialist, and Casey Taylor, psychic communicator. Together, they have only one mission: To confront, control, and contain all alien encounters. Together they are B.A.D.: The Bureau of Alien Detectors
>>
>>44314787
If you're goign to go that route, I'd suggest widening the scope to make it a Marvel Animated Universe jump.

Kind of hope you're doing less actually, since that'd mean you focus more on what you have and they'd be higher quality and come out faster.

>>44314983
You're better of not saying you're doing them and then working on them in secret until then then. Otherwise it's just going to cause arguments because other's claim people are poaching from you. Yes, even if you say now that you give permission.

>>
>>44313651
My personal take is that being a Master is better. You get a powerful Servant/Companion for the duration of the jump/chain and you don't risk unwilling suicide via Command Seal (which the jump notes _overrides_ all perks that would normally prevent Seal control) nor having to put points into IA to avoid being sent home if someone gibs your Master (who may be _much_ squishier than you depending on how many jumps you've already been through).

Of course other Jumpers will have their own personal take, so YMMV.

How do I deal with Fate/Stay levels of magical bullshit when I want to kill something dead? Like dead apostles and servants that some fluff I've read states 'can't die, ever, because.'

Does conventional magic reach a point to deal with this sort of thing? Or is there some perk or jump that will let me manipulate things at the conceptual level to make sure that something can die because I say it can die?

>>

SMITE has the perk Anathema. 80s Action Movies has the perk If It Bleeds. Banner Saga has the perk Blessing Of Stravhs. Horror Movie has Sometimes Dead Is Better. There are some others too.
>>
>>44315642
If you have to hide it behind the bacon, that doesn't make it better. It just means bacon tastes good and has a strong flavor.
>>
>>44315762
Yes but the spinach makes sure that the bacon actually has some nutritional value. Or at the very least it makes the bacon less unhealthy.

What's not to love about that?
>>
>>44315536
Killing Servants is difficult, but not impossible. Biggest problem is how superior to ordinary humans they are and how bullshit Noble Phantasms are, but you're a jumper. You'll get to the point where you can crush their puny heads and figure out and counter their super special snowflake trick before they can use it eventually.

Now, killing Heroic Spirits is, far as most people are concerned, impossible. You'd need to reach a super special locked away afterlife called The Throne of Heroes. Doing so is almost guaranteed to get the planet and the collective will of humanity to try and murder you because of the type of bullshit you'd need to sling around in order to do that.

Then, you need to deal with every single possible Servant at their absolute best trying to kill you because of what you just did. And it's not just proper heroes. You'll probably have the anti-heroes and good ol' monsters that are kept there just in case joining the fray. That's already effectively impossible for most people. If any Counter-Guardian is at any point involved, you're back to the first issue with the planet and whole of humanity wanting you dead, if you somehow evaded their notice.

Dead Apostles are, on the whole, way easier to put down. Most are "ordinary" wizard vampires. Gonna need to get a bit more specific to figure out what you're worried about.

Mind if I bother you with a question about Macross?

What do I have to buy to import a mech and combine it with a VF-27 Lucifer?

Is "Power of Culture" enough? Or, do I need to buy "Bring Your Own Mech" + "By Fire, Be Cleansed" + "Power of Culture"?

Also, if I combine a mech with the VF-27 do I get it's signature beam cannon too?
>>
>>44315735
Fists of Judgment from Fallen London beats all of 'em out, since most supernaturals in Type-Moon are by definition things outside the normal order of reality.

The exceptions being Arcuied, maybe the Divine Spirits and the TYPEs, and you really shouldn'y try to pick a fistfight with those anyway.

>>44315536

Well, right now I'm going through a wiki describing the twenty-seven dead apostle ancestors, and things like 'conceptual weapons' which override natural laws.

I'm trying to figure out if things like the vampires and true ancestors here are just really powerful and can be brought down by a jumper through conventional means, or if I need some kind of reality-rewriting post-spark super-magic to overcome plot armor.
>>
>>44315880
You need to do "Bring Your Own Mech" + "By Fire, Be Cleansed" + "Power of Culture", sadly. But there are arguably benefits from it, like getting its Fold Quartz Generator and the tech inside of it, like its signature beam cannon as well. Along with whatever else your mech is buffing it with.

