This, could actually easly fit in quite well with the usual X-Men related bullcrap.
I mean, it's not even close to Cables backstory. Or indeed, pretty much any member of the Summers family.

This does not get you hired.
>>43593864
Because it's abridged version, the original had more frames and wall of text.
Also speech bubbles with most of text removed are sort of /tg/ OotS meta joke.
>>43593864
It's an edited version from some Marvel comic where an alien disguised as Black Widow tries to seduce Stark. She reveals the deception during foreplay, and Stark's only response is to ask whether it meant they were still gonna fuck.
Filename would probably have made more sense if the guy left in the original dialogue.
>>43593490
Why do you need a high capacity scabbard and a pommel thing that goes up? Are you planning on killing younglings?

>>43594249
Man this image is retarded, this is pathetic attempt at self-wankery. Germans never feared US troops, infact they were considered a secondary threat. All the good troops and equipment went to the fight against russians.
Hell, the US troops didn't even get to fight germans even nearly as much as the british. British bore the brunt of the german armored troops in normandy and the fulda gap.
>>43594984
Those are actually quotes, son. Sorry you grandad was kekked by an American GI.
>>43595146

>>43595415
Citation needed, but 'a russian document', 'a German General' and 'anonymous' are "quotes"?
>>43595467
Just because they're quotes doesn't mean that the information being quoted is accurate. More importantly, as you stated, it's pretty heavy self-wank. You, however, posted something that would be considered a historical fact, and thus needs some form of backing, or as Anon put it, citation needed.

Hitler's justification for not sending troops from Calais to Normandy was literally fear that Patton was going to lead the main thrust of the invasion through Calais.
He couldn't comprehend that we were actually serious about punishing Patton for slapping that kid around during the campaign in Italy, was convinced that D-Day was a diversion because there was no way we wouldn't put Patton in charge of the main thrust.

Can you imagine the horror. A small troop of cavalry barely makes it across no man's land in a daring raid but are swiftly surrounded. The advancing German's are shocked to discover nearly a platoon of men on each horse, their faces white as the snow. Terror sets in as the mass of entangled men emits a casual, "howdy" in a synchronous cacophony of voices. Disentangling themselves with practiced ease they each tip their hats with a revolver and wonder, "Why so serious?"

That book is the most toxic, detrimental reading material possible for a new Dungeon Master. He literally recommends that you twist any assets or advantages a character has into pure drawbacks.
Someone has supernatural luck? Every time they invoke it, they get put in a significantly worse situation.
Someone is immune to disease? Make a disease that bypasses their immunity, but make it that they're immune to the cure anyway.
Someone can attack enemy weak points? Make every battle require they not kill anyone, then make every attack they perform instant death.
That's just the tip of the bullshit he endorses. He once sidelined a player's character, then asked them to come to each session and watch. No, worse than that, he would repeatedly ask the incapacitated character what they would do on their turn. HE DID THIS FOR SIX MONTHS.
Fuck his guy, and fuck that book. He's apparently coming out with a sequel as well, because apparently the world needs TWO books filled with the worst possible gaming advice.

Maybe not, but that particular German who was quotedassuming that those quotes weren't just pulled out of someone's ass. "A German General Officer" isn't exactly an example of rigor and specificity.felt the need to comment in that way on American military practices. Backhanded compliments/complimentary-sounding insults aren't really an indicator of fear, either.
