I assume most of you have a graphing calculator, so why don't you share dome fun things you have drawn on it.

>I assume most of you have a graphing calculator

Mine died years ago and was never replaced.

Everyone uses matlab/maple/matplotlib for real ploting anyway.

Are you using the drawing tool or actual equations?

If equations, please share.

Is this an American thing? i dont have one, and have never met someone who has one.

in all my classes, and at my job you use one of 2 things
>Normal scientific calculator for quick calculations
>Computer with matlab/excel/polymath/R for graphing and complex calculations

Im struggling to think of a situation where you would need something in between

It's a 90's - early 00's thing, underage kids wouldn't understand

>Im struggling to think of a situation where you would need something in between

A world were computers sucked, laptops sucked more, torrents didn't exist, 10kb/s dial up was the internet, and cellphones were only for faggy businessmen.

Bullshit, ive used computers since windows 3.1 was modern and the 2000s had amazing computers.

Also, i had excel on that same computer and it worked fine for doing calculations.

and why do people stil use these calculators if its 20 year old technology that has been superseded?

As much as I loved my old 98se machine, it sucked. Computers didn't get good until the mid 00s.

One reason could be that AP Calculuses require a graphing calculator? Maybe IB too, I don't know.

It's pretty lame that it uses the unit step function though, it's not much different from just throwing a lot of simple line and curve segments together.
