A. Revoke their Scholarships
B. Do Nothing
C. Come to an agreement with the players

I'm not an SEC fan, I'm a fan of the University of Florida, a university which I attended and graduated from. A school which is not only superior to Ohio state academically, but also in athletics as well. We not only competley and totally embarassed on the football field in 2006, but also again in 2011 (funny how you forgot to mention that one).
While UF does play in the SEC, I don't hold the conference in which my school plays in higher esteem than my school itself, so it doesn't not bother me in the least that schools like Mississippi State aren't that great academically; because I didn't attend them. I attended the top public school in my state, for free, and have a satisfying career.
All you have is a degree from Ohio University and a fistful of losses on the biggest stage in college sports to the school I graduated from. The problem that LSU has now is that they only have 7 qualifying wins. They beat an FCS team and that doesn't count in the playoff or bowl picture.
So, while their SOS is decent, but not great except for Alabama, they should be stuck behind a lot of teams. Even Penn State, Florida and MSU wold be ranked ahead of them, IF the committee follows the rules and ignores the FCS win, which every bowl committee is required to do.

South Florida started their football program in 1997. Over their storied history of 19 seasons, they've appeared in six bowl games. They've never finished better than 3rd in their conference (AAC).
