Alright lads, listen up and listen good! Seems the fine job we done with that Heretical tosser has earned us some attention, of the most worrying kind.
Get your gear together for returning to the ship! If these Necrons don't stop spazzing out, we'll need to go meet the new boss.
>>
>Gear is all blackened and smouldering with the odd electrical discharge, skull mask is heavily cracked but you can still make out his signature smile
>Still not sure if his mission is complete
>Goes round to everyone holding a picture of Virmanthras and shrugging his shoulders ignoring all the necrons.
>>
>Still disguised as a praetorian guardswoman, the only thing that could give her away as a callidus is that she's keeping her ponytail.

I thought you had already met the commanding crew of the ship you jumped off from, captain.
>>
>>43926752
>gestures to the picture then points to the Virmanthras' remains.

Yeah, we got him alright. That's one more Traitor that won't be bothering anyone again.
>>
>>43926770
>types something into a data slate
>Wave's to you
>Autoinjectors start flooding his blood stream
>Collapses onto the floor
>>
>>43926766
I did, I think Greely did too, I'm not sure if the Inquisitor I met was his or a different one, but the rest of the guy's haven't.
And given that we all witnessed and then killed a partially transformed Daemon Prince -nice work there by the way-, we'll be getting 'seconded' to the Inquisition. It beats getting executed that's for sure.
>>
>>43926802
Also I'm surprised they sent him to do my job too, it's not like a space marine was that dangerous...

>>43926810
Hmm yes I do believe it's your regiment's best option, I've seen inquisitors execute whole populations for much less, hope the inquisitor you meet is in good mood.
>>
>>43926822
>>43926802
Hey, more scarily efficient assassins to kill the guy, the more likely it is that we -all- get to come home, so I can't really complain. Will he be okay? I'm nowhere near experienced enough to attempt to treat an Eversor's wounds.

Oh just so you know, it might been one of these louts that gave that Traitor the artefact, but I couldn't say as I've never seen it before. My sister Alice might have though, if it's the same one.
>>
>>43926875
>>43926822
>A Inquisitorial Thunderhawk Land's
>Stormtroopers clear the landing zone
>Saharduin now wearing some sort of helmet and imperial looking clothes run's out kicks Omicrons body.
>Shrugs
>Picks up the lifeless Eversor
>Collar around helmet glows and in gravelly voices with the odd bubble sound announces

"You any help needed?"
>>
>>43926875
As for the Eversor, calm down he's just shut himself down. They're not suppossed to even be awake outside asignements, the drugs in their system are too lethal for them to bear 24/7.

As for the artifact thing, that's treachery of the first level, did the perpetrator get executed?
>>
>>43926918
*picks up the Eversor, carries him to Thunderhawk*

Least all our gear is about the Inquisition ship. Know what it's name is, Delta?
>>
>>43926906
Not for the moment mate, but if you could leave a few Stormtroopers to watch over these Necrons it'd be appreciated.

>>43926918
>actually looks annoyed at the mention of the execution.

He most certainly did not. Despite the fact that giving the damned thing -assuming it's the same thing- to a Heretic isn't his only crime against the Emperor, nor even the only case of Heresy, he still lives. Much to our annoyance.
>>
>>43926958
That could be arranged quite easily actually.

>>43926950
The Eversor? He might have a dogtag over his neck.
>>
>>43926958
>>43926950

>Collar glows again
"Troopers stay ship"
>points at the thunder hawk
>Fins up at gary

"You skull man friend"

He's not in command of them so they'll go wherever the ship goes
>>
*appears from a bush* me head... Did I take too much fungus juice or something...? *looks around* I'll just... Sit here and be quiet...
>>
>>43926990
No, not him, the ship. Ah whatever, as long as my stuff is up there and I don't have to build a new still.
>>
>>43927027
I don't know. I was dropped at Cadia to infiltrate the sorcerer's ship, after that I was supposed to return by myself. The inquisitor ship up here is... certainly a benefit to speed things up on my end
>>
>>43926990
>grins slightly at that.

Well, we Praetorians will be indebted to you if you make it happen. And a Praetorian always pays his debts, of that you have my word.

>>43926997
Roger that, lets just hope things stay calm down here then.

>>43927027
It is, don't worry. By the way, how do you think we'll do with the I?

