goaltending and PK is great, but so is their shooting %. they get outshot almost overy game and prey down on their opportunities (while having very few PP opportunities)

They have played a lot of shit teams tbqh, they have played a lot of bad games where they've won.
In a sense they might be overachieving right now like Germany just said but, the scary thing is they aren't clicking 100% yet yet still winning.
They are working out the kinks against shit teams, and winning. they will be fully prepped when it matters.

Yandle has been alright, not the superstar offensive star we were promised, but he's decent.
He actually has a toughness to him that I didn't see last season. Not afraid to push opponents around in front of the net on the defensive end. He hits back if he is messed with. I like that.
Boyle is an issue yes.

Raanta, Stoll, Stalberg, McIlrath and Etem look good for what they cost. Moore is a great 4C and >we should keep him if we can haggle him down to 1M-1,2M. Kreider and Hayes need to be resigned, Hayes maybe on a bridge deal (coming off ELC). I'm a little concerned about Miller as he's coming off a bridge deal though I'd love to keep him too

yep. pretty funny though that rangers score on lost offensive zone faceoffs sometimes. still, their set plays on won faceoffs look great and I wish they could utilize it more.
I don' think Moore will ask for too much. He's 35 now and came off the highest paid contract in his career.

It's a shame we won't be able to keep Yandle. If they don't win the cup with him, it will be a bigger shame that we lost Duclair. Hopefully they win this year.
Raanta has been great. He knows his role. He just wants to come in and win. Considering his record here and in Chicago it's a wonder why the Blackhawks let him get away. Small sample size but from what I've seen, he might end up like Talbot and be a starter someday. But for now he's happy being the backup here.
Stoll has been good. He's going to shine in the playoffs. Stalberg has clicked nicely, like I thought he would. He's a decent 3rd liner. He's a lot bigger than I thought.
Etem hasn't done shit IMO, hasn't proven an adequate replacement for Hagelin. Thankfully guys like Lindberg and Fast have stepped up to replace Hagelin.
I'm not sold On McIlrath, I just haven't seen enough. I know his expectations, I hope he makes it. He's better than Boyle defensively. They are giving him a legitimate shot, I hope he makes it.
Boyle is shit, but I still hopes he makes it. He's worthless defensively, Yandle and Klein do what he is supposed to do offensively, he's not necessary at this point. If Mcilrath is better than him defensively, Boyle is useless. Would not be surprised if Boyle is traded at some point this season.
Last thing because I'm drunk and this will be the last long winded post I make. Zook has been unbelievable this season, and Kreider has been disappointing so far. Lundqvist has been tops. Stepan hasn't got going yet but is still playing well. And Brassard is my favorite player. Nash won't hit 20 goals this year. But will light it the fuck up on the playoffs.
