Everybody sucks the Raiders dick when it comes to tecmo bowl but there were some good counter attacks. Barry Sanders was pretty OP but I loved playing as the Bills. Jim Kelley was one of the best quarterbacks in the game.and Thurman Thomas was pretty good too.

Good, that means he'll be more rested for his snaps as a receiver. They're also wanting to play him outside more often, so we might see him take the next step up this season.

yeah he's the exception, but he's more of a hothead than anything. seriously, they had to tell him just to run down to the other side of the court just so that he wouldn't react, since several of his technicals weren't even really fouls, just him blowing up over something. sure he can play a bit dirty too, but no team is perfect. watching westbrook flop like a fish trying to draw nonexistent fouls on jumpers is just painful.

except take andre williams the fuck out of it and replace with vereen for a great scatter back or rashad jennings for a decent workhorse. Williams is just shit.

This is my list, as a NYG homer

All NFC-East team:

QB - E. Manning

LT - T. Smith
LG - J. Pugh
C - W. Richburg
RG - Z. Martin
RT - L. Johnson

WR1 - O. Beckham
WR2 - D. Bryant
WR3 - D. Jackson (Not sure who to put here, seems weak compared to 1 & 2)
TE: - J. Reed
RB: - E. Elliot (probably)
RB2 - S. Vereen

I'd rather them give money to their young talent than to continue to overpay for Denver's. That Julius Thomas deal was just awful and they're paying twice as much to Malik as Denver is giving Wolfe when they're literally the same qualty of players.

>Brees No.6
>Wilson No.8
>Bortles No.14
>Flacco No.15
>Carr No.17

I know you can't please everyone with these lists but the 3 biggest are absolutely absurd

1. Nobody has been a better QB than Tom Brady since 2010
2. Palmer has won a a single playoff game in his life and that wasn't until surrounded with an absolutely ridiculous amount of talent. He is not an elite QB above either Brees or Wilson
3. Bortles hasn't even won 10 games in his career. To put a player above a guy who was drafted the same year as he was while being far more successful in Derek Carr AND an actual Superbowl MVP in Joe Flacco is completely baffling

Blake Bortles had 18 interceptions and 14 fumbles last year. Don't be surprised when he shits the bed this season and turns into Derek Anderson 2.0 and remember where you heard it first

Also he was sacked more than anybody else over the last 2 years
14 fumbles on 55 sacks is fewer than Brett Favres 14 on 34 sacks in his second year
Bortles line is the worst in the NFL and if he can get even 1 extra second to read the field he will look great
>>

He's been a durable back. Not concerned. But any given sunday...

The only one the Jags have really worth eventually resigning for big money is Robinson and it's better to give out big front loaded contracts now with all the cap space than later when he and Bortles are in contract years.

>Having a passionate fan base and the loyal support of our season ticket members is vital to the success of our organization. We value the commitment you've made to us in the past, so I felt it was important to reiterate to you my duty to build the Detroit Lions into a consistent, championship-caliber franchise.

>It isn't going to happen overnight; it is a step-by-step, day-by-day, week-by-week process, but I'm very happy with the strides we've made in a short amount of time.

>We've just concluded the 2016 NFL Draft. Our goal going in was to acquire tough, big, physical and durable men that are versatile football players. I feel we accomplished that. A focal point for us in the Draft was to add more quality players to our offensive and defensive lines because both units are critical to the success of any football team.

>In addition to improving the Lions roster through free agency and the Draft, our players are benefitting from a superior daily training structure with new strength and conditioning coaches and the addition of a performance dietician to our staff. We've completely renovated our weight room, made improvements to our athletic training room, and player's locker room. Our coaches and support staff are placing a strong emphasis on enhancing the way we develop our athletes.

>We were able to do this because of Mrs. Ford's promise to give the fans what they deserve -- a winning team. This is the main reason I came to Detroit. There is more work to be done, but we've put a strong foundation in place and are optimistic about the future. I hope you'll be a part of it.

Will we see another 49ers suber bowl in our lifetime bros?

