Well CJ is averaging 20 PPG on slightly above average efficiency and is literally dame tier at creating his own shot but he's more streaky than dame. 20-4-3 are near allstar numbers but his defense isn't great (he's 6'4" opposed to dames 6'1" at least, better length too so he can improve). Portland also had a positive point differential about 25 games into the season (just before damian got injured and they went on the december road trip) so they're not as bad as their record may suggest either, especially on nights like this which showcase how talented they are at moving the ball and rebounding which are their two main strengths.
Crabbe is just breaking out so it's hard to say how long this will last but his midrange is above average, his 3&D are average (in a good way). His rebounding/passing are pretty mediocre but he's not asked to do that too much.
Basically CJ has great potential, probably 15m+ kind of guy in the new cap, Crabbe is more of a back up 3&D kinda guy.

Well Portland isn't making the playoffs this year even with all of that said (despite how bad Dame/CJ backcourt sounds defensively, their paint defense is fucking horrid) so Dame's injury may be for the better so that they finish with a better pick.
Phoenix might do the same with Bledsoe's injury that he got today.
The west truly did become a shitshow this year, like there is a good chance two teams in the east this year are above .50 and miss the playoffs, while every seed below the 3 in the West just doesn't look good.
Back on topic though yeh CJ will be fucking paid when his contract is up, I don't know if it will be by Portland because his playstyle conflicts with dame a lot and if this is the case they'll probably try to trade him off for a good return since his value skyrocketed this year.

Beal is good at defense though, Tony Allen is not good at offense. A better argument would be Tony Allen or Kyle/Korver/JJ Reddick/J.R. Smith/ any no-defense spot up shotting guard. And yes I would take Tony Allen over all those guys.
As for Chris Paul, he's only slightly slightly worse on defense than Conley, but much better at running the offense.
I think DeAndre Jordan is super overrated and his defense is meme defense. He just blocks and alters shots in the paint, he doesn't actually stop people from getting into the paint and he can't defend on-ball at all. Marc Gasol and Cousins's footwork rapes DJ.
