I gave LVG the benefit of the doubt last season because he had a tough job to overhaul a shit team and he achieved the bare minimum. He still got trashed 4-0 by MK dons and got knocked out by the first challenging team he faced in the FA cup (after having to go to a fucking replay against Cambridge). He had ONE good run of results back when United played Liverpool and City off the park (there was another winning streak around November, but United were seriously lucky throughout those games).
The signings were great in the summer. The problem was selling everyone else and doing fuck all to reinforce the strikeforce. Then there's the stubborness with Rooney, ALWAYS getting a game no matter how shit he's become.
Getting knocked out by Boro at home, this current run of shit games, getting knocked out of an easy CL group. It's just not good enough. Why is it that we have to wait 2-3 years when other teams can see the impact of a new manager in like half a year?