I'm scared
>>
>>68058387
probably, but it will take at least another decade imo. the last time we won, we had eddie D with seifert coaching and shanahan as OC. we've had two owners since then that shot the team in the foot so until the current one learns enough from experience (he's not even fucking 40 yet) and we've had to suffer through seeing our team on Hard Knocks a couple times, our front office MIGHT just wise up enough to properly build a long-term successful machine.

until then, we'll just have to hope for flash-in-the-pan flukey kind of successes that have no bearing on how well we're built. maybe chip can pull out a couple of those.

they went from sucking in 10, new coaching staff and now they're 1 game away from the super bowl, it just felt so good to see them as 1 of the legit top teams that even though losing to the gnats sucked i still felt optimistic about the future and felt good about the team
that Aints game at the stick is still one of my favorite sports memories

that was actually pretty emotional for me too at the moment. I was visiting home at the time to help my sister move out since my dad was so ill he was under orders to stay in bed, but I took a break from packing to watch the game since it was our first one in almost a decade.

after the alex smith rushing TD my dad hobbled out to congratulate me and give me a hug telling me he knows how important that win was for our team and how much we've went through in the meantime. then he went back to his room cause he was already pushing himself.

a couple minutes later brees hits graham for the 70 yard TD and I couldn't have felt worse. now we're down 4 with under 2 minutes and my dad just jeopardized his health further because he thought we already won.

so when that final play of the drive hit though, I was pretty torn up about it too, for multiple reasons. I really felt for vernon davis too

yeah that back and forth at the end had me on edge, the Graham TD had me thinking it was over but Smith became the QB we all hoped he could be and made this generation's 49er highlight

VD is a strange story, seemed like so much potential but stuck on a run first and let the defense keep the score low team and didn't get to show all his potential, his run blocking helped a lot but that doesn't show up in stats

That's because he was targeted so much because teams would rather throw at him than Sean Smith. He also led in yards and TDs allowed. He was also graded about 50th among CBs by PFF last year.

Who's your sleeper team for 2016? The one that you think can make an impact, but everyone else considers to be shit/mediocre.
Mine are the Falcons, their offense with Matty Ice, Julio, Mack and Sanu has the potential to tear shit up, and the defense has slightly improved with the addition of Keanu Neal and Deion Jones

Stop acting like you aren't riding on Currys dick already, faggot. GSW is a shit tier team with subhumans like Draymond and chuckers like Curry. They are destroying the game by replacing basic fundamentals with a disproportionate number of threes that compensate for their otherwise shit team.
>>
>>68069622
They're hardly sleeper teams anymore, everybody and their mother is hyping them up.
>>
>>68069497
Chargers. Whisenhunt is back and last time they had them they dominated TOP. They lost 8 games last year by one possession and their defense has become markedly better with off season pickups. If everyone stays healthy I can see them making a run at the wildcard maybe even the division

Ive never considered the Falcons to be a sleeper team. They went 6-1 their first 7 games before the drop off last season.

Possibly, but over the last decade Kubiak's offensive's have run the ball 45% of the time and averaged about 430 attempts per season which if it holds would put us just outside the top 10 in attempts this year. Plus Sanchez has two top tier receivers to throw to and the line just lost one of the best run blocking guards in the league.

He might age slightly better because of the lack of injuries.

Completion percentage and yards per attempt are two of the most important stats to look at for a QB because it strongly correlates to their efficiency and effectiveness as a passer and thus the efficiency of the offense.

Oh my you are one of those guys. Try points per possession minus game winning drives that kill the clock. Then look at Eli. He consistently over his career has had teams with high points per possessions while he was at helm. Same with rustle Wilson, Rodgers, brees, brady.

You'd think after 2 super bowl rings, 44,000 yards, a couple dozen clutch post season performances you'd idiots would get he was pretty good. Eli never has or never will care about stats. He's probably going to get another ring as well if he plays another 4 years

Dudes now on the down side of his career. Still he's a hof.
>>
>>68080809
The Giants were ranked 16th in points per possession last year and 19th the year before that and 25th the year before that. In fact 2012 was the only season of the last 7 years that the Giants were even ranked in the top 10. So I'm guessing you don't even research the statistics you cite.

And PFF is one of the most unbiased sources (albeit obviously imperfect) for player evaluation that currently exists. And regardless of their evaluations they still have a fuckton of objective information that's incredibly useful. Though you don't seem to be one for reason and rationale.

Cleveland Bulldogs

I'd keep the dog mascot. Not to mention there wouldn't be that big of an uproar in Cle because our mascot is already a bulldog/boxer and the name is better than the Browns.

Regardless of whether or not it's named after Paul Brown, my team's name is arguably the worst in the NFL.

Second worst is either Dolphins or Packers. There's literally nothing intimidating about the two.
