The NBA and NHL are small time compared to the NFL and MLB. More tradition, more fans, more revenue = no need for advertisements on their uniforms.

This isnt even really about an ad patch on a jersey; i can learn to live with that. It's that corporatist ad culture is so fucking pervasive and it's insulting that these jew owners just continue to pile on and shove it down our throats.

This literally cements football as the GOAT sport. You niggerball handegg cucks literally have no excuses to hate on the world sport anymore. The whole reason why ads were on kits is because there are no ads interrupting the game. Now you fags have BOTH ads every 3 minutes and the eye sore on jerseys. Lol enjoy.
>>
>>66844910
I don't think it'll work like that. I mean, the people who will care about this will likely just keep wearing their old ad-less jerseys (as they should). Teams would be pretty dumb to stop selling jerseys without ads. Eventually it'll transition to a generation where people don't know better than jerseys with ads, as is the case with football/soccer.

Can anyone else see something like new jerseys every season happen, like in football/soccer? I mean one tradition already being broken with ads, as long as the jerseys aren't too radical I can see it happening. Probably plenty of people who will buy them every season.

- forcing Sterling to sell (although I kinda get that)

Why can't they just stick to fucking basketball?
>>

It will be simple and clean. Just look at WNBA jerseys as an example. They won't go full NASCAR and plaster over 9000 sponsor logos over the jersey. Just 1 main sponsor instead of the team or city name.

Increases brand recognition. As long as they are on a famous team's jersey, people will see it, recognize it, and be brought up later when people ask who/what that company/logo is. It helps companies remain relevant and, if we extend it to college athletics, brings in non-athlete students.

It should be by player instead of team, and the amount of annual revenue the player gets from them determines the size of the company logo

It makes sense for the MLB since its the only league where the teams keep pretty much all of their revenue instead of spreading it around the league. However, it's also the most traditionalist of the four leagues so it will probably be the last.

The NFL will probably next to follow suit though. The League office only cares about avoiding lawsuits and money. They'll probably assign every team a company to advertise.