You're paying a lot for the bells and whistles, but as a result you're arguably getting a rather high boost as a result. I daresay you could do some SERIOUS damage with it.
>>
>>44316025
Dead Apostle Ancestors are a bit different. Some of them aren't even Dead Apostles, one is Arcuid's half True Ancestor sister, and the rest are just Dead Apostles, but they've done magic bullshit to boost themselves to ridiculous heights. They're more advanced than your run of the mill Dead Apostle.
>>

As a jumper you are an out-of-context problem, which gives you access to a whole host of options.

There are plenty of anti-magic stuff available, and something like D&D antimagic fields can definitley mess up a Nasuverse Mage's day. Hell, anti-summoning stuff might work really well too, as that's exactly what Servants are.

Try coming at the problem from an oblique angle, because fighting a Nasuverse dude with Nasuverse stuff won't end well if you're going up against Gilgamesh or other OP people.

Don't fight them like they want you to.

Oh! Forced teleportation and high energy weapons would serve you well too.
>>
>>44316045
So what's the cost of that?
>>
>>44316025
When it comes to Dead Apostles for the most part it's you picking a fight rather than them hunting you down. It's like people who just decide one day out of the blue that they need to go to Africa and shoot a lion for their new handbag.
>>

>>
>>44316025
The 27 Dead Apostle Ancestors are this league of big bads. You're better off not even acknowledging most of them, 'cause they ain't gonna do shit to you as long as you don't forcefully insert yourself into the plot of Tsukihime. Most regular Dead Apostles are just a swing of a holy artifact and bam, dead for real.

Just dropping this here for reference.
This is the Terminus Est.
(Bring Flamers)

How did you deal with the super chaos ship from LOT jumpers?
(Not including the Phase Iron/Tzeentch Ship trick.)
>>
>>44316121
What if you are a Dead Apostle though? These guys might become more of your problem.
>>
>>44316083
350CP overall. Which more less grabs you well over double that in VP (Fold Quartz Unit, Cybernetic Uplink, Improved Generator, minor things), it's just that as a result you're detracting from what you COULD buy in the main section.

So the question is, is that worth the trade-off?
>>
>>44316129
Terminus Est was actually the thing I fought. As for how I dealt with it? I moved a lot faster, hit it with a lot of plasma lances on strafing runs, and then Elsewhere Coil'd out of the way of the last attack it got off before the Nova Cannon hit.

They seemed to like the Warp a lot, so I sent them /back/ there.
>>
>>44316136
Most Dead Apostles are not in the business of hunting other Dead Apostles.
>>
>>44316177
Not so much hunting as "having to be involved with"
>>
>>44316129
Well, ignoring the trick you just stated
I took the Tzneech ship.

Lances, lots of lances, guided torpedoes, more lances, carrier capablilities, HUGE lances, and the ability to dart like a butterfly thanks to beefed up engines. Engaged in a deadly void dance, eventually managing to tear them apart with high-energy beams (a LOT of them), and constant bomber harassment
>>
>>44316129
I took the idiot Khorne one. And I beat it by being faster and smarter. All that shit that Khorne hates.
>>
>>44316136
If your a dead apostle then you would have more trouble with the church than the 27 Dead Apostle Ancestors.
>>
>>44316190
Even then, a large majority of the Dead Apostles don't interact with one another when they don't have to. You get one or two problem cases that are bit too human, one or two that keep up the masquerade, and that's pretty much it.

Heck no one wants to bother with ORT or Primate Murder.

The Tyranids don't really have anything special honestly. They're not magic. They're not warp monsters. Their individual cells don't eat back. As far as super adaptive hive races go, they're actually fairly benign meals.
>>
>>44316006
Well, uh, there's some stuff I wouldn't fill out just because I have no use for those roles, but otherwise most of it.
>>
>>44316345
It's weird how with two jumps you can theoretically beat the nids at their own game
>>
>>44316486
Meh, not too surprising. Tyranids have never been the only eat 'em race in fiction, and other ones are bound to be better at it in some aspect.

I'd think so, the cost comes from a pool of points that we're forced to ration like a starving castaway because of all the options we have.

There is just so much to buy before even getting to the plane customization table that we have to be really choosy about what we buy.

I fought the Iron Blood, and I went with Necrons as my faction. Have a writeup.

