THE 100-1 CHALLENGE

No matter how good you believe someone's voice is, variety is what keeps this place moving and thriving, or at least surviving. This place isn't a competition, I remember starting out here and getting no replies or much interest at all. I'm sure people would much rather have 50 people do a request than just one person.
So you and anyone else that is intimidated by more established posters, or agitated by a lack of people noticing your efforts, remember we were all in your shoes. It takes time to break out of that, so don't hold yourself back. Give it the best you can give and in time you'll get people that are excited whenever they see your name pop up in the thread.

Keep contributing if you enjoy it! And don't get too wound up over your voice being a "fit". There are many factors that go into a good recording, with vocal "tone" just being one of them. I'm sure some things come more easily to the MSA/FSA deities, but I bet even they put time into practicing, prepping, re-recording, editing, etc.