>>43927009
You missed one hell of a fight mate! We finally got that Heretic!
>>
>>43927112
Ah, good. Well that all depends on what the boss will be like, and what Ordo they're from. Kinda hope it's Ordo Xenos, personally.

>bubble noises as bubbles fill his rebreather helmet
>>
>>43927147
Of course you want the boss to be Xenos. I don't even need to wonder why.....

>>43927179
We're needed here for a bit longer, take....what, Omi wasn't it, up to the ship and get him some medical attention. We'll head up later.

I'd say give it to 75-100 posts for Ny to show before we head up to orbit to deal with our new lords and masters?
>>
>>43927179
So uh, what's the deal with that thing?
>>
>>43927214
Heh heh heh heh... Cause heretics don't make for good ingredients.
>>
>>43927179
>Now inside a waiting stasis chamber onboard

>>
>>43927112
I be quite sure it be fer better... I thought I saw Ol' Lady in those woods there. Not time o' me granddaughters grandson 'ta be elder yet. Not yet.
>>
>>43927214
To be fair a radical Ordo Xenos inquisitor is probably your best option out of all of them right now, he or she might allow some of these...

>Takes a look at the saharduin and later at the necron "Skitariis"

Auxilliary troops.
>>
>>43927217
>Bubble noises, collar glows
"Skull man best my combat, I serve him now and him masters"

>You notice the Saharduin is wearing adjusted imperial clothing baring the inquisitorial I and has some sort of void helmet re purposed for water. A collar fitted with a vox unit is also round its neck
>>
>>43927269
We'll most of us are still alive, so that can only be a good omen right?

>>43927281
As long as our new boss'll let us be done with that damned Heretic in our midst then we'll serve them happily. You don't harm a Praetorian get away with it.

Hm...you want me to find you an actual Praetorian Uniform? It should be less taxing than actually forming one? Maybe? Don't know how all that even works.
>>
>>43927353
No, thank you. I'd rather keep it this way. It's more efficient.
>>
>>43927353
I'm sure Alice has a spare hanging all immaculate in your Chimera...
>>
Rolled 2 (1d2)

rolling
>>
>>43927411
As you wish ma'am, might as well give yourself some NCO's stripes while you're at it. Pick anything you feel like. Excluding RSM, you only get one and Gary beat you to it.

>>43927430
Well we don't keep them in the Chimera's, but aye, our Dress Uniforms are all immaculate. We might need to wear them to meet the boss though.
>>
>>43927470
PANIC!
>>
>>43927485
I'll stick as a grunt, that way I can see how the regiment does really behave without kissing the ass of its higher rank officers
>>
>>43927485
That reminds me...
*hands back brassard and starts tattooing the rank onto his arm*
>>
>>43927470
>Nyzart stirs and begins stretching out an arm. As this happens every necron moves the same arm in the same fashion.

Ah. Well.
>>
>>43927541
>looks around the battlefield
That certainly took longer than expected. Have we destroyed the sorcerer?
>>
>>43927515
Well, how I'm seeing it working is we Praetorians, yourself included if you wish, along with a few of the others who are reliable are going to have to be the responsible ones and make sure the Regiment runs, period.

>>43927521
>accepts the Brassard and tucks it into a pocket.

As you wish mate, although we will need to get you some new armo-

>>43927541
>Arthur and Alice both jump as all of the Necrons abruptly start moving, with a shared "Fuck me!" as they scramble to raise their weapons.
>>
>>43927585
>Drops the disguise and aims the C'tan Phase Sword at Nyzart's neck.

We certainly did. Now tell me why shouldn't I just end another enemy of the imperium and why where you infiltrating the regiment.
>>
>>43927541
>Being pretty much a shark you can't tell if he looks fazed or not
>Storm trooper all drop to crouched firing position and start scanning their sectors
>Pilot start's getting twitchy
>>
>>43927629
Please proceed, as long as I can watch.
>>
>>43927629
Well I doubt it changes anything, but I suppose I should be the Arch-Traitors advocate and point out that this Necron has been at least 10 times more loyal than the 'Heretic Helper', who is also still alive.
>>
>>43927629
Because I can enter another body and you are surrounded by my soldiers? And the imperium is the least objectionable civilization to ally with.
>>
>>43927353
I need 'ta ask her why she visited me mind to know if this be her protection or yer strength. Considerin' the enemy was one who followed the boogeymen, I be not as sure as usual.
>>
>>43927674
I do not deny his usefulness nor that he's been helpful to an imperial cause. I'm only stating that he's a Xeno and his entire race have murdered entire world populations for the simple reason of "being there".