The Iron Blood was truely a sight to behold, and the Light of Terra charged up to meet it. The Chaos vessel turned, it's great prow
pointing dead on at the Light. Still, the Light of Terra did not falter, and soon the two titans were closing fast. As they neared
each other, the Iron Blood's engines spat torrents of fire as they ignited in full. A spread of torpedoes was launched as an
afterthought, as the mighty bulk of the warp-touched ship bore down upon the Light. The might spear of the Iron Blood, tempered in
the blood of countless vessels and ever thirsting for more hit nothing as the Light flickered out of step with reality, before the
first torpedo could land. The Iron Blood's reckless charge carried it through and past the Light; too late it realized it's mistake.
It had armor tens of meters thick, empowered by the boundless bloodthirst of Khrone, but then it met a caged star. Vulnerable
engines met face first with a colum of starfire, and the vessel of blood and hate screamed. It shuddered as nuclear fire gutted it's
propulsion; it's only means of traveling the void slagged beyond repair.
>>
>>44316699
Then stick to bog standard animals and not super monsters and sapients. It's unethical.

I dimly recall something about the Zerg being basically shoddy knockoffs of the 'nids, and I'm pretty sure the 'nids' whole mutation gimmick would include powerful immune systems given how thorough their infestations are.

Part 2

The Inertialess Drive kicked in, and coupled with it's
overcharged Sulik Engines, the vast bulk of the Light of Terra swung round' gracefully. 18 Macrocannon batteries roared their fury,
and with a swift turn, their siblings spoke as well. The hellish torpedoes finally came back around and were reinforced by a freshly
launched wave of the same. Hellfire Missiles launched to meet them, their aims honed to a miraculous degree. Guided by the duet of
Logis Targeter and Gitfinda, each fell torpedo was intercepted with pinpoint accuracy. The Light answered the Iron Blood's spread in
kind, and torpedoes, Lascannons, Missiles, and one massive cannon unleashed their firepower at once. Under the barrage, layer upon
layer of armor and superstructure was peeled away, until the burning brass heart of the mighty vessel was exposed. With a feather
touch at the helm, the Light drifted back, and the Nova Cannon rose. The deck trembled underfoot as a shell the size of a small
house accelerated to blinding speed, and the heart of the Iron Blood howled in rage. With a flash of un-light the shell struck home,
and as the Iron Blood became violently undone, the echoing peals of rage cut off.
>>
>>44316745
Starcraft was originally supposed to be a 40k RTS, so yes, the Zerg are basically 'nids.

Protoss are basically Eldar.

and Terrans... that should be easy.
>>
>>44316745
Tyranids don't actively mutate as individuals. They have to have a Norn Queen pick up the DNA, decide she wants to use it, design new Tyranid designs using it, and them give birth to them. They're very conservative about doing it too. It's a much slower process than with Zerg.

Possibly Prototype and Worm (Queen Administrator).

Or Worm (Thanatos), assuming you get QA and Panacea's abilities and not variants.

Or Generic Virtual World (or other power-theft provider) and then harvest them. Panacea can create synapse creatures.

Perhaps Asura's Wrath and Panacea. Make them a race capable of generating Mantra, using mostly-biological equivalents to Mantra cybernetics and transmitters. It'd arouse the Gohma something fierce, but all you need a planet for is biomass, so fuck 'em.

With my various metal gear tech, a couple stolen weapons, and the manufacturing facilities of the FOB offshore, I quickly outfit the basic thugs with laser weaponry from SR, which allows them to pretty much run roughshod over the competition. Just, uh... just lettin' ya know... Extra power is 'pick a power one of the other conduit types can do, such as Concrete Wall, you can now do that with your power. You don't get a second conduit type.

I'm responding to someone who's pointing out Zerg route exists, who pointed it out to someone who said good luck to Zerg and Protoss routes. I'm saying the first person was probably assuming it'd get an update and probably didn't need to be told that Zerg route exists by the second person.

>>44317131
Huh. Did not know that. Wonder if the two existing routes will be updated to take into account anything relevant from Legacy of the Void.

The page you pick your conduit 'element' is labled Conduit Type. This is where you decide you're a video conduit or a concrete conduit. The descriptions have a list of powers - the feats that conduit type can do.

The wording of Extra Power actually references that.

You can take one power from a different Conduit type. Draws from same energy pool.

So using my own example by picking Concrete's wall power you could make walls with neon or smoke, but you don't get to use Concrete in addition to your Neon, or Smoke powers.

The Iron Blood.

Quite honestly, we outmaneuvered them and kept hitting them from longer range with our biggest guns. Rather significant sensor upgrades permitted targeting their weapons and engines. We took damage, oh yes did we take damage, but in the end we neutered that ship and it was left immobile in space.

