They would be able to exist in fluidic space, communicate telepathically, and if they scratched you their cells left in the wound would consume your body.

theyd be pure conciousness

>before speak please forgive I am Italy and no very much go /sci/
thinks is very happen would have genetically modification on big problem because have imperfection body is very danger and human is body not make for evolve monkey to this

wow... just wow...

We as humans have quadruple stranded DNA in our cells. Triple stranded DNA is used in therapeutics. But if a persona had triple stranded DNA instead of double stranded, they would die. That's it, they probably would never even be born.

have you ever been as far as decided to do look more like

Despite the trolling in this thread, I'm going to assume you're more naive then trolling.

To put it simply, molecular biology and the biophysical standpoint says that it wouldn't work given our adenine, thymine, guanine, and cytosine model for DNA. The way that the helixes bond to one another simply wouldn't work with a triple helix (think trying to put three puzzle pieces together on the same edge, on the order of a million pieces).

That being said, if some strange, niche organism was found with it, and it was viable for that organism, you'd most likely find that it would have increased protein expression, and see that it would most likely be a shorter-lived organism. The DNA would have to have an entirely different framework for regulation, and expression of genes.

Dead, our transcription proteins wouldn't work

you guys realize that transcription proteins would be transcribed by said triple helix right? like all proteins?
>>

we'd get three times as high bro

DNA only exist doesn't exist in the double stranded form in the cell. It exists as chromatin.

It couldn't exist due to the chemical structures of the 4 nucleotides, but if it did exist, proteins that act on the physical structure wouldn't be able to function

*Doesn't exist in the double stranded form in the cell

yeah they woulld have different nucelotides
