I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at, but if I'm reading you correctly, the Ivy Leagues do often have way more student participation than your normal schools, but I think that's just because we're smaller, and the rich tradition, but yeah. You meet very few people who aren't officers in some club.
For example, I'm an officer in my frat, and I'm also on the sailing team, (VERY far back on the roster lol).
Even merits do their parts too, but the extent of their extracurricular seems to be gathering in mobs and harassing professors to make sure only poor people get into Yale.

If/When Sparty beats Iowa, they should be ranked 2nd or 3rd with the best wins in the country. They should be ranked over OU and especially bama, who will have an extra win over a garbage UF team that will be ranked low in the top 25. No wins will compare to a #6, #15, #16 and wherever Iowa lands, will probably be quite high, in the top ten. All three of these teams have a loss, OU's and MSU's being equally bad and ole miss having lost to memephis, arkansas and UF is hardly a quality loss for bama.