Once it could not attack any longer, we targeted the engines and began concentrated bombardment with pyroil-augmented macrocannon batteries. Once we were satisfied we'd burned out the interior of the ship, we spent a day or two putting all the lance cannons through their paces, making sure they were in proper order and calibration, and conveniently melting the hollow armor to little more than slag.

There is always someone stronger, but sadly, they forgot this truth.
>>
>>44317262
Hm, but, those aren't powers are they, they're attacks that people do with those powers. Also, I'm pretty sure that just means it draws from the same source of power.
>>
>>44317328
Sorry, but that's what it is. The use of the word 'power' to describe the capabilities of the Conduit Types is misleading, true, but it's just a bit of unfortunate word choice. I was disappointed too when I learned of it back when I first made a build for inFAMOUS.

Drawing from the same source is further proof of it. You use Neon or Smoke to make the wall, not Concrete.
>>
>>44317328
No, it's the individual abilities. This has come up plenty of times before, and when Quicksilver was still here he made a clarification on it (I'm not pulling him into the conversation needlessly, before anyone says it, he's the one who made the damn jump). It's a relic of inFamous being only the second jump ever made, and no one really knowing how to balance things at that point.
>>
>>44317328
Are you really going to do this after the last time?
>>
>>44317328

My goal? Simply survive by being the best Commander aboard my ship I can be. When situation calls for I won't hesitate to step in the V-tech. I don't think I'd do it often, not that well trained in piloting but I can do a neat laser show. Which should give me range, and accuracy over my opponents. As lasers are faster and longer ranged, presumably. Overall I was happy not having to murder people up close for awhile. There's only so many ways you can kill a person with a lightsaber.
>>
>>44317410
The DUP probably have at least one, given that the power transfer device used to give Cole the extra powers was the same as the one used to infuse the Vermaak 88. So the tech they used to infuse Augustine's powers into the DUP soldiers is probably descended from that. It might take some modifications if they've made their version more specialized, but it shouldn't be anything outside the reach of any decently tech savvy jumper.
>>
>>44317427

Any idea what Conduit powers evolve into?

We know that Cole's elec powers could eventually time travel but I guess thats off the table for us.
>>

>considering it's Conduit is dead.
Necromancy is a hell of a thing.
>>
So my nasuverse origin I rolled random and got spoon what do I with this ?
>>
>>44317533
We have no idea how Cole got that strong and it certainly wasn't naturally, since even by Infamous 2 he was needing to eat those power cores to grow, and he was far from using time travel. For all we know it's some entirely unrelated piece of tech that allowed time travel.
>>
>>44317477
Exactly. Also, letting people know it might be a bad idea to just use the one the DUP used as is, pretty sure it's mentioned somewhere that they're not afraid of the 'new' concrete conduits running amok because they can't charge themselves up, or have to keep getting the concrete power refreshed in some way. Just a warning, might not be accurate but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Use it as a base to develop your own, sure but unless you're taking Augustine with you (which I don't know if you can, does the jump mention if it's after the good or bad ending for Second Son?) you probably don't want to take the risk.

>>44317529
Well, there are a lot more conduits showing up in the time Second Son is set and the effects of Cole using the bomb thingy I forget the name of is wearing off. Also, a bunch of Conduits just got let out of Curdon Cay, you might find one there if Augustine is dead, which is only in the bad karma ending. Otherwise just break into wherever she's imprisoned.

>>
>>44317587
I know I really do but if anyone can make a weapon out of being a "spoon" I thought hey why not try /tg/
>>
>>44317533
I think the official ruling is that they can grow in power, but not really in scope. That's because the link between electricity and time travel is so tenuous as to be conceptual, and leaves it far too open to abuse. We don't really know how Kessler got that strong - maybe multiple ray sphere exposures, maybe the Beast blasted him with something that should have killed him but gave him time travel instead.

Basically, think more along the lines of what Kessler could do in the boss fight rather than the sort of power growth/evolution that leads to time travel.

Swapped Extra Power for Focus.

I was on the East Coast, buying a certain device, when i heard news that Delsin had fucked up my operations in Portland, (Seriously, why would he bother going to Portland? I was only smuggling in parts for a project.)

I immediately left for Seattle, which I had turned into a veritable fortress, and which had propered under my rule. Predictably, Mr. Rowe soon turned up with friends.

Unfortunately for him, I had friends of my own. It seemed he and his compatriots were mainly trashing my small time operations, so I tasked The Boss (SR) with handling it while I left.