As for the other Heretic, he is at least human and thus may or may not deserve the right of a trial.
>>
>>43927686
> the metal frame of Ramothis slumps and falls over

And yes, they are MY soldiers.
>>
>>43927686
>>43927725
*finishes tattoo*
And you think we can't deal with these soldiers of yours?

How many are there?
>>
>>43927694
Well I would attempt to offer advice, but I'm no preacher. All I can suggest is that you believe what you think is right

>>43927704
You likewose raise some good points, however one must give the rebuttal that like I said, this Necron specifically is guilty of.....nothing aside from the obvious, whereas the Heretic is guilty of at least two different kinds of Chaotic Heresy along with many other charges, most of which should had him shot by now.
>>
>>43927781
considering we're on an awakened tomb world, I'd say they go for as far as the eye can see.

>>
>>43927831
>Arthur gestures futiley to the area around them, while Alice scowls at the discussion.

I doubt you'd believe me if I told you that the reason is because something keeps coming up, but that's the truth. For example, few days ago we were just about to kill him, the guns were aimed and loaded, then that Sorceror did Sorceror-y things and moved a bunch of Noise Marines into the Tomb we were outside.
That's it. Ask anyone else and they'll tell you much the same.
>>
>>43927831
I suppose I should adopt a form more suiting of my new title.

>the lights go out in Nyzart's eyes and the husk falls on the phase sword

>>
>>43927913
SIS! Where in the Emperor's name have you been?
>>
>>43927888
>Looks at you almost as if not believing it, then turns to the regiment as if waiting for a second opinion or a shake of a head to confirm the fact.

>>43927904

>Sheathes the blade and moves aside to let the husk hit the floor.
>>
>>43927930

>Makes a short, respectful bow.
I was holding a Xeno by the tip of my sword, but he seems to have slipped away somehow.
>Points towards the empty necron lord husk on the floor.
>>
>>43927904
SHOULD WE CLEANSE IT IN HOLY PROMETHEUM?
>>
>>43928004
Few things surprise me anymore...
>>43927974
Well Sis, even you sometimes have to make burning a heretic wait if something more pressing is at hand.

And I do believe this heretic's fate will be for the Inquisitor to decide...
>>
>>43927974
>Arthur nods respectfully at Theresia.

Convict Laroque is certainly a Heretic. We really should deal with him.
>>
>>43928018
Might as well...

*lights it up*
>>
Fuck, I get interrupted doing this so often I have to wonder why I even bother starting some times. Oh well, here I go again.

>>43928004

IS IT BECAUSE WE NEED TO EXTRACT INFORMATION?
I'm pretty good at that.
>>
>>43928025
Are you having a giggle mate? If that book of his had one of the Sisters in it then I bet you'd be all for killing him slowly and painfully.

>>
>>43928063
Probably, yeah. I know a few straightforward death world tricks for that purpose...
>>43928064
Look at it this way Skelly: we the Imperium of Man have methods of punishment worse than death. And I'd see every blunter put to good use in some way or another...
>>
>>43928094
That would be the voice of the Xeno's whose burning carcass' on the floor belongs to.

Captain I'll just say it once, I do not deny his usefulness, but I'm not ok on having a Xeno inside an imperial ship for Emperor knows how much time running around analyzing it. Imagine if he uses this data to attack our fleets, he'd know where to hit to cause the greatest damage.
>>
>>43928044
Hey Rama, oh just so you know, you were in line for a Promotion, but I'm not entirely sure if it's fitting now....

>>43928086
Some Heretical porn book he nicked from that Sorceror's ship apparently. It's in the holy box that Enginseer Nine has.

>>43928094
Convict Ron Laroque ma'am. He's a Heretic most foul.

>Both Arthur and Alice bow.
>>
>>43928094
He's a blank, and the heretic in question here. Gets himself into a lot of trouble he could have avoided.

And that? It's the body that Necron just vacated.

Oh and by the way, I struck the killing blow against that chaos Sorceror. There's his body over there...
>>
>>43928134
You seem to suffer from the delusion that all necron dynasties serve things other than their own desires. The silent king is my one allegiance, but even he shows a modicum of sympathy for you humans.
>>
>>43928139
By the context of the last statement...

