thunder was a bit harder for me to find. one of my local smoke shops started carrying it but i wasn't a fan of it, maybe because they were the regular portions and not white. there's regular portions then white portions. you probably have nordic mint white. the regular portions are soggy and wet as fuck before you throw them in, while white portions are just slightly moist and allow your saliva to do most of the work, so the flavor develops slower.
i'd avoid the flavored portions personally because after excessive use, my upper lip (yes, upper, not lower) started to swell up when i used mint and wintergreen. it could have just been a reaction to the artificial flavor, though, because the original white portions don't irritate my lip at all and i've been using general for about 5 years now

white is a style, not a flavor. white refers to the amount of moisture in the portion. not to imply that white portions are bone dry, it's just that regular portions have much more moisture in them.
i've never ran across nordic mint portions that aren't white portions in the US, personally.
