The only thing I can suggest to cure low/no self esteem would be to list the things that you are good at that could be considered 'productive.' Vidya doesn't count unless you're korean. If you come up empty then that's your problem - go learn a skill, even if it's something like computing or teaching. That way, you know something so you therefore have something to offer in social situations, relationships and uneducated people, which improves your worth to others and therefore yourself.
If that idea's not good, list the family and friends that you get along with or speak to on at least a weekly basis. If this is empty, go make some friends. Get into nice, easy things that everyone will lap up. Everyone is impressed with someone who knows how to create, whether that is drawing, woodwork, sculpting or cooking. I usually cheat and share music I've found with people - I'm a fan of almost anything and collect links to share with others and to listen to when the mood hits me; only listening to metal won't make me friends with people who don't or are not interested in metal. Knowing what is good/related for a general subject such as cooking or music means you have knowledge about something almost everyone participates in, increasing your worth.
But wait, there's a third option! Self esteem is you simply evaluating yourself. Most of the time, people have multiple external influences which affect your judgement on everything, including self worth. So, if you don't have anyone to say 'thank you for being you' (which you don't really because I'm here) and you think you are nothing, then that is what you are. With a little bit of mental hoopla, nothing can judge anything, let alone 'nothing' - just like you cannot divide by zero. With this, you can conclude you're chatting shit because you cannot judge yourself if you truly think you have no worth, because your opinion is worth nothing.

Im so exhausted combatting it that I can barely type this but I'll try one more time because I love the game.
You'll lose a lot at first. And its going to suck if you are focused on winning. If you focus on learning and mastering one small chunk of the game every match, you can have a lot of fun as you go even if you are losing, because so long as you are constantly improving and not repeating mistakes, you'll always go into that next match better prepared and more likely to win. Eventually you'll be the one raising the skill average of the team, and you'll lose because of bad teammates instead of your own performance. That's a different hurdle for a different day.
The discord was cool until r9k had a leak. Some kid and started whining about how sad he was and how he didn't have a girlfriend. That "normie's" like us wouldn't understand how much of a shut-in he was. Soon became this bizarre dick measuring contest of how much more autistic and sad someone was compared to another. Absolutely surreal.
Probably isn't an issue anymore but the whole "I'm a NEET" "no I'm sad and a bigger NEET" is disgusting. I was there to step away from that and play video games and cut up with like minded people.

The best hack that I can think of if you don't want to go places would be to record yourself watching a comedian of your choice (or anything else that makes you laugh). Once you've had a couple of giggles and a full belly chuckle, stop the recording and go through it on a video player. Find the points where you're looking all happy and shit and take screenshots - trim them with GIMP or MS Paint or something so it doesn't actually look like you've taken a screenshot (hopefully your video player doesn't have a huge fuck-off play button in the middle).

depression is a tricky beast. Apart from what I've put at >>23613733 , the only thing I can suggest to help would be to get some good sleep. The less things that are going 'wrong' in your life, the easier it is to find out why it is you're not happy, and then you can slowly work out how to fix it. Knowing is half the battle. I can only imagine you're tired of hearing this from people anyway - "It's no good telling me to cheer up; I know that's what I need to do. 'How' is the problem!"
Hopefully things will get better. Maybe write a checklist of things you're not happy about and then you can go through it and focus on each point, one by one. Surely you'll feel worse for immortalising what you're not happy about (I know this feel too), but when you manage to tick something off this list, it feels amazing.

And that's okay - every now and again someone has to be to bring some perspective. I just want to tell you guys that you're fun to be around and it sucks to watch you undersell yourselves and not do anything about the situations you're in when you're not happy about it.
Maybe it's the way some have been brought up, maybe the lack of faith that others had for you, maybe (like me) it was pressure, being expected to be good at everything you did and you slowly starting crumbling down - not able to physically ask for help because the very concept is like admitting you can't do what's expected of you. I'm a social outcast because I was never able to get help when asking as a child, when it came to studying, so I refuse the help and charity of others on principle - because in the back of my mind, I worry that they'll let me down like when I was a kid. I can't blame my parents for this forced independence and self-learning - mum's dyslexic and shit with numbers.
There's also being isolated in primary school for four years for some chucklefuck reason; only allowed to piss ball about with the older kids. But I never got on with them for some unknown reason, so even now I talk to myself like I'm having conversations with 4-5 people and will re-live *any* conversation I have for years - I'm still mulling over what I could have said to the teacher who told me I need to stop 'upsetting' the year below me. Naturally, all this shit snowballed as I grew older as it was what I knew - academic independence and social isolation from anyone other than family.
I've not typed this out in what is now a drunken haze because I want to have a pissing match. Not at all. I've typed this out because I'm broken like everyone else. Maybe not to the same extent as I'm lucky my family isn't dysfunctional or divorced, but it's still half your day that you're spending with nothing but yourself, surrounded by people that disappear and forget you at the end of each year.

and she always said that if I enjoy what I'm doing, and it can get me somewhere important where I want to be, then I should go for it. She never pushed what she wanted me to be unless I asked, to which she'd reply "Become a Doctor, Plumber, Electrician or 'something to do with computers' because there's always jobs going for that kind of thing." This was only after I had decided that I wanted to be a programmer, after my Granddad - still giving me the choice to change my mind and profession before I was stuck down my path.

I don't know if anyone has ever asked their parents/guardians what they want from their children. I assume that some say money, others say fame - hell, I imagine children would be a common answer too! The only thing that has ever come out of my parents' and my grandparents' mouths was the phrase "for you to be happy." That's it. It's all they ask of me. What is infuriating as fuck is that saying that phrase is one of the easiest things you can do today. Doing what that phrase means? That's when it becomes the hardest thing you'll ever do. Sweating under the pressure to perform well in the things you take your hand to, trying to network so that you have people you can rely on for things currently outside your skillset, all while daring to attempt to have enough free time to relax with some vidya or something when instead you should be learning something new or improving what you do know - making the first two sections easier for the next day.
You're damn straight I'm a dick but you better believe that I'm working towards this state of happiness that will possibly never come and as a dick, I'm going to fuck anyone who tries to hold back my progress - I've been through that enough. Will I achieve happiness every day? No - not by a long shot. But I want to be able to say on my mum's death bed, with tears streaming down from my eyes, that "I've managed to do what you asked for once, mum," and she will look at me; not even turning her head to face me, and say "that's good, I suppose."

I was just going through the database of images that 'hydrus network' made that seemed useful for showing the theme of what was originally posted - the tag I had used to get the image was probably 'blush' from safebooru - I probably have the image you've used too somewhere in the folder structure which seemed to have picked hashing instead of tags as a way to organise everything; it's the reason most of the images I use are just 'jumbled' hex.

when I went to a community college my Pell Grant money (US federal aid) was always more than my tuition and books by a nice margin, usually several hundred dollars
if you can make that stretch for a semester you should be OK
you should know though, Pell Grants won't pay for a whole year unless you go part time the whole time, and if you go part time you won't have as much extra money, so the optimal thing would be to go full-time some semesters and skip other semesters and work at a job, but that's much easier said than done