Are you saying one of your troops featured in... er... one of those... "magazines"?
>>
>>43928111
But we will make use of him Gary, as target practice of course. It's what he deserves.

>>43928134
Again this is very true and if you wish to slay it then we won't get in the way, as it is your right. I'm just saying that I'd rather we kill one if we're going to kill the other...
>>
>>43928134
>>43928167
>Aims towards the necron warriors.
Specially if the Xeno has ears everywhere already.
>>
>>43928143
EXCELLENT.

>>43928139
I remember reading a troubling report from the Absentminded Techpriest at how this blank made a pass at the navigator. IT IS NO SURPRISE HE IS A HERETIC.

I SAY ENOUGH!
THE IMPERIUM HAS MANY USES FOR BLANKS, WE HAVE LITTLE OF THEM, BUT IF WE ALLOW HERESY TO PREVAIL, IF WE ALLOW OUR VALUES TO BE CORRUPTED OUT OF EASE AND UTILITY, WE ARE NO BETTER THAN THE FOUL ELDAR!
>>
>>43928172
Yep. Apparently it was Ensign Alice, no less.
>>43928175
Like I said, let's leave it up to the Inquisitor.
>>
>>43928172
>Alice busies herself retreating into a foxhole while Arthur jerks a thumb over his shoulder in his direction.

Indeed ma'am. One Ensign Alice Wellsley, who I can say with complete honesty has done none of what the 'document' claims she has.
>>
>>43928167
THE ONLY ALLEGIANCE I HAVE RESPECT FOR IS TO THE ONE TRUE GOD OF MANKIND.

*aims flamethrower at Nyzart*
>>
>>43928205
As you say, Sis. As you say....

By the way, if you've got steam, we have a group going there now, to stay in touch and coordinate our scheduling.
>>
>>43928167
Like we care what your heathen xenos gods think!

*primes a melta*
>>
>>43928239
My guests, it seems that one of your friends has become unruly. Would you mind calming her, or shall I come up and show her the proverbial door?
>>
>>43928280

Where is 9 anyway? We're gonna need him...
>>
>>43928235
>Moves head aside to see the ensign over the other troops.
She certainly doesn't look like the kind that does these... things.
She also looks like she could use some talk about this... heresy.
>>
Why is everyone forgetting that we're surrounded by an entire army of Necrons? I'm all for purging the Xenos, but we cannot do this if we are dead.

>>
>>43928331
my bad I had no clue of the location
>>
>>43928331
I haven't forgotten them, it's just that if my experience has teached me something is to keep yourself calm when surrounded by enemies. We obviously can't kill the necrons ourselves, but maybe the inquisitorial ship can kill the planet if it comes to that.
>>
>>43928311
If you refer to talking to her about the book, she knows, she doesn't like talking about it. Which is why it was particularlly annoying when that Heretical.....tosser just wouldn't shut up about it.

>>43928429
Because, he's not a fool Gary. Well, he is a fool, but not idiot. In all my 999,999 (if my chronometer is even possibly correct) days of active service, I have yet to see evidence that war is the preferable alternative to peace. That said, I have also yet to meet a trustworthy xenos.
>>
>>43928381
In THIS Regiment? They'll kill nearly everyone of them.

>>43928382
No worries.

>>43928391
Very true, but if we can live to serve the Emperor another day then we have served the Emperor another day after all.

>>43928408
I believe the Inquisitor should decide this.

And while this is a matter that I really can't speak for Greely on, like AT ALL, I believe that said Inquisitor was of the opinion that Ny should be allowed to do his thing, but to be watched closer than CoD Kiddies watch their K/D.
>>
>>43928429
I was under the impression that the imperium had mastered cloning technology. Your quartermaster certainly possesses genes that are quite similar to several other guardsmen in this very regiment. I know not how they got their personality, but generally clones are soulless husks, and inhabiting a used body rubs me the wrong way.

Very well Troopers, I'll call for our Transports. RSM, I trust you'll assemble the men?
>Arthur jogs off towards Battleaxe and climbs in through the rear hatch, while Alice climbs out of her foxhole and attempts to look 'small'.

