I used to think that posting in /shut/ would help me meet people who I had stuff in common with, people who could genuinely sympathize with others about having bad social anxiety, being painfully introverted, and generally awkward and feeling unlovable.
But for the last several threads, they've been nothing but fighting, drama, petty attempts at 'trolling' and even more drama. People arguing about some of the most irrelevant bullshit imaginable. And the people who do end up adding each other just end up being major disappointments because people who post in these things have highly unrealistic expectations as to what they're looking for. People who end up letting others down because in their feeble attempts to communicate and socialize with others, only further cement and validate the already widespread notion and concept that the only people who do post in these things are major league aspies. I'd say its been a letdown, but I don't know what I should think because I don't know what I should have originally wanted out of it.

I think I'm gonna check myself into the ER or a clinic, something along those lines, before I end up killing myself at some point this week. I'm sitting up, trying to buy stuff for Christmas, taking too long making sure i make all the right decisions and it's 3AM.
I had to buy new tires because I had a blow out, ~$450 for a set of Winter Tires. (Hopefully they weren't a waste for my Civic).
I quit my dead end-wage slave-job soon so I'll go from having very little money to having none until I get something else (I could have kept my job until I get something else but I'm leaving for Europe on the 14th and didn't feel like going back).
It was nice having a place of my own for the last 8 months but it ate up about half of my monthly income, (being able to get away from my dad was worth it. Some times he rambles on or turns the heat up to 80° so he can sit out in his boxers (was really confusing is that he always has the AC set to 60° during the summer), and likes to lounge around nude). Typing that out is frustrating.

In other news, I met a Spaniard last Spring and since we were getting along so well and I had money I bought a couple tickets to see him.