I soon arrived at my destination: Curdun Cay. The population had fallen a great amount since the D.U.P.'s days, but it sill housed a great many prisoners, including one Augustine Brooke.

Well, that really depends on how many fears, secrets and repressed desires you have doesn't it? And just what, exactly, is the very incarnation of everything you hate about yourself?

There are certainly jumps with perks that help alleviate some of the symptoms. Evangelion. Soul Eater. Persona. Ar Tonelico. Winnie the Pooh and Sugar Bowl and Inside Out.

But if you truly hate yourself?

If you've truly done things the person you used to be could never ever forgive you for?

If you're utterly alone and nobody could possibly understand the scope of the choices you've had to make and the magnitude of what you've sacrificed?

If you've let down the people who stood at your side as friends and lovers and comrades to sink into depths unplummable by any line?

Sometimes you just have to accept that actions have consequences. That you've made mistakes that can't be undone. And all the willpower perks in the chain will only open the door to recovery; you're the one who has to choose to make amends.

But fuck that noise. Maybe you've seen atoms dance on the head of a pin and angels brought low by your word and will and demons split apart in the name of science-and you can just SNEER at the absurdity of it all because who are they to judge you?! They're nothing! Even your doppleganger's ultimately nothing but a single-universe caricature of your failings like all the other puppets you've broken and bowed to your whims or escaped from, it's all just meaningless babble when you know the secret names of gods and what purple sounds like, because in the end there is no consistency, no center to ground the widening gyre! The only constants are the entertainment of your Benefactress and your own choice! And you do what you can, because you must, because when everything changes-nothing does!

For those of you that went to Nanoha, what kind of Device did you buy or make, what does it look like, how has it evolved, and do you still use it?
>>
>>44318994
I could only afford the shitty free one. So its look is irrelevant, and obviously no, nothing that weak was ever useful nor does it have any capacity to evolve or potential for future use.
>>
>>44319026
You can totally buy one though, and on Mid Childa there is bound to be a whole mess of custom Device builders out and about.

Just pay someone heaps of money to build you your own custom order.
>>
>>44318994
I made the mistake of making a decent device for primary use during the jump, and continually using those devices and upgrading them in order to design the next generation. I ended up integrating this into my Mother Box when I got it in DC, to make it very much unlike any other mother box that existed there.

I kept upgrading that particular one for a very long time, for more than a hundred jumps - thousands and thousands of years, especially since the Civ jump was part of it. I just thought it had a lot of personality and moxie. And considering it started as a mother box, I started calling it Moxie. I didn't realize it had become truly self-aware until around the time of the Worm jump.

Now she's sort of a holographic little sister whose body remains hidden in a pocket dimension, who is hyper and always wants to explore and see what new things the universe has to offer. Best companion ever.

It was quite easy to bust through their defenses, they had never prepared for a Conduit of my power and ability after all. I quickly located Miss Augustine, and, after taking a couple vials worth of her blood and sticking it safely in the warehouse, used the device I had acquired.

Shortly, we both had Concrete powers. I tested it out for a minuted, and made an exit to the outside, Satisfied with this power, I "acquired" Augustine, and left.

Arriving back in Seattle, I found a district burnt to the ground and about one hundred of my guys dead. Apparently, during an operation overseen by the Boss (SR), Delsin and a friend, the girl who lies to throw around lasers, had barged in.

During the ensuing firefight (Heh.), Delsin called in backup, and The Boss did the same after said backup arrived. Shortly, Caim, a very good swordsman, and his fire breathing dragon arrived alongside two of the best soldiers of their universe.

Safe to say, their opponents, a punk with ash themed powers, a girl who could sling lasers about, and some guy who could make hardlight holograms were sorta outmatched. The laser chick was taken out courtesy of a sniper bullet from Venom, and Delsin had to retreat after he had an arm cut off.

The device I built though, was just the beginning. Where it really came together is when I applied numerous jumps worth of preparation in Soul Eater. That's when I imported my AI Companion from Archer, and my Intelligent Device from Nanoha, for combination with a bunch of my other primary weapons. Since it's also a companion, I dont have to worry about it getting destroyed either.

My LoT ended up with excellent engines, very good point defense grid, and the Jovian nova cannon.
We hit it with some trivial stuff to bait it out, then fell back, dropping remotely-controlled torpedoes of regular and Cyclonic variety on the Est's projected path; our Cobra-class escort also deployed torps to support.
When it entered the kill zone, we activated the remote-controlled torp's, and while it was preoccupied with those incoming, came about and let loose with war shots from the Jovian.
Point defense and our escort dealt with its drones and fighters.