So, we head topside and while we figure out how exactly to deal with Nyzart, promotions are given out in full da?
>>
>>43928691
Ah, there you are... Some of them, but not all...Take a seat right there.
>>
>>43928722
You got it, Sarge. What's going on?
>>
>>43928716
Ok!

>>
>>43928691
You're a heretic, I have to bombard this world and I don't even know how, and my ship might be broken.
>>
>>43928736
HERESY, THATS WHAT IS HAPPENING.

ALSO WE ARE ON A PLANET FULL OF XENOS.
>>
>>43928736
Ahem...

*a legion of Necrons is surrounding them*

Also, the Inquisitor will decide what's to be done about you.
>>
>>43928691
So, you're the famous heretic I've been hearing about the whole day. I have my eyes on you.
>>
>>43928743
I'm a heretic again? People need to tell me these things. So I can tell them it's impossible,

>>43928767
Wait, you mean the Necrons?

>>43928769
Oh. OH. Guess I'll wait for the judgement to be passed. Not like we're doing anything else.
>looks at the Necrons, hoping they're Nyzart's
>>
>>43928798
I've also had a bit of a weird time since we last saw each other.
>>
>>43928798
Ah! Laroque. We appear to have defeated the daemon prince, but our friends do not seem to believe that I don't wish to exterminate them.

note: I made another body and now I look like this >>43928663
>>
>>43928794
>eyes the Callidus
Jeez, that's a lotta leather. Intimidating, that.

>>43928835
Emperor, Rama, good to see you. What... Happened?
>>
>Alice shuffles over to LIX and points to Ron.
>"That's Laroque ma'am. Incase you wished to know...."

>Meanwhile the Inquisitorial Thunderhawk and a pair of larger Troop Transports head towards the landing area, escorted by an abnormally high number of Vulture Gunships, in both Inquisitorial and Imperial Navy colours.
>The Thunderhawk and Transports land in the clearing and drop their ramps, while the Vultures start orbiting the area.
>Arthur climbs back out of the Chimera and marches over to the group.

Alright men! 1st Platoon on the Thunderhawk with the armour! Everyone else on the Transports!
>>
>>43928852
THRONE, NYZART! That's pretty awesome, if a bit heavy-handed. Since apparently I'm ONCE AGAIN in trouble, I can't really vouch for you.
>>
>>43928856
Sucked into the warp that time the Geller field broke, got vivesected and turned into a Thallax somehow, half-expierenced the Great Crusade and parts of the Heresy, regained consciousness a few days ago on board the inquisitorial ship in an old storage locker.
>>
>>43928884
Hey, big robots are... In. Techpriests will be all over you. Hope you like mechadendrites.
>>
>>43928864

>Grabs the filled heresy box, before heading towards the Thunderhawk.
>>
>Follows the rest to the transports, keeping an eye on Nyzart and Laroque
>>
>>43928864
>approaches the thunderhawk
>>
>>43928864
Alright! YOU HEARD THE MAN YOU SLUGS! GET ABOARD!

>>43928879
Psssh, always the marginalized misfit...
*drags him aboard the Thunderhawk, cuffs him to a rail*
>>
>>43928864
>Boards the transport.
>>
>>43928954
Oh my, Sarge, cuffs? You know me better than that. If it makes you feel safer, I won't complain, but it's not necessary.
>>
>>43928953
Now I'm sure you have your own ship by this point... I may have some patience, but the Callidus appears to have much less...
>>
>>43928977
It's so you don't wander off to get yourself in more trouble. I'm trying to help you here.
>>
>>43928989
>ponders this
Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Thanks.
>>
>Alice walks up the ramp of the Thunderhawk and attempts to hide herself in a corner, meanwhile Arthur is discussing something in hushed tones with one of the Stormtroopers that was onboard.
>Battleaxe and Crusader are driven up the ramp and locked down, with Metal Slug close behind, driven by a Praetorian who then climbs out and jogs over to Crusader.
>The rest of the Regiment has boarded their Transports, which appear to be preparing to takeoff.
>>
>>43929011

>Places the heresy box down on a table in the thunderhawk, before placing the other booby-trapped box filled with the magazines ontop of it and taping both of them together.
>>
>>43928978
Fair enough. I'll gather my honor guard and board your cruiser.

