The ends of stages (sprints) can be really exciting though, and obviously that's what Sagan is good at. But for the GC contenders, the mountains are the most exciting bit. That's when the real pressure is, when the race leaders are all going up a horrifically steep climb and everyone but the strongest riders are just dropping off like flies.
