I don't really know how to explain it, but imagine showing someone a picture of Tom Brady and saying "Tom Brady, Quarterback of the New England Patriots" to you. Now imagine believing that to an extent, except deep down you're so used to believing that Tom Brady isn't real (even though this may have started weeks, days or even hours ago) that you consider the idea of him being real as mere speculation.

The receiver for MT dived in the end zone just as the WM safety began to strip the ball from his hand on the receiver's way down. The ball was coming out of his hand as it crossed the plane, but they still called it a TD even though then his knee hit the ground 1 yard short and the ball bounced out of bounds; the announcer said that would normally be a touchback.

The people that want Pettine fired are retarded. I have never seen the players of a 3-11 team show so much respect to a coach. They're not rebelling in any way or going to the media and complaining even anonymously and many of the players are actually going to the owner and media themselves to defend Pettine. Things are obviously broken with the defense and things will change with Oneil this offseason whether he stays or goes, last season the defense was making great strides and that's because Pettine was heavily involved and doing some hand holding. This year was Oneil all by himself and that won't happen again.
You also just can throw away the progress the offense has made with everything working against it.
