I'm Cuban and I know this is complete bullshit. Baseball media outlets have been promoting guys like Cespedes and Puig 24/7. MLB's youtube channel literally had a video just showing off all the different cars that Cespedes drove to training. And this isn't a new thing either. Sosa, A-Rod, Pujols, Cabrera....pretty much every season for the last 20 years or so, one of the most popular and most promoted players has been latino.
