Mccormack missed a literal open net and Turris ringed one off the bar when the game was a 1 goal game.

it was a good game and i think the bruins have more personnel who're accustomed to the type of gooning that went on in the latter stages of the 3rd, so they kept their cool more. obviously was a much closer game than the score reflects, and the sens had that one powerplay where they could've easily evened it up twice.

at this point, the bruins dress a litany of interchangeable wingers outside of marchand and eriksson, so it really hurts to lose him. the whole team hinges on krejci, marchand, bergeron. missing two of them is beyond devastating. fortunately, we've got a lot of young guys with a scoring touch who can play in the nhl.