We didn't see Delsin or his friends again until about 4 years later. By then, I'd became lord of all crime in the mid-west of the United States, and had risen up in rebellion against the government.

I was in my office that oversaw the city of Seattle, when looking up from paperwork, I saw an explosion at the front gate, and figures flooding into the streets. The army had somehow snuck an entire battalion of Conduits past the front lines and onto our doorstep.

The division(10,000) that was stationed there would have been able to handle them, but I decided to call in a couple we had training about a mile away while i was heading onto the roof.

There, i had a clear view of the battle going on in the street below, the flashes of light as Conduits let loose against my soldiers and their laser weaponry. I began charging my power to help, when Delsin appeared.

We chatted for a minute, he told me that his pal the hard-light hologram maker was distracting my companions for a moment. Then, the fight started. It was one of the harder ones i've had, but in the end, he was lying bloodless on the ground, and I was well fed. My companions handled the hologram guy by following his creations back to where he made them and killing him. The Conduit army was driven off, though at great cost in manpower.

I won the rebellion, and pretty much nothing else happened for the rest of the jump, and I left it carrying any, many vials of Conduit blood.

#the plan:be Atlantis,I've got a small town from my mega man stage,
,a ship almost as big as an equatorial degree of circumference that can drop buildings from orbit, plus the stuff from age of ice to help tie it all together, but I can plan as well as
Xanatos and I can make a few craters where used to be city states when I need to get my point across. I've got a nation of wonders surrounded by a heptadecagram of unparalleled destructive force. Via the Gauss Turrets and monoliths.
>>

>but I can plan as well as Xanatos
It's kind of sad that in a post full of ancient myths, powerful magics, nigh-inconceivable technology and things stranger still, this still stands out as the least believable thing.
>>
>>44319930
Jumper me not me me,There's a perk for that.

By not having any of those things that you mentioned to begin with. Some people just do not care.
>>
>>44319946
Not him, but that still seems like the least believable thing considering Jumper You's questionable track record of decision making.
>>
So prototype, if you go infected are you still contagious post jump?
>>
>>44320014
Making a good plan To do something =/= choosing good things to plan to do that will not have adverse consequences should you Succeed, My jumper largely succeeds at stuff that brings terrible consequences Which he then makes up another plan In order to Mitigate..
>>
>>44320035
>plan to do that will not have adverse consequences should you Succeed
No, see, part of making a successful scheme on the level of a Xanatos Gambit is that you have to be able to anticipate consequences, at least to some degree, because otherwise the whole plan fails at step two because step one was "blow up the sun" and step two was "set up a sustainable solar power plant."
>>
>>44320073
Yes but if step three is move the earth to a new solar system after everyone else has dismantled their solar plants giving you a monopoly you're still Golden. Besides I usually use it Defensively anyway.

why yes it does, pic-related
>>
>>44320091
That really doesn't make any sense and I'm just even more convinced your Jumper has no idea what the hell they're doing.

Honestly, using it "defensively" is probably a better idea in your case than taking any initiative whatsoever with it.
>>
>>44320026
Pretty sure it either says no or that you can control it.
>>
>>44320136
Which is pretty much what I do anyway, Empires were trying to plot against mine so I recognize that And Countered their schemes. Besides when I do use it Offensively I'm intentionally vague Because I know I couldn't write something believable, jumper me is rash impulsive and usually blitz'd out of his mind on A mixture of spice And Nuke
>>
>>44320168
>jumper me is rash impulsive and usually blitz'd out of his mind on A mixture of spice And Nuke

That's usually not a good xanatos gambit player.
>>
>>44320185
It would explain a lot.
>>
>>44320185
No it is not which is why I usually Play the "I can blow up the whole fucking planet don't mess with me" Card

Okay, so. Glad we've established he's basically the complete opposite of Xanatos, then. That was a confusing mental image.

