Rule change:
Get rid of walks. They were never meant to be a defensive weapon, but to punish a pitcher for not throwing strikes. They became a defensive weapon in the 1920s. That was completely against the intent of the rule.
It's easy to do: just stop counting Balls. The pitcher faces the batter until he strikes him out or the ball is put in play, period. If he really wants to work around a batter, he can throw pitches out of the strike zone until his arm falls off, but he will still have to throw three over the plate.
This change will be good for baseball.
