GOALKEEPERS
Grandpa Given was brought along for the ride. Hopefully he gets nowhere near the team. Randolph will start even though Westwood's had the better season, because Westwood and O'Neill seem to have some beef (Westwood missed some squad meet ups with injury).
DEFENCE
Any of our four centre backs could start, but Duffy is least likely to, while it's hard to pick what two from O'Shea, Keogh and Clark it will be. O'Shea has looked his age in recent Ireland matches. Our fullbacks will be Coleman and Brady. Brady is really a winger, so his defence is pretty dodgy. His free kicks are our best chance at scoring though. Marc Wilson, who covers all the back four and might have been starting LB, is out injured.
MIDFIELD
We'll probably play a midfield diamond. Whelan at the base (he won't leave our half), McCarthy on the right, Hoolahan at the tip. Not clear who the last spot is. Could be Brady, if O'Neill puts Ward at LB instead. Probably Hendrick, even though he's been shit recently. Harry Arter might have started but is out injured.
FORWARDS
Long and Walters up front. Both run a lot. If we change our shape, Walters usually goes out to the right wing. Both quick, fit and good in the air. Keane and Murphy are the back ups. Murphy might start one or two games and just stand up top, with Long coming on against a tired defence. If we're chasing a match in the last 10 mins, O'Neill might see if Robbie Meme can bail us out yet again, even though his best days are well behind him.

Not a guaranteed starter. If you want to take a punt on someone cheap who might not start, pick someone from group A, B or C, because of how the substitutions work. Depth is really important and you generally want your dead-certs to be in the later groups and your punts to be in the early ones