Well when I'm sober I am,And again I mainly use them defensively. Both of these Highs wear off quickly so it takes me A bit but if pre-cog says things Are getting serious I take a break for a bit

Made the LoT into an Unison Device after using the Zords Black Box item to make it count as a companion.
>>
>>44320026
Your not even contagious during the jump.
>>
>>44320331
Say, speaking of which, what other options do we have to convert the Light of Terra into a companion?
>>
>>44320444
Off the top of my head that is the only way to do it without giving it a human form, Kancolle comes to mind as being the only other way I currently know of.
>>
>>44320444
Give it a soul so it counts as a child/creation? That would also have the benefit of not costing CP to import and that it's always been and is presumably fine to continue being a giant space ship.
>>
>>44320459
>Kancolle
>small c
>>
>>44320444
Make an AI for it using something like the SupCom perk that I think lets you make Companion level AI? There might be an in-jump solution too... Fleshmetal does say that the ship itself will awaken as a living void dwelling creature capable of learning, so that might work all by itself. If it doesn't you can uplift its mind to make it one.
>>
>>44320486
Your post then is the first time I've realized that was an abbreviation.
>>
So in terms of difficulty, how would each fate grail war be rated?

I need to know how to survive or protect my waifu/husbando servant/master
>>
>>44320531
Prototype>Strange Fake>Apocrypha>4th>5th is how I see it.
1st and 3rd are mostly unknown and it's up to the Jumper how hard they are for the most part as they'd need to make up most of the Servants and Masters, excluding the founders in 1st as well as Dual Saber and Avenger/Berserker in 3rd.
>>
>>44320531
I think it goes, SF>Apo>Proto>5>4
Strange fake is bullshit with the True Servants, Gilgamesh, Enkidu, etc.
Apo has Karna, Achilles, Vlad the Impaler, etc. who are all high-tier
Proto has multiple people with EX shit
5th has better Servants all around when compared to the 4th, with Saber potentially having Avalon usable, Medusa having an amazing mount and Mystic Eyes, Caster being able to do some pretty amazing shit, but being limited by other people having Magic Resistance, Assassin is able to fight/potentially kill Saber without Avalon, and you can't use non-passive Noble Phantasm(or equivalents, but that's up to you) while fighting him, Heracles is bullshit durable, with him only becoming more dangerous the more you kill him, and he can regen his lives if he gets away, AND GILGAMESH IS STILL AROUND
4th has good Servants, but overall, the 5th is more dangerous.

Oh, and the earlier wars don't have much known about them, so I can't say.
>>
>>44320137
>>44320362
The only note relating to being contagious/not is the bit at the end that you 'can' infect people but 99% mortality yadda yadda.

I see how you could take the 'can' part to make it something you control, but I was hoping the author had confirmed one way or another before assuming.
>>
>>44320768
Not being infectious is canon. Then again it's a rather poor go at a prototype jump, so who knows?

Unfortunately it had already been made by the time I found Jumpchain.
>>
So can Shiki and his Mystic Eyes of Death Perception or whatever they are called kill a servant?

Also, what exactly classifies as human peak for strength, speed, durability?
>>
>>44320867
Fuck knows.

World Record Holders.
>>
>>44320872
So Usain Bolt for speed. Whoever the fuck for strength... What about durability?
>>
>>44320867
The eyes can (Depending on the Servant, as usual) but Shiki can't. He's too slow and unskilled to match any Servant.

Whose the current record holder for that stat? There you go.

>>44320900
Durability is just a vague estimate you need to make. There's not really any accurate gauge in series or out of it.
>>
Would Like Riding A Bike and a few decades/centuries/thousand years be enough to learn how to apply weapon techniques to Deja-fu, or to apply Deja-fu techniques to weapon techniques?

If that one 300CP perk isn't enough does anyone know something that could help me learn to do this?

If it's impossible to do anything with Deja-Fu other than what's strictly listed I'll still take it, but I don't want to go on thinking I can learn to use it with weapons or magic punches or whatnot if it can't be done.
>>
>>44320919
Oh, forgot to mention that Like Riding A Bike is from Sword Art Online, and Deja-Fu is from Wuxia.
>>
>>44320919
Probably, if not there is a perk in Smite for channeling your abilities through a weapon. This added on would certainly let you.
>>
>>44320960
That's what I use to do magic punches, unfortunately Deja-Fu mentions that while your strength carries over abilities do not.
>>
I've slowly come to realize I want to rethink all my builds to be centered around a theme, what should I do as said theme and how would I change this build to suit it?

The first Jump, Pokemon:
Region: Kanto
Age: 15
Identity: Drop in
Starter: actual starter, Female Eevee, shiny (Named Lune)
Abilities: Freerunning, Blend in, Aura
Gear: HM Collection, 50K Pokebucks, Parachute, Wingsuit,
Rebreather, Med Kit, Motorcycle, Laptop, 3x Master Balls
Drawbacks: Marked, Damned
>>
>>44320960
Actually... disregard me here >>44320987 that just might work. If I use Like Riding A Bike to try to learn to do the technique with a weapon, and then channel Deja-Fu through the weapon as well I may be able to attack through time with a weapon.