>a ship that resembles an oversized ghost ark hovers nearby. Nyzart walks to it and boards via antigravity
>>
>>43929034
What, I thought you were going to destroy that stuff. That's why I gave it to you. Did the Detective have a change of heart? Doesn't seem like the type.
>>
>>43929044
Oh I don't think so. I mean surely you have your own spacecraft buried here somewhere...
>>
>>43929053

>Points to the inquisitorial seal placed on the lid of both boxes.
>Pulls out a laspistol and begins guarding the boxes...
>>
>>43929080
The inquisitor will most likely want to meet him in person, he should actually come, we just need to keep an eye over him and stab when the inevitable betrayal comes.
>>
>>43929099
*menacing growl*
If you say so... I hope there's plenty of multi-meltas aboard...
>>
>>43929098
>looks offended
I gave those to you so they would be destroyed, not used for... Well, I can guess, but I don't want to assume anything just in case I'm wrong. I don't appreciate having my cooperation met with deception.

Ron will remember that...
>>
>>43929044
>>43929053
>>43929099
I believe I can solve this problem. Nyzart, board the Thunderhawk. LIX is right.

I'll leave the Inquisitorial negotiations to you Nyzart.
>>
>>43928977
HOW ABOUT A FLAMER TO YOUR HEAD?
>>
>>43929127
Quit whining. They'll destroy that shit, just on their own time.

>>43929140
Alright, Skelly. I trust your judgment...
>>
>>43929154
Palatine! Not inside a transport ship please! Refrain yourself to use just melee or a boltgun.
>>
>>43929154
>looks over, cocks an eyebrow, and looks away

>>43929170
I just wish they'd get rid of it already. Don't need to be reminded that certain people want me dead.

>Facepalms yet again.

>>43929154
Hnnnn... Throne, it's good to have you back, Theresia.
>>
>>43929189
Me too, but that's just the way bureaucracy is.
>>
>>43929190
There must be something I'm not understanding here. This is why you shouldn't have you voice-box removed, people.

>>43929196
You really have a thing for Sisters, don't you?
>>
>>43929219
Uhuh. Yep... as every Guardsman worth his lasgun oughta.
>>
>Arthur turns away from the group and activates his combead, apparently talkong to the Pilot.
>"All personnel on board, seal her up and get us topside."
>Arthur's conversation is accompanied with the loading ramp lifting and sealing shut, then the feeling of the Thunderhawk taking off and gaining altitude.

ETA to landing is ten minutes, enjoy the peace while you can.

>>43929127
>>
>>43929234
I mean, of course, Sisters of Battle are amazing. But if I were you I'd stick to hitting on one. Live longer that way.
>>
>>43929248
>>43929127
Forgot to add the second bit but: >The guy who repeatedly decieved his Superiors by repeatedly saying he'd destroy the book only to not do it is complaining about deception.
>Same guy only got rid of it by sort of extorting a Detective working for the Super Spooks
>Chuckling_Praetorians.intelfile
>>
>>43929248
> if anyone looks out the window they can see small groups of tau holdouts fighting against the necron hordes
>>
>>43929271
>Leaning on a wall.
If I were any of you I'd rather not speak about it in front of a sister of battle.

It's not like they have it easy to resist the charms of a Catachan and still remain "pure" for the emperor, they don't need a reminder that the catachan wants to hit them.
>>
>>43929248
Y'know, the one good thing about this new body is that I can jump again. Nothing like soaring through the air on wings of fire. Makes me nostalgic of when I had a face to feel the wind on.

It's good to be back with the guard after all these years.
>>
>>43929271
Heh heh heh... one has to be a man of action, to get farther than that. You gotta praise the Emprah, and murder the shit out of anything that opposes him.
>>
>>43929294

It's not even the books that Ron directed 9 and the detective to. It's just seventeen magazines flinched from the pockets of random shady guardsmen.
>>
>>43929294
HEY. You're only partially right. I didn't extort anybody, it was so that Lim and I could find another way to boost morale while also making money. The deception part was for that very same reason. GOOD INTENTIONS!

>>43929306
>stares blankly GET IT?!?!?!?!

>>43929319
Both of which I do. But taking it slowly and wooing a woman has it's merits, I'd argue. Sure, it is slower, but the payoff is better.
>>
>>43929306
*grin*
And how about you, bet you've had to do some things for the Emprah...
>>
>>43929338
"Wooing a woman" like what you were doing with that navigator lover boy?
>>
>The Detective's voice comes in over Vox

Sergeant, I have the offending materials. I thought you and/or your sister might want to confirm their incineration personally, so I held off on destroying them.

