The RR triple threat is genuinely one of the best matches ever.

It was only a short feud but the promo they had before it was great and the match told a great story and then the shock of seeing Bryan win made it all fantastic.

WWE can be saved by a brand split, right now.
Too many guys with upper-midcard potential are floundering and if you expect the NXT guys to be introduced with any shred of a push, they need people to go over.
Smackdown is on Thursdays not Fridays now, but do what they did back in the day. Instead of Angle, Benoit, Guerrero, Edge etc being "banished" to Smackdown, you put guys like Cesaro, Barrett, Ziggler, etc and let them wrestle.
And actually separate them. No Cena showing up on both shows to draw ratings. And don't spend most of Smackdown recapping Raw - have it build it's own identity.
Why not legitimately split it down the Vince/HHH & Steph lines? HHH is allowed to take "his guys" to Smackdown and build a glorified NXT for himself on a larger scale. Vince keeps his Roman Reigns types and focuses on Raw.
When they broke up the brand split, they simply didn't have the depth of talent to fully support two shows. Now that they have, and there's significant time before the brands were split, it's really an idea they need to go back to.

Even if they keep Raw as the "A" show with Cena, Rollins, Reigns, Wyatt etc. and build Smackdown as the "B" show, people will still tune into Smackdown if it's offering fresh storylines independent of those on Raw.

>For years now, the Royal Rumble hasn’t been as effective as it once was. Going back as far as 2011, the company were trying to find ways to shake up the creaking event. The 2011 Rumble was deemed the biggest ever, beefed up to 40 entrants instead of the usual 30. This didn’t really do much to reinvent the wheel, so to speak, because WWE filled many of the surplus slots with announcers or nostalgia acts.
>One overwhelming problem with the Rumble is that there are only a handful of wrestlers who fans believe could feasibly win the match. A shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title is up for grabs at WrestleMania, and it’s unlikely that the creative team would book Bo Dallas – as one example – to gain that right. Worse yet, the field is narrowed further when examining fan reaction to winners.

>The 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony didn’t please Vince McMahon. Inducted last Spring were names such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Nash, The Bushwhackers and – finally – ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage. It was quite the line up, one befitting of such an occasion. Unfortunately for many of the entrants, McMahon felt they went on a bit too long with their speeches.

>Since the beginning of 2015, WWE have started to place more emphasis on the role of women during programming. ‘Total Divas’ played a big part in that, but a faux-reality show doesn’t really do quite as much as meaningful character development, angles and more ample match time on shows like Raw and Smackdown. Cheerfully, those are all things WWE has worked on.
>At the moment, Charlotte is the reigning WWE Divas Champion. She, along with the likes of Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, exploded out of the NXT developmental system to become a main roster fixture. That cannot be considered anything other than positive, but there are already cracks in what was deemed a winning formula. Does the ‘female revolution’ have durability?

6. The Same ‘Start/Stop’ Booking Will Continue
>This particular entry has been a problem for years in WWE, admittedly not being limited to the coming 2016. Generally, the creative squad stumble on a character they’re red hot on, booking them strongly for a short period as a result. Then, out of nowhere, they suddenly become jaded on the star, and start de-emphasising their importance on television. It’s happened too much, and needs to cease.
>Examining names like Rusev and ‘King’ Barrett throughout 2015 has been fascinating. Just like many others before them, WWE have failed to establish a long-term goal for their progression. Winning the ‘King Of The Ring’ tournament should have been a launching point for Barrett, but the promotion turned the Englishman into a walking cartoon. He was more at home on the lower mid-card.

>One of the biggest problems World Wrestling Entertainment currently face is readying themselves for the future. That’s exactly why there’s been such focus on the WWE Performance Center and NXT as viable growth systems for the stars of the coming years. Further to this, there’s a problem of taking natural talent to the next level, genuinely making them top-level draws.
>Seth Rollins is a key example of this. The man has all the talent in the world, and potential to grow as a performer on the microphone. Sadly, he doesn’t really spike ratings the way WWE would want him to. Traditionally, the WWE Champion is the man responsible for carrying the burden of business in the company, but that tag doesn’t really fit Rollins. He’s important, no doubt, but the TV/Pay-Per-View numbers are unlikely to rise or fall drastically whether he appears or not.
>This goes against WWE’s own system. It’s not entirely Seth’s fault, he just isn’t portrayed on the level of The Undertaker or Brock Lesnar. Those men will be analysed in later entries, making WWE’s situation even worse.