Thanks Anon!

Anyone else have any ideas that could help this little combo?
>>
>>44320998
Given you named your Eevee Lune I'm assuming you evolve it into an Umbreon, so how about letting that affect your path through the chain? You work with abilities and skills that either work better at night, or are normally used at night. You could fit 'moon' in there as a sub theme, though I think there's a lot less Moon stuff than there is night/darkness stuff.

That could actually be rather fun. Hope you go with it.
>>
>>44320796
Oh, didn't know that about canon, I just looked at the wiki page for blacklight. Thanks
>>
>>44321013
Duplication from Teen Titans + Weapon from Soul Eater to wield yourself, that way your weapon can just use Deja-fu itself.
>>
>>44320900
Wasn't Bolt more about stamina? Like he was no slouch in the speed department, but I seem to remember his thing being he could keep running at a full clip for ridiculous long periods.
>>
>>44321043
It's because Blacklight (The virus that makes you a Prototype) just kills basically everything it infects. You'd know if you where leaking virus.
>>
>>44321083
And kills in seconds at that, it was actually a potentially viable bioweapon.
>>
>>44321035
The problem with that is Lune herself, when she gained human form, follows that theme. She picked up Assassination techniques from the AC verse, and is a Shadowcaster in forgotten realms, and gained the form of a black Scimitar Weapon in Soul Eater, I'm sure there's more, but that's her general theme. She's the Rogue of the party, but I need a theme for me.

> durability
If we're assuming "peak" in this instance to mean "the most insane bullshit a human has ever been capable of", it gets pretty insane. Rasputin's assassins had to try to several times before he stayed down. Teddy Roosevelt was famously shot in the middle of a speech and refused to go to get treated for it until he was finished talking ("I don’t know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot—but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose."). And then there's this guy in pic related, who took cannonballs and sledgehammers to the stomach for the purposes of a vaudevillian side show. People have survived grenade fire. This shit is not normal. But it has happened, and we have records of it happening.
>>
>>44321107
Well, if your partner is themed around the moon and darkness, the logical theme for you to adopt would be the sun and light.
>>
>>44321206
But I've got a Paladin that does that
should I just focus on gathering as many companions as possible?
>>
>>44321248
Put together a full adventuring party of companions, theme yourself as various questgiving NPCs?
>>
>>44321248
Look, if you have companions that do all of the things, you can either find something that they don't do, change the companion or their focus, double up with one of them, or just don't have a theme. Given you've gotten as far as you have without one you might not need one. Otherwise you're just going to have to take a good look at your chain and see if any common things pop out at you.
>>
>>44321055
I don't think that would work, the duplicates are all baseline humans With Minds like yours Except for the duplication ability. So they Wouldn't be able to transform into weapons
>>
>>44321536
Actually the first couple of clones have powers. The first gets full access and thus would be able to turn into a weapon.
It's when you start to make a bunch that they get to only body mod level.
>>
>>44316129
Fought The Iron Blood, as soon as we saw each other we headed straight towards one another firing all of our weapons. I managed to take down their shields while they did superfluous damage to mine. I rolled most of it and my Hecutor Pattern Plasma Macrocannon(mounted on my prow) cracked their armored prow, but that was ultimately irreverent because I turned faster than they could and hit them with my Graviton Pulsar. They ended up being crushed under the weight of their own ship, which I then lanced until there wasn't anything left.
>>
>>44321587
Even if you just make one that's basically double the fire power, plus weapon-meister bonds make there participants more powerful the more their souls resonate. What soul could you ever resonate with more than your own?
>>
Would Shiki's eyes kill the vessel of the Heroic Spirit or Heroic Spirit itself if he were to kill a servant?
>>
>>44321779
No.
>>
>>44321779
The eyes can't target something so far away as the throne of heroes, and it's questionable as to if the eyes could damage anything on the throne should they find a way there, only the servant itself would die.
>>
>>44321770
The only problem with that though is that it has to be weapon-meister for resonance to work. If you go Demon Weapon and clone yourself, you would be a weapon-weapon combination.
It's basically what the sisters Liz and Patty are, they can use each other as weapons but they can't resonate.