Is Laroque with you?
>>
>>43929338
Oh yeah, I forgot a third thing: you have to be good at it. And I mean DAMNED good...
>>
>>43929362
>Inspecting blade.
Well the last time someone indecently proposed me to "woo" in the Emperor's name, he...
>Unsheathes blade.
Was my target. His little jimmies were the first thing that were severed from his body.
>>
>>43929383
Don't think just because you're an awesome death-bot that I won't find a way to hurt you.

>>43929395
Now that's just unfair. Not my fault most people dislike me just because I don't have a soul.

>>43929404
Throne, that's intimidating. I'm not sure how I feel about that, for some reason...
>>
>>43929387
>Nyzart's personnel carrier arrives in the hangar
>>
>>43929429

>Glares at Ron, before twitching some of the medicae mechadentrides and "subtly" turning on the saws....
>>
>>43929404
*his respect for her intensifies and gets slightly turned on*

Nice work...

Yes, Gary, as a proper blood knight, is aroused by violence and zeal.
>>
>The Thunderhawk and Transports ease to a halt inside Cargobay Primaris onboard the Inquisitorial Vessel with the Imperial Navy Vultures RTBing and the Inquisitorial ones landing inside the hangar.
>The loading ramp of the Thunderhawk drops open showing a Cargobay with several squads of Inquisitorial Stormtroopers positioned to aim at the ships, mostly the Thunderhawk.
Arthur takes a megaphone from one of the Thunderhawk's Troopers and starts speaking.

"1st Platoon disembark the Thunderhawk and form up near the doors. Rest of the Regiment surrender your weapons and comply with the demands of the Inquisitorial Forces! This is for your own safety."

RSM, strip Convict Laroque of his equipment, along with the rest of em.

>Two squads of Troopers assemble near Nyzart and gesture towards the exit to the bay.
Well, looks like that Inquisitor wants to get straight to business.

Your game now Ny. Although I would say it was AN Inquisitor, not THE Inquisitor, because Greely owns THE Inquisitor.

>>
>>43929436

>Inquisitor Verasii is waiting with most of her retinue, including 3-man deathwatch fireteam. They do seem to be in formal dress, though.

"Detective, is time to be gettings off vox."

"Very well, Inquisitor. Tell him I'll tell him later."

>The detective puts the vox away.
>>
>>43929429
Listen kid, it's been ten millennium since I've felt the warmth of a woman. Don't fuck around.

Sir, I am physically incapable of surrendering my weapon. Aside from the fact I am a weapon.

>activates his combead to respond to Greely.
"It's appreciated mate, we'll meet you in the Hangar. You're a good lad."

>>43929481

>Nods, approaches Ron and begins removing his equipment, conveniently forgetting to turn off the active medicae saws and drills...
>>
>>43929481
Alright you, come on now.
*gets Laroque up, leads him out, hands still cuffed*
>>
>>43929481
>Disembarks the transport and leans outside.
>>
>>43929521
Not your fault because you weren't here when it was mentioned, but 1st Platoon is all PC's, so Rama is excluded from the Surrender Weapons order.
>>
>>43929537
Swear to the Emperor, if you damage my power-glaive, I'll... Do something about it?

>>43929549
Getting real tired of being under investigation. Greely already cleared me.

what are we up to?

>>43929531

>The inquisitor briefly smiles.

"Those documents. I assume his sister is of Callidus, no?"

>The detective winces.

"No, Inquisitor. Those documents were an alternate possibility that didn't happen. I told you as much when you authorized their destruction. I assume you'll want to examine the items 9 has too before we burn them."

>She nods, then moves to address Nyzart

Greetings, Nyzart. Pleasure is all mine. I much prefer this to other meetings I have had with your, how you say, cousins?

>The inquisitor is wearing garb reminiscent of a Commisar, indicating her former profession.

>>43929603
Nyzart wants to make a Necron-Human alliance with his tomb world, so he's going to have a chat with the inquisitor.

"Ok, so, the Color Sergeant."

>The detective has a black garbage bag full of heretical smut.

"I leave the destruction of these to you and your sister."

>Hands the sergeant the bag

"As to the Pariah, I have a few things I need to explain to him."

