I'm trying to create a homebrew race of weird beings that look like pic related. I have no idea what to call them yet nor where to get more pictures, but I really like the basic look.
I'm thinking their abilites could be something relating to extreme animal abilites; like resistances to the elements and magic, perhaps also an immunity to poisons or disease. Natural claw, horn, and fang weapons, maybe even a bladed tail?
What would you do with these things?

How about this:
It's a biopunk urban fantasy. Demons enter the world through a "god-gene" inserted into animals through the blood-magic of genetic modification.
They emerge from chicken eggs and cattle wombs, and increase their strength by consuming GMO soy, lentils, and corn.
Their end goal is to try and get humans to encourage human beings to genetically engineer their own offspring to create "designer children". This will allow them to infect humanity with the god-gene.

The creatures are called 'Archons' and they are trying to bring about the rebirth of the 'Demiurge' through designer babies.
They have an empathic connection to enhanced humans called Grinders, and play the role of mutated spirit animals on every Grinder's quest of transhuman self-realization.
Each Order of Archon corresponds to a different Hack.

Call them Catharti. I'm not sure about the tail or horn weapons seeing as they are an aven-esque race but a serrated beak could be cool, maybe just give them claws on the feet so they can have a culture-specific martial art of fighting using their feet (like that bloke from One Piece).
