/g/ and /pol/ need your help /sci/. Below is a copypasta of what's going on.

"If any of you can crack the code, you will forever change the election.

DC Madam's attorney has hidden an election bombshell. It is due to be released in two weeks.

http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2016-03-31/dc-madams-attorney-says-election-bombshell-already-online

>“There’s a link right now, that if you had, you would have access to the records,” Sibley says about the website. “If I die, disappear, whatever, they will be out.” Sibley says his website hosts PDFs of Palfrey call logs that contain about 5,000 phone numbers, along with downloadable spreadsheets that contain the names and addresses of 815 Verizon Wireless customers from those logs, which he acquired with a subpoena ahead of Palfrey’s trial.

The story from a fellow anon:

>woman known as "DC Madam" runs high-end escort service in DC for over ten years
>amasses large database of high powered politicians and their sexual encounters with her hookers
>she gets investigated, walls start closing in on her
>"dies mysteriously" in 2007, hanging in her mom's backyard shed is considered a suicide
>but before her death, she gace all her information to her lawyer
>after her death, lawyer was put on gag order, making it illegal for him to release the data
>story gets forgotten for years
>2016 election comes
>the lawyer wants to release the information because it is "very relevant" to this election
>he has set an ultimatum of 2 weeks. if the courts dont lift the gag order in 2 weeks, he's gonna do it (madman.jpg)
>info will also be released automatically
>he set up four servers across the world, and if he doesnt enter a password every three days, the information will be sent to a bunch of media outlets
>this "dead man trigger" style system helps protect him from "disappearing" "

bumping for potential enlightenment

This is /sci/ not /phil/.

>tfw no /phil/

/b/ is better than /pol/ That board is literal cancer.

Has anyone actually tried contacting him? It would be good for him to put his content up on freenet or Tor so that he doesn't get fucked by his hosting company or something between now and two weeks from now.

I wonder if he's including wikileaks in the list of media outlets he's sending shit to. I imagine other media outlets will be very picky about what information they publish.

Don't DDOS his servers, they'll just get taken down and then everyone is fucked.
>>
>>7971505
Not that I know of. How should we go about doing that? I'm sorry, I'd be more resourceful but I'm at work on my phone.
>>
>>7971505
He has it publicly on some public server somewhere. He's using Wikileaks as a dead man's switch, he has to put a password in every three days or it goes public through them.
>>
>>7971506
Contacting him I mean
>>
>>7971499
enlightenment isn't reserved only for philosophy (perhaps you're on the wrong board?)... i use science and reason to explain natural phenomenon.
>>
>>7971505
He can't publish it himself, or give it to anyone. He'd be in jail for the rest of his life.

He can however back the data up on a server with shitty security and then offhandedly mention the fact, thus leading to the information being 'stolen' from him.

nod nod wink wink.
>>
>>7971513
I know mate. However science takes a micro look at all the specifics of life and the universe. Philosophy is more of a macro look.

I don't think 'enlightenment' can ever be found without utilising both.
>>

Found the /b/ thread.

He has a blog (from /b/ thread).

It also seems like #AnonOps has gotten involved. Perhaps someone should contact them. It's been years since I've been on their irc channels. Aside from the rampant namefaggotry and weird group norms, different channels do occasionally get shit done (like that fake Tor update they got Mozilla to sign that busted a bunch of pedos).
>>
>>7971492
>/g/ and /pol/ need your help /sci/
Yes, but they need professional help, and /sci/ doesn't have enough psychiatrists for those boards
/sci/ doesn't even have enough psychiatrists for /sci/

>#AnonOps

Mate. Anon is dead and fucking buried.

Only thing we don't know is if it is now some retarded script kiddies, some SJW types with next to no compsci skills and a huge ego, or whether it is nothing more or less than government sponsored shitposting.

The sum total of what they do these days are publish videos, expose data that has been in the public sphere already, and DDOS websites.
>>
>>7971524
The way it ran when I left was that each channel on the server was ran by a different group of people (anyone could make a channel and try to get others to join in support of whatever cause).

It wasn't uncommon for different channels on the server to be on entirely different sides of an issue or to have entirely different ideologies. The majority of stuff that got into the media was often the retarded shit made by idiots on youtube and facebook with no connection to AnonOps.

I can understand why you think AnonOps is full of facebook tier morons but I also don't put much value in your opinion.

At any rate, it would be good to drop into their irc server and have a look around. If you're serious about this, of course.

Protip: They don't like being linked on 4chan because they believe 4chan is full of newfags and retards who can't into internet.

keeping this thread alive....
>>
>>7971666
What the fuck, aren't threads on three containment boards enough?
>>
>>7971670
No, this is very important.

Wether we get WWIII or not might depend on this. I am not even exaggerating.
>>
>>7971670
Nope. Sorry.
>>
>>7971673
>WWIII
Nobody's going to be starting a world war over politicians fucking prostitutes.
>>
>>7971678
Whoever wins the election could, though. And that may be influenced by whatever information we uncover here.
>>
>>7971517
The only good philosophy is philosophy that is serious about what we know.

Most "philosophers" just play word games and tailor axioms to prove anything they like.

In reality, we don't have convenient axioms.
>>
>>7971682
>inb4 Hillary is into some weird shit
>>
>>7971685
So many different branches and nuances of philosophy though. For every one that waffles on and talks in circles, you have someone discussing dualism with regards to philosophy of minds, or someone like Socrates who refines, and refines, and refines the definitions and meanings of things by virtue of those word games.

A lot of it is fucking bollocks though, and it attracts some of the most pretentious and occasionally anti-science arseholes in existence.

>>7971687
Always been rumours she's a lesbian.
>>
>>7971691
>inb4 Bill didn't do it and took the fall for Hillary
>>
>>7971673
>>7971682
>WWIII

You do realise nothing of the sort is ever going to happen in your lifetime right? I know we all lead boring lives but no president is ever going to risk WWIII. It's not happening, period.

Anyway >>7971492 what is it that you want /sci/ to do again? You should keep in mind that this board is made up of mostly natural science undergrads...
>>
>>7971714
Well, this thread is useless.

Anyway, thanks OP. Knowing that the presidential candidates are into some weird shit would be truly interesting.
>>
>>7971730
Oh, the irony. I guess you had to learn somehow.
>>
Lawyers are whores at the first degree. Her lawyer probably sold the files to the highest bidder by now.
It's not a secret if everyone knows it. The politicians will deny everything and it won't effect anything. You need something much stronger if you wanna change elections.
