Should be moved up to AA soon but may have his innings limited.
Sean Reid-Foley (Toronto A)
20 year-old with a live fastball and a good changeup. Some improvement this year in command and breaking stuff but both still need work. His arm action is fine but if his delivery ever gets off-kilter it could get ugly for him. Could be a #2 or just get blown up the second he reaches the upper minors

Sometimes Mattingly would tell Kershaw in the dugout if he was ready to come out and Kershaw would get heated because he wants go as long as possible. It usually doesn't backfire, but obviously he got blown the fuck out by the cards.
Whoever watched the nats vs kershaw match 2 days ago could see that the game was very similar to Kershaw vs the cards in that he looked completely dominant and then broke down in the 7th. Only difference is that Nats failed with risp. Earlier in the season Marlins did the same to Kershaw where they exploded in the 7th despite getting 1 hit for 6 innings.

It's actually the exact opposite. Mattingly had Kershaw on a much shorter leash than most managers would. You have to remember that they both knew each other from when Kershaw was a nobody prospect. Kershaw is a pretty level headed guy and calm those few times we've seen him explode in the dugout are the ones that were made public.
He pulled him out in situations where Kershaw could have survived. And he's left him in when it's clear he's past fatigue and can't even get on a 0-2 count.

So, I went to a game at Marlins park yesterday, and it was actually comfy af tbqh. It's a nice ballpark, clean, good concessions, reasonable ticket prices ($50 for right behind home plate), friendly staff. Why can't that team draw any fans?
