Seeing a little hesitation like the oil defense are prone to do - giving the inbound puck carrier one or two too many strides / a meter too much space. I mean I get it, they're trying to get more defending bodies in their zone but like fuck it, why not just engage instantly? ESPECIALLY if another inbound attacking player is much faster than your other defender.
If you had really fast defenders or if your last offensive push wasnt super deep then maybe it makes sense to hesitate a touch so you can set up. but if it's a quick turnaround off of a really unexpected pass interception in the neutral zone, motherfucker you should be UP THAT GUYS ASS LIKE SANDUSKY.
