You didn't, I was just making a comparison from a male perspective they could find more relatable. As in, he or any man most likely doesn't want contact from someone who despises males, so why shouldn't it be reasonable that a woman doesn't want contact from one who hates females?
But I don't suspect that's the problem the poster had, in fact I'm sure they already understood well. What the poster was concerned about is that more recently the word 'misogyny' and its derivatives is often used by a certain group of people or type of person who they lumped you in with.
Who knows, the poster may be right but I don't think we should make such immediate judgments about people based merely on certain words they may use, because when people start doing that it restricts our vocabulary for fear we may be lumped in with a group of people and I won't have that because then we're letting people steal our words, our language, our essence of communication from us.

Also to clarify for you too, the poster was using a common form of speech here on an imageboard, where you take a quote from someone ('non-misogynistic' in this case) and then in the next line ('le misogyny meme') they are not actually pointing out a separate subject, they're actually referring to the quote and and reducing it, calling it a meme. Now they aren't necessarily saying 'misogyny' is a meme, they're referring to its very modern usage and the context surrounding it.
It's kinda hard to actually explain this and pull it apart for other people because it is very much a cultural thing here. But hopefully you're able to take another look at it and realise what was actually going on now.

But to clear it up for anyone, no, I do not hate men. I'm not Tumblrcore. I don't want to be treated differently because of my gender, is all. And the whole, "then don't fucking say you're a female!" statement is not a fix to the problem. The only true fix would be to remove the gender question from the template. But then there would be confusion for people who are looking for someone specific (male only, female only)
