Ich bin jetzt fast 21 Jahre alt und seit meiner frühesten Kindheit an eingefleischter Bayernfan. Mein älterer Cousin, mit dem ich viel Zeit verbrachte und großen Einfluss auf mich hatte, war selbst Bayernfan und begeisterte mich auch für Bayern und für Fußball im Allgemeinen. Seitdem bin ich in diesen Verein verliebt.
Ich lebe mittlerweile in der Nähe von Stuttgart, bin allerdings im Osten aufgewachsen und in Leipzig geboren. Vor einem halben Jahr habe ich mich als fußballinteressierter Mensch über das "Projekt" RB Leipzig schlau gemacht und gefallen daran gefunden. Die Stadt an sich hat großes Fanpotenzial, die Menschen sehnen sich nach hochklassigem Fußball und sollen ihn so schnell wie möglich bekommen. Mir imponiert das, die Stadt ist wunderschön, das Stadion, das passt einfach alles zusammen. Ich fühlte mich schon immer besonders zu meiner Geburtsstadt verbunden, so ist es logisch dass ich Supporter von RB Leipzig geworden bin.
Für mich liegt der Unterschied zwischen bspw. Hoffenheim und Leipzig einfach darin, dass Hoffenheim wenig Chancen hat eine echte Fankultur aufzubauen, da es einfach ein Dorfverein ist und nie Fame erlangen kann in meinen Augen. Obwohl sie bereits mehrere Jahre erstklassig spielen, werden sie diesen Ruf nie los werden. So etwas wird bei RB gar nicht auftauchen..

Das zweite mal war ich dann erst wieder 2011/12 gegen Chemnitz bei eisigen Temperaturen im Stadion und seitdem so bei ungefähr 25 Spielen. Ich finde die Entwicklung, die RB Leipzig im Fanbereich genommen hat wirklich beachtlich. Wenn man 2009 und 2013 vergleicht würde man nicht glauben, dass das der gleiche Verein ist.
Für mich ist das Gefühl, an so etwas Teil haben zu können ein wichtiger Grund, diesen Verein zu unterstützen. Natürlich liebe ich auch den Sport und will in meiner Stadt endlich Bundesligafussball sehen(bisher wars aber auch ganz schön), aber das hochkämpfen eines Vereins aus der Unterklassigkeit und die damit einhergehende Fanentwicklung hat schon nochmal eine besondere Attraktivität, gerade in Leipzig.
Außerdem finde ich die Fanstruktur von RB sehr angenehm, hab bisher keinerlei Gepöbel oder andere negativen Dinge erlebt - weil das Publikum so gemischt ist.
Im Gesamtpaket ist RB Leipzig für mich deshalb eine extrem spannende Sache und eine möglichkeit guten Fußball mit Freunden live zu erleben.
Fan würd ich mich trotzdem nicht nennen, weil ich meinem BVB wohl immer treu bleiben werde. Dafür bin ich zu lange dabei. Aber so lang Rot Weiss nicht gegen Schwarz Gelb spielt, ist das ja in der Praxis kein Problem. ;)

Dort habe ich (in Bonlanden, ein Vorort von Stuttgart) 4 Jahre als Jugendtrainer "gearbeitet"
Aber ich habe mich immer für den "Ostfußball" interessiert. Und ich fand es toll das Sachsen Leipzig ganz oben in der Regionalliga mitspielte. Aber was man dann zu lesen bekommt von wegen Übergriffen und Randalen...
Dann hab ich mich etwas weiter mit dem Leipziger Fußball beschäftigt und da hab ich echt das grausen bekommen. Egal ob LOK, Chemie oder sonst wer das einzige was man über Leipziger Fußball lass waren Randale und .... .
Und wie es halt im Leben so ist, bekam ich halt 2011 ein Job Angebot aus Leipzig was ich nicht abschlagen konnte. Also bin ich nach Leipzig gezogen.
Mein erstes Spiel war gegen Schalke und (ja es war gegen einen Bundesligaverein) ziemlich genial.
Dann war ich gegen Chemnitz im Stadion und habe mich extra weit (von der Masse!?!?!) gesetzt. Aber dort wurde ich angesprochen (von heute meinem besten Freund) das ich doch nicht alleine sitzen muß sondern in gemeinschaftlicher Runde das Spiel genießen soll.

Stimmung ist bei RBL in jedem Heimspiel fantastisch. Wer anderes behauptet, war noch nie da. Bisher hat mir das jeder Ortsunkundige, den ich zum Spiel mitgenommen habe, bestätigen können. Es besteht nicht der geringste Anlass die Stimmung mit einem Kreisligisten zu vergleichen. I think buying a player like that is a lot bigger than just spending €30m on a transfer fee. It's a question of the entire wage structure at the club. Suddenly they'd have to turn up the dial on a lot of their current star players. Not saying they can't necessarily do or afford it, but it's a big, existential decision, more than a financial one, to buy whoever is a big star in the footballing world these days.