>The detective pulls him aside

"Look, just because you're basically immune to heretical mind-fuckery doesn't mean everyone else is. Treat any and all chaotic material like it were highly radioactive, your own immunity notwithstanding. Just for future reference."

>>43929736

Inquisitor Verasii seems quite intrigued, but one of her deathwatch guardians takes the box. She rolls her eyes for a second, then allows him to open it for her.

It's just... this regiment has a pariah... and almost all the survivors to Necron exterminations have been blanks, I fear that Laroque's might have been the only reason he stood around helping the regiment, I don't know why, I don't even know if this is the cause, but it worries me.
>>
>>43929952
>accepts the Flamer with a smile.
Cheers mate. Alice! Get out here!

>Alice dutifully shuffles out of the Thunderhawk and ambles over over to Arthur, only to have the Flamer forced into her hands as Arthur tosses the bag away from the assembled forces.
>With a bit of prompting -and whispered discussion of the bag's contents- from Arthur, Alice aims the weapon towards the materials and lets off a burst of blessed fire, utterly destroying the bag and it's contents.
>afterwards Alice hesitates a bit then offers the Flamer back to Gary.
"Don't really feel any better. Arthur might though."
>>
>>43930052

There are areas I would not recommend of going, certainly. And persons with whom you would be wise not to associate, should you continue your travels with penal unit.

The paper is meant for the one who carries it so we can conduct discussions with a degree of formality as to the future of world - and how it was you came to kill for Emperor.
>>
>>43930112
Excellent! In exchange for this, I am willing to dedicate a percentage of my forces to your cause, and I will continue to serve with the penal regiment. I cannot say that I won't be called back to my home intermittently, however.

>>43930102

>>
I've just noticed this might be the last thread on the tropical resort saga, I might have to update the 1d4chan page these following days.
>>
>>43930168
Ron is just Ron. He's going to do the things he does, and he does them for his own reasons. Though, he isn't even close to antagonistic, you just seem to focus on him too much. I need not remind you who has tried and failed to kill him on multiple occasions, while he tried to avoid conflict with anyone on his side.
>>
>>43930204
Blame it on the pariah bad-feels aura.
>>
>>43930168
>>43930204
Easy now. Let's not let this become an argument between players. That's a surefire way to destroy good things like this.
>>
>>43930204
Maybe the Praetorians are focusing on him too much because he keeps doing Heretical shit(Hurr durr I'm immune therefore fuk off just doesn't fly when Xenos shaggers are ALSO deemed Heretical) and ignoring perfectly reasonable orders. Repeatedly. And wow. Blaiming me for the Dice being against me Really? I have no words. Just a desire to use more guns next time. All the guns actually. Because their will be a next time.

>>43930260
It's too late Gary, shots have been fired.

>>
>>43930311

>>
>>43930329

Affirmative, the relic the daemon was using by the planet's surface has been added to it. My duty was to terminate the sorcerer and make sure the artifact never fell at the wrong hands. It is now complete.

Last I saw, the techpriest was stripping the accussed heretic from his gear.

>The sorcerer's artefact, several handfuls of chaos regalia from across the spectrum(No Slaaneshi, however), a plague marine's accursed bolter sealed in a contaminants bag as well as a Tau Commander's sigil, ripped straight from the battlesuit.

>Begins work on untrapping the magazine container and opening it.
>>
But I'm going to be the civil one and end this on the thread here by saying this: If the argument of "Ron is just being Ron, and he's immune so he can do whatever he wants" is perfectly fine, then the counter argument of "The Praetorians are just being Praetorian and Ron has kept pushing both varieties of their buttons(Which he has, so don't try to lie) so it's perfectly justified" must also be perfectly fine. Otherwise just stop.

Man, you're being so immature about this. Of course the guy without a soul is immune to Warp shit. Not all Warp shit, mind you, but yes, the mind-altering porn is just porn to him. You throwing a hissy-fit over someone doing something you don't like, then throwing an ENTIRE REGIMENT at them, doesn't fly with me. I stopped doing the drawing thing because it was more trouble than it was worth, but I'm not going to have my character killed because you refuse to calm down about something that isn't even a problem any more.

I am assuming that the 'standard issue' you mentioned last thread means the stereotypical SoB armour, which includes the boobplate. If not then change that to the fact that the SoB armour is generally more 'form fitting' than Peasant Guardsmen gear.
